He has focal dystonia. It’s a condition that causes involuntary muscle spasms. Probably helps with it? I’ve heard him say something in interviews that he can only use a couple of fingers reliably.
@@Hip-Gnosis1134 He said that he has regained most of his chops though, which is insane. The glove helps with decreasing those spasms afaik. His long finger (or whatever the term is) seems to be the main offender when having to co-operate with other fingers. Christian is a fucking beast and stubborn (in a good way).
I remember reading somewhere that they took inspiration for this song from "Yes - Owner of a lonely heart". That's why the intro and tone might feel a bit familiar.

So underrated, truly a masterpiece. Can’t believe how smooth the transition from jazz->rock-> death metal -> (grindcore) is. Love it!
