So she knows how to heal a little bit but she does not know how to heal larger injuries like someone who was trained to be a healer would be able to. Same with a Nina. Nina can heal very tiny wounds but very big wounds she can't really do much. Whereas a healer would be able to heal very large injuries. It's similar to doctors kinda. Doctors learn some general information about Ppls bodies but doctors can choose to go into specific specialties. So Grisha who can control living beings bodies learn a little bit of heartrendering a little bit of tailoring and a little bit of healing... But some people specialize or naturally do much better in certain areas and so their trainers focus on those areas and they become Heartrenders, Healers and Tailors as a classification. But they can still do a little bit of the areas that they did not specialize in.
Your reaction to the Kirrigan reveal was hilarious! My fave ship isn't either of those, but for the show, I'm definitely Team Mal. When reading the books I was firmly Team Alina x power - I wanted her to forget about both men and just become as powerful as possible!

Durasts/fabricators control physical matter. So metal, wood, fabric, bone. Physical things.
