Dang, I wish I could get you as my personal flexibility coach for 30 days. I can almost get the front splits, but the middle splits seem 10x as hard. I've been stretching for almost 2 years straight just to get THIS far! As a former weightlifter (now I only do calisthenics) my muscles were so tight that it was pathetic. In ways it started to age me prematurely. Cause I personally believe that you're only as 'young' as your flexibility. Anyway this inspired the heck outta me to keep pushing because even though you make it look easy, it HAD to be hard at some point in your life, and you pushed through the pain. So thanks! I gotta get those damn middle splits!!!!
Everybody has a leg that is more flexible and for middle splits is like do an normal split but with your both legs in it, so whatever you do w a normal split is twice harder on it
Thanks to this video I got my splits back after two days of stretching. I didn't realize all that tension was blocking my flexibility. Thanks for this!
Danggggg this vid helped so much, i was following along with it and managed to get my right leg splits and flat down in my left ! Also my leg holds are SO much higher than they were before this vid !!!!
Hands down the best routine I have ever stumbled across. For months now, I have done this routine and my flexibility skyrocketed!!! Before I could only do my left splits and was nowhere near flexible to do some of the things she does (the rolling over into the split killed me in the beginning). Now I can do everything she does (just not as graceful lol) thank you so much for this routine please make one for stretching out the back! I'll follow in a heartbeat!! 😍😍😍
The beautiful of your flexibility is that it looks so naturel that I decided to push on all exercices even knowing I've lost almost all my flexibility due to very hard problems in life that made me stop all fitnes activities for 5 years! I'm trying to finally start my fitness training again! Is very, very hard but with your help I was able to see some progress at the first time I did your class!! Thank you a lot!!!
Honestly such a good routine! I have tried so many follow along routines all over youtube, this one is definitely my favorite as you are so sweet and i especially love the fact you show how to relieve tension in muscles and it gets the basic stretches in as well! Thank you!

Enjoying these videos. I'm going to introduce my daughter to your workouts. Perfect for cross training and improving her strength when she goes on pointe!
Dear Tatiana, thank you so much for this wonderful video! So inspiring! May your blessings be countless, your joy be multiplied and your spirit soar! Love! Gérard
Omg, thank you so much, I love this video this is my new Daily routine! Thank you for taking your time and effort into making this incredible video, by the way, this has helped me a lot with stretching through Quarantine I feel more stretched than ever before! Keep trying your best, you are amazing! Have a blessed night, and thank you so much again! :)
Oh my goodness, your flexibility is so goooddd. And although I'm just a beginner, I'll start with this routine slowly. Hoping to improve my flexibility too! Again, thanks Tatiana. You're chill, gurlie
Danke! Institute of the Arts Barcelona. :) Ja auf meinem Kanal sind viele Tanzvideos von der Zeit. Das Tanzstudio das ich benutze ist von der Uni. Danke fuer dein Interesse! :)
I need stretches to get into these stretches. Also isn't it more beneficial to hold each stretch for at least 30 seconds and allow your breathe to open up the muscles?
I loved your video I will put it into practice I am a bellydance dancer but I love ballet .... Greetings from Venezuela I also follow you on Instagram ... THANK YOU
Thank you for doing it! I'm glad it helped you ! 😊 It's normal to be sore, but listen to your body. Don't push it too hard, especially if you are doing things your not used to. Good luck 💕✌️
Hi! Thank you ! But no, I don't work out with weights. Just because I don't own any and I don't have time or money to go to the gym. In dance we use our own body weight for strength training. :)
Tatiana sieht so schön und elegant aus, wenn sich sie sich so lang macht und strecht. Anmutig und grazil. Bin ganz hingerissen von dieser Posierlichkeit.
The stretch are great but the video is really messy. Like we can’t understand half of what she is saying and she change really quick between the stretch. It would have been great to have a little “bip” or a timer to help us.
I love these stretches but I agree there's too much of an echo to be able to clearly hear what she is trying to articulate. I bet a cheap little microphone to clip on her top would help a ton I hope these videos continue though!
This is dance. We don't use beeps and timers. In any case, the time is different for different people depending on everyone's ability and need, as she mentioned.
Jenna Hartman typically you hold stretches for about 30sec. After years of stretching you will have a deeper body connection and know what feels good and which stretches you need to hold a bit longer. So I just go with my intuition, and I like doing dynamic stretches which mean you don't "hold" a stretch, but ease into it with movement. Until you reach a deeper knowledge of your body I'd suggest holding about 30sec or until it hurts. Because it shouldn't be painful. Or try dynamic stretches(I do some in the video) thank you, hope this helps 😊
It works, I used to take dance classes and I had to do this stretching exercises but I did all of them on the floor because I was a beginner, it worked for me.
You probably mean a cramb? Its very common! Your muscles have to get used to the exercises first, take magnesium, drink enough water. And release the tension in your muscles and massage them after working out, and don't grip your muscles during the exercises. keep working but slowly and your legs will gain strength so it wont happen anymore :) hope this helps xx
this video is really good but it is almost impossible to follow along because of the sound combined with the speed. If the speed was the same but the sound good that would be fine but because the sound is so band I had to keep on looking up and in the end gave up
I definitely recommend this to 10/10
Great! Thank u! :D

Crypto Don Dada any updates on your splits??:)
I have the same problem with splits :(
Everybody has a leg that is more flexible and for middle splits is like do an normal split but with your both legs in it, so whatever you do w a normal split is twice harder on it

Thanks to this video I got my splits back after two days of stretching. I didn't realize all that tension was blocking my flexibility. Thanks for this!

