I used these with the Team Catfish weight slides to make a ruclips.net/user/postUgkxdmsDj7fQXe77DC0l7P7ua8B3PiESUubM Carolina rig and they were perfect for the ponds I fish. I have also used them to make 3 way rigs and these work perfectly. Haven't had any issues with them snagging in rocks or in weeds yet.
Show off hahaha , that's pretty cool buddy . I talked to you about how I had this idea before I saw you make it . I have a question for you , I had thought about making mine longer and thinner , do you get snagged much using those and do you think thinner and longer would help , more like a slink weight ?
I have a mold like that. The sinkers are 8”. 1/4” around. I really don’t see a big difference in the hang up rate. It’s a harder mold to make for sure. DO IT!!!! I think it would be cool.
James. There’s a scrap metal place here near me. I bought a couple hundred pounds of lead last year from them. It was lead sheets. The type they used to use to shield X-ray rooms. It’s 1/8” thick. Thanks for watching.
The reason I think you only weighed in at .9 was because one was poured probably that .1 extra short!! Lol!! But definitely very cool and easy to do with a little patients!!

That's cool how you can make the molds for the sinkers there I'm curious here where do you get the lead from there from a local tire store or where

Do you truly feel this pencil shape helps prevent hang ups on the drift?
Yes sir. It helps on rough uneven bottoms for sure. But Is absolutely necessary. Not really
Team Reelin The Blues Thank you for your timely response. I enjoy you videos!!!
