@@gooutside6055 Thank you for your reply. I mean the egg tray. Because of the size of the goose egg for example being bigger and may not fit
@@thmastr632 ,,,, I’m not sure, I’m going to try and put turkey and goose eggs in our incubator. I think it will work.
how much water do u add at first????
,,,,, I don’t add any water on the first day.
I wait till day 2 and see what the humidity level is. Then I add a little bit ( 1/4 or 1/2 cup) and see if it goes up to 50 %
What's the humidity level gotta b for the results
@@somebomb1909 ,,,, humidity needs to be around 55% in the beginning. 75% few days. During hatching
Thnks
How was your success with the settings you chose, I have the same one and out of like 15 I only had 1 hatch out the others either died a couple days before or 2 weeks after starting the incubation period! I am also in cent tex
,,,, we have been getting about 70% hatch rate. It has been a bit harder with the cold weather lately. We just got 25 out of 38 duck eggs to hatch.
Is it hard to hatch duck eggs? I have been wanting to try but I've only done chicken eggs lol, will I need to do it separately from the chicken eggs?
@@elizabethbeard14 ,,,,it will be best to do it separately. Chickens hatch in 21 days and ducks in 28 days. It caused me problems when I tried it. I just started selling fertilized eggs on Etsy.
@@gooutside6055 ok thank you! 😊 my duck only lay 4 eggs a day anyways so I wanted to be sure before I tried it, nice to know someone else in cent tex has info I can use
@@gooutside6055 what is your etsy shop called?
Mine looks exactly like yours but i have to hold the (red blue arrow reset arrow) while holding the button, unplug power cord, replug the power cord then release button.
,,,, that sounds different. Thanks
How do I use it with chickens?
,,,, let it warm up to 37.5 or 38 . Start off with no water to see what the humidity will be. On the second day add a little bit of water to get humidity up to 50%. On the last three or four days add more water to get humidity up to 70%. Take the egg turner out on the last three days.

I have incubator like that ...but i can't understand to operate i...want slowly to show how to operate step by step..220v /80w 56 egg roller type
Do you know of a way to stabilize the humidity? I had humidity at 55% when I left for work and when I got home 9 hours later it was 22%. I know it needs to be stable. I haven't gotten eggs yet because I wanted to work out the kinks. So far I am finding it very difficult to maintain set points.
,,,,, I got something like this to help me know if the temperature and humidity is correct.
amzn.to/3ggBIAk
,,,,, I have two of these China incubators.
They work pretty good but one of them died from control board failure. The other is doing good except the humidity sensor is way off but it still hatches good.
I am trying this one now,, ( made in the USA) amzn.to/3zn2ZIz

How do you stop it from fluctuating temps? I cant get an even temp which is important for some eggs. It seems to do a 3 temp "phase"..... I've tried to set multiple times.. IT still does a gradual temp fluctuation.
,,,,the only change in temperature that I notice is when the temperature in the room changes and the incubator has a hard time keeping up.
But I do have one that started acting funny so I stopped using it. I haven’t found the problem yet. I’m sorry I’m not able to answer your question.
Put a blanket over it, it helps keep the temperature stable.
When I Plug my incubator in the little thermometer lights up and says that it’s warming and then all of a sudden it goes off and starts flashing fan and I cannot get it to warm what am I doing wrong
,,,,, it sounds like something is wrong with the fan. Maybe the wire is unplugged or the control board is bad. One of ours stopped warming properly. Bad board.
Did some one know whereI can get a new incubator monitor to replace the one I have
Amazon
I lost my manual can anyone say where I could locate one?
,,,,This incubator is from China so I don’t know how to find a manual.
I bought this last year. The alarm would not shut up no matter what you did. Of course that happened a few days into an egg cycle. I wanted to shoot myself by the end of it. Got a new incubator this year. Much to my horror, I saw a picture of the same one that almost drove me to suicide last year on the back page of other options. However so far this one has not tested the limits of my sanity. I kind of like it. Fingers crossed.
,,,, the alarm can be very annoying.
If it starts acting up just adjust the temperature alarm setting lower.
@@gooutside6055 yes I did that it doesn't matter it never shuts up it goes off constantly. It's currently out in my shed in a box. After reading the reviews, this horror show of a non turning off alarm is coming for this Chinese piece of garbage which is what it is in my opinion
@@PrisonPlanetRefugee ,,,, they are not the best but we have hatched hundreds with it.
We are now trying a Farm innovators incubator from tractor supply. It been ok so far.
@@gooutside6055 actually a neighbor friend of mine has had much success hatching with an incubator she bought from tractor supply last year. No attempted suicides. I believe those big yellow bus incubators are just hit or miss. I got a miss.
@@PrisonPlanetRefugee ,,,, our first incubator from tractor supply was a mistake, it didn’t have a fan or an egg turner. Lots of failure. We got the fancy one and it’s much better.
Why I can’ control the humidity, after I cleaned and disinfected don’t work, never set the humidity to the correct level
,,,,, I own two of these incubators . One stopped working and the other one has a humidity sensor problem. Mine never tells me the correct humidity level anymore. I just add a little water at first and on the last few days I add a lot. Cheap China stuff.

Hopefully everything else still works ok.
You could just write down what day you put the eggs in and count the days.
I bought an external temperature and humidity gauge to test the incubator
The EE symbol for egg tray, 32 eggs, appears

Something has been wrong with the humidity on this incubator sense I got it.

Sir, When I add water.. I mean, I set the humidity to 70 on the "AS" level.
What do I need to do to get the humidity above 70? When I put normal-cold water, the humidity indicator changes between 60-65. But I want to increase it to 70 or 75, how can I do that? Do I need to add hot or warm water to increase the humidity to 70-75?
,,,,,,, I believe that setting the humidity level is only for the alarm. It doesn’t actually control it. I normally add room temperature water. I rarely get the humidity above 70%. I try and keep it at 50% until the last 4 days and then add water to get it up to 70%
@@gooutside6055 I thought when I set "AS" to 70 it would automatically increase it to 70 itself :) Yes, I also add water to increase humidity, but it does not go up to 70. The water is slightly below room temperature as I am currently staying in the mountainous region. After heating the water in the kettle a little, when I added water, it went up to 70 for some minute. But after a while(3-4 hours), it went down to the normal 64-65 level again. Is it because the incubator didn't wear the styrofoam? What should be the average temperature of the room where the Incubator will be located? 18-25Celcius? By the way, I want to say thank you for your repond.
@@devran4169 ,,,,,, the humidity in your incubator will be effected by the outside humidity in your region. 65% may be the best you can get. I like to keep the incubator in 22 to 27 Celsius

I noticed my manual is different
Bro the humidity i set it at 58 but when i set it show 70 how can i decrease it ?