I’m a dancer who dances five days a week this helps so much because I have a talent of flexibility
A talent of flexibility ? Me too but trust me you could always be more bendy which also applies to her.
At the beginning of quarantine I wasn't the tiniest bit flexible... Now I can do what she's doing in the title.. it just takes time! 🤗

It's normal to be sore, but listen to your body. Don't push it too hard, especially if you are doing things your not used to. Good luck 💕✌️

💖 thank u
Im incredibly flexible, i can do splits very easily but im even more flexible by back! The hard part is to keep being flexible
yes. its a habit, such as keeping fit and doing workouts. but its super important and so healthy for the body to stretch! :)
suuuuuuper
Not being a flexible dancer sucks so bad… imma do this everyday so wish me luck
Thank You 💜🦋🌻😘
Excellent, do you work out with weights? if so how much?
Hi! Thank you ! But no, I don't work out with weights. Just because I don't own any and I don't have time or money to go to the gym. In dance we use our own body weight for strength training. :)
Awesomeness
Excelente este video es único
Oh Tatianna ❤
You are too gorgeous!
This was lit (slang for excellent).
haha thank you x
Let me know if you ever dance in France; love to see you do your thing… kisses 😘
Man!
How do you do this!!
Tatiana sieht so schön und elegant aus, wenn sich sie sich so lang macht und strecht. Anmutig und grazil. Bin ganz hingerissen von dieser Posierlichkeit.
Is it oki if I get things wrong!! >_
The stretch are great but the video is really messy. Like we can’t understand half of what she is saying and she change really quick between the stretch. It would have been great to have a little “bip” or a timer to help us.
I understood it really well. Try using AirPods or sum
I love these stretches but I agree there's too much of an echo to be able to clearly hear what she is trying to articulate. I bet a cheap little microphone to clip on her top would help a ton I hope these videos continue though!
Watch Anna McNulty stretching routine
This is dance. We don't use beeps and timers. In any case, the time is different for different people depending on everyone's ability and need, as she mentioned.
You got eyes, just follow along till you able to do it. No need for rest if you wanna build your strength fast. She really good at it!!
I’m screen recording this to do this
What tipe of leg turn is the name in ballet and lyrical dance
How long do you generally hold things for?
Jenna Hartman typically you hold stretches for about 30sec. After years of stretching you will have a deeper body connection and know what feels good and which stretches you need to hold a bit longer. So I just go with my intuition, and I like doing dynamic stretches which mean you don't "hold" a stretch, but ease into it with movement. Or try dynamic stretches(I do some in the video) thank you, hope this helps 😊
Tatiana Rooney thanks so much! I’m a dancer and I’ve been looking for a daily stretching routine to follow. In love with your channel btw❤️
Awesome vid~ by the way have you considered wearing canvas ballet slippers / flats for these stretching routine videos?
Anri of Astora thank you! Well I could but I think this way you can see my feet muscles work better. Is there a reason why? Xx
I just think wearing dance shoes would look better for this kind of videos
It would make sense if I was in ballet gear I guess. But I often wear socks :)
Oh it must be cultural difference - we use ballet slippers for almost every dance related activities even like cheerleading
I want to do this (;
the best XD
Will this work for an old man?
does anyone know if this actually works
It works, I used to take dance classes and I had to do this stretching exercises but I did all of them on the floor because I was a beginner, it worked for me.
Maeru ok thanks i’m a dancer and i might try this to get splits faster i’m very close
This definitely works but you have to do it every day otherwise it’s really easy to lose progress
yes! it is amazing, so effective
What if you get a spasm when you stretch and point your toes?
You probably mean a cramb? Its very common! Your muscles have to get used to the exercises first, take magnesium, drink enough water. And release the tension in your muscles and massage them after working out, and don't grip your muscles during the exercises. keep working but slowly and your legs will gain strength so it wont happen anymore :) hope this helps xx
@@TatianaRooney great advice !
this video is really good but it is almost impossible to follow along because of the sound combined with the speed. If the speed was the same but the sound good that would be fine but because the sound is so band I had to keep on looking up and in the end gave up
Just pause the video.
omlll. im jussst learning how to dance and i can't even reach my feet for that first stretch xD
