So cool!
:D Happy to hear that
this is SICK! i LOVE stuff that all clicks together like haha haha!! plus that big light box ads a bunch of good looking stable hand held vibes
which vid shows the results? can you link it or did i miss it?
Glad you enjoyed! Here is the video that shows the results, it's towards the end: ruclips.net/video/P05M13EeYeA/видео.html&pp=ygUJYW1hcmFuIDQ1
@@FellowFilmmaker ahh love it!
Loved this! You do these off the cuff style videos so well, you should do more of them!
Thanks! I def should lol :D I had this one on my list for months and was overthinking it for some reason, decided to just not worry and make it and it turned out well. Appreciate the support
@@FellowFilmmaker this is the way!!
Definitely WEIRD. definitely cool. And I just last week bought a bunch of iFootage gear including the arm. Thanks so much!

Second! Love this setup.
Boom!
Considering the value of gear setup, with a cage is much safer
It is :)
Would have loved to have seen some examples of what kind of footage this would produce. Personally, I'm having a hard time visualizing when I would want to use a rig like this, so some examples would have helped me out. Maybe others have a better imagination than me :-)
You can watch the video that I linked at the end of the video and pinned in the comments, it has the example footage
you are
awesome! Thank u for this vid!
for sure, thanks for watching
@@FellowFilmmaker you are welcome!
that pole is 129 o_O i could get another mc20c almost
I've watched this 3-4 times. I'm using your idea as a way to configure a system that I can use--to take a 360-degree video of an elevated object in a very dark cave. I will put this on a vertical boom pole, and will beef up the arm extensions. thx again
Love to hear that! Glad you're doing something cool with the idea
⚡️Super stinking cool! Love this setup and idea! Nicely done! 💯
Thank you! Hope you get to try it out sometime
This is great, if you're going for that ODed on opioids or too drunk to stand look. The camera obviously has a bias on the roll axis (with that huge light attached to one side), making it hard to control. Nice idea though for clicks. There's a reason there is no footage showing what this looks like in camera.
There is footage if you go to the original video which is linked at the end. You can get loads of awesome stuff with this.
Kondor is slacking you're doing all this promotion for free lol. Great video (and hairdo!) I definitely gotta try this set up out
Lol :D
feel too much stress on the hotshoe...
I would like to see a sample of how it actually looks, in other words results , not only the sales pitch part...just saying.
For sure, it's in the original video linked at the end of the video
This is actually pretty friggin' brilliant
Thank you! I had fun making it
Takk!
Takk to you as well :D
This is so cool. Brilliant! I would prefer the cage solution. 🎉
Cage is certainly safer :D
Definitely a cool set-up option I should keep in mind!
When I am buying a new quick release system I will definitely be looking at this option.
It certainly is a fun setup to try out
Thats super dope! SUBSCRIBED!
Appreciate it!!
Insane setup! That quick release is so satisfying 😌
Right?! :D
Too many double entendres lol you almost didn’t make it through 😂
😀 lol
LUV your haircut!
thanks!
I like the idea a lot when using the cage setup. I'd be very hesitant about doing it directly on camera though. That's a lot of leverage on the very small hot shoe. I'd be afraid of doing one wrong move and wrecking that part of my camera - and who knows what else might be damaged at the same time.
Yes it could, but it's an option all the same. I've done a top handle like that for many months and didn't have a problem. I also never use my hot shoe for flash units anyway, so it was a risk I was ok making
Definitely an option and good that you showed it. I'd just be afraid of ruining (part of) my camera. I don't care about the hot shoe either, but perhaps something else could be damaged it it is ripped off.
I just use an old fashioned on camera light lol.
that works
Incredible Heather!!
thanks!
Nice arrangement, looks good and functions well.
Thanks!
Weird cool is the best. :D That is a great idea.
haha yes :D
Pretty awesome, you earned a sub.
Awesome, thank you!
Interesting!
Glad you think so!
Super muchas gracias, buscaba algo como esto
:D happy to help
I really want to say a big thank you for your help. I just did my first live stream and it was amazing! Just turned it on and chatted for 90 mins. Had 6 people and lots of interaction!
That is awesome!
cool set-up option😀
thanks
Great solution. Keep up the great work.
Thanks 👍
And your arms fall off
lol, it's surprisingly lighter than some gimbal setups
but yeah can work the arms a bit
Cool will try it out.
Have fun
Creo que es DEMASIADO
What feels like too much to you?
Great idea, highly recommend using with a cage. Hot shoe on the R cameras isn't the strongest and I've read a lot of complaints about it breaking off when used with a speedlight.
Thanks for that info, super good to know.
I've done the hot/cold shoe before with just a handle a bunch. I think the key is to be smart with it and use it with two hands when it's getting hefty. But I agree, a cage is safer :D
Good job, Heather! 👏
Thank you!! 😁
Exactly the video I needed. Feels like you're making videos just for me
Glad to hear it!
OOooooo!! And booming a shotgun mic that way as a one man band....I love that. So many times we are looking for ways to mic someone, whether wirelessly, which could be subject to interference or cut outs, or a mic mounted on the camera, which could be too far away. Here, you can boom something light, like a Deity D4, and get the mic closer to them without having a separate boom person in a run and gun situation. You are the QUEEN of rigging!
Yep! It's a great solo operator option for sure :D So much you can do with it
