Ff8 made me fall in love with the saga - I played it over and over and still at nearly 40 , it’s the best ff ever. The intro scene steals your heart the moment it comes on... the games claims your soul by the time you finish .... once a ff fan always a ff fan

FF8 was the first FF game that I ever played and fall in love with this game and became FF Fan. FF games has changed my life over and over again. I am 38 years old now and I plan to keep playing new FF games and replaying old once as long as I am alive.
So I played this on the piano at my Cousin's house on New Years and there actually was a tiny bar setup in the corner and the bartender was totally smiling at me. Was it me.... or just my fantasy?

last night there was a girl on the stage who was singing this song and she was smiling and singing and knowing me i am a shy asian guy so i was at the bar the whole time just listening to the song and when she was finished singing she sat down next to me and gave me a hug she said it looked like i needed a hug to make my night so i had to ask her what was the name of this song she was singing to me and this is how i ended up here i was really drunk when she told me what her name was and since then i have never seen her again :'( so i let her go and if it's meant to be i will see her again

I think Final Fantasy 8 and 10 were the best. The music alone was amazing, then the stories really absorbed you into them. I really miss games like these, kinda hope they remake 8.
Really I think 9 has the better song of "Melodies of Life". That's just my opinion though.

Damn, Squall and Rinoa, Laguna and Julia. I think its one of the few games that made my go heart throbe and teas and all. Fell in love with the characters and the story. This is my 1st and favorite FF game then X, 7, 6 and XI.

reminds me of my 1st love way back during my middle school days. i always listen to this even though its only one sided and she does not know of it, i prayed that one day she will know of it. 15yrs passed, i always think of her whenever i listen to this, thinking what become of her. did she get married and live a happy life or what.

one of the best songs from a final fantasy soundtrack, this is definitely tops, and i did not even care for FF8 personally, but i will admit it had a spectacular soundtrack, and the game surely lived up to what final fantasy had done from the very beginning. it made daring approach to change the entire gameplay, from the draw system, to its strong emphasis on summons (Guardian Forces) , alas the first and only final fantasy to have the main villain a female and as any hardcore fan would know

yeaa, i wish they would just confirm the fact that Squall's adventure was through his own purgatory and acceptance of his death... it really needs to be confirmed, because i took a deep look into the game and , square is totally fuking us , they wanna leave us hanging
really? wow, thanks i been trying to figure it out, but it seems to point that she would be, through time compression, but that makes a lot of sense, what doesnt is the fact that everything changed after Squall was iced in the chest at the parade, b/c prior rinoa didnt like squall, and he was a dick for a good part of the game very stand offish, how she suddenly liked him and how the moombas came to being, and the crazy Shumi dude in tghe basement of ( a now out of nowhere flying college) along with the odd fact the head master now happens to reveal his marriage to Edea ,aswell as how conveniently all Squall, Zell, Selphie, and Irvine all come from the same orphanage, it seems as though his life is flashing befor him, and at the end the stuff he sees and the things ultimecia tells him, the blurred out faces ect, was almost a sure pointer to that he needed to face what happened to him that night in Deiling, i cant say its a fact though

wow , i guess ur right , i never beat the game 10 times, but its a very deep story out of the series, but, i figure it would be kinda cool, to find out in the end he was actually in a state of purgatory and in the end finnally facing death itself and finding acceptance as , the memories fade away of everything that happened befor the incident in Deiling, such as the blurred faces Rinoa looking like Ultimecia for a period, and all that strange mind twisting stuff Ultimecia tells Squall when you finish the battle, u kinda ask yoursef after the ending , like WTF wat the hell is going on. and thje end is very deep and riddled, makes me wonder and strongly believe in that unconfirmed state that he did die, when he even remarked how you "will they think of me this way, if i died" right after the event went he got a fuking razor sharp ice sharrd through him. and so much more supporting evidence , in fact since u played it 10 times u should know squall as the protagonist forebodes his own death in much of disc 1, and how little of a difference it would make if he were to die, its quite obvious, so much support that he in fact died, and i only beat the game 3 times, i think he died , but again i cant say for sure, its not confirmed, u could be right, but on the other hand i could be right , sooo , lets leave this a mystery . thats what made the game so ominous
