    Dang, I wish I could get you as my personal flexibility coach for 30 days. I can almost get the front splits, but the middle splits seem 10x as hard. I've been stretching for almost 2 years straight just to get THIS far! As a former weightlifter (now I only do calisthenics) my muscles were so tight that it was pathetic. In ways it started to age me prematurely. Cause I personally believe that you're only as 'young' as your flexibility. Anyway this inspired the heck outta me to keep pushing because even though you make it look easy, it HAD to be hard at some point in your life, and you pushed through the pain. So thanks!
    I gotta get those damn middle splits!!!!

      Everybody has a leg that is more flexible and for middle splits is like do an normal split but with your both legs in it, so whatever you do w a normal split is twice harder on it

    Hands down the best routine I have ever stumbled across. For months now, I have done this routine and my flexibility skyrocketed!!! Before I could only do my left splits and was nowhere near flexible to do some of the things she does (the rolling over into the split killed me in the beginning). Now I can do everything she does (just not as graceful lol) thank you so much for this routine please make one for stretching out the back! I'll follow in a heartbeat!! 😍😍😍

    The beautiful of your flexibility is that it looks so naturel that I decided to push on all exercices even knowing I've lost almost all my flexibility due to very hard problems in life that made me stop all fitnes activities for 5 years! I'm trying to finally start my fitness training again! Is very, very hard but with your help I was able to see some progress at the first time I did your class!! Thank you a lot!!!

    How long do you generally hold things for?

    • @TatianaRooney
      @TatianaRooney  6 лет назад +4

      Jenna Hartman typically you hold stretches for about 30sec. After years of stretching you will have a deeper body connection and know what feels good and which stretches you need to hold a bit longer. So I just go with my intuition, and I like doing dynamic stretches which mean you don't "hold" a stretch, but ease into it with movement. Until you reach a deeper knowledge of your body I'd suggest holding about 30sec or until it hurts. Because it shouldn't be painful. Or try dynamic stretches(I do some in the video) thank you, hope this helps 😊

    What if you get a spasm when you stretch and point your toes?

    • @TatianaRooney
      @TatianaRooney  3 года назад +1

      You probably mean a cramb? Its very common! Your muscles have to get used to the exercises first, take magnesium,drink enough water. And release the tension in your muscles and massage them after working out, and don't grip your muscles during the exercises. keep working but slowly and your legs will gain strength so it wont happen anymore :) hope this helps xx

    this video is really good but it is almost impossible to follow along because of the sound combined with the speed. If the speed was the same but the sound good that would be fine but because the sound is so band I had to keep on looking up and in the end gave up
