How on earth has this man not been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? It should have happened during his life time
Oh i so much agree with you! Already decades ago he deserved it. And even more today!
Probably because: 1) out of his entire Meat Loaf back catalogue, he's only co-written TEN songs. All the rest were written by someone else, Steinman in particular. 2) Because he didn't stop in time. His voice were very shaky around the Bat III album in 2006. Yet he continued to perform for another 10 years until 2016. They were able to work somewhat around it on studie albums, but hearing him live for the last 10 years were ROUGH!
I'm a Meat Loaf fan too, but not so much a fanboy that I can't face the facts and pretend it was all dandy.

@@nightgates9603 I think it's very well necessary. I see videos of Meat Loaf's OBJECTIVELY bad performances from later in his life and people with no pfps spam emojis and pretend like he's still got it. He most definitely did NOT have it past 2006, especially live.

She does it twice. Holds him up at 2.50. Yes he was exhausted, he started off singing sitting down for a quite some time, then got up. But yeah it was nice to her do that for him as she has known him for quite a few years and sees he wasn't in best health. ✌️
I saw him in 2010, front row center.& he still had IT. We miss you Meat. They gave my daughter the show set list.
meatloaf was supposed to live forever, the world is sadder place without his voice in it...........RIP Meatloaf, you will be missed.

Their voices are - of course - awesome (together) but the difference in age, plus knowing Meat Loaf as a much younger man, makes me just want to listen but not watch this performance. But there is nothing wrong with either performance. In fact, he sounds totally like he did when he was younger.
