I stumbled upon a lot of ballet videos on youtube and i am quite fascinated. I hope that with starting stretched and getting more flexible, i could start ballet myself some day (once i get over my social anxiety and the fear of being too old)
I've just started ballet again! If you've got anxiety over it I suggest first doing the little routines on youtube and working your way up to it that's what i'm doing! (and you're never to old!)
As someone who started ballet at three and has been doing it my whole life, the only reassurance I can offer you is that there is NO judgment on our part! Only admiration
I stiffened up terribly at about 40. I'm doing these every day, x3. I'm slowly finding progress. I can't do the stretches like you can, but I do what I can and it's getting better and better. Thank you.
I've been looking for many legs exercises for my weak thighs muscles and caused bad knee. And i remembered how many ballerina using their legs strength. This so easy to follow and just like flow yoga. I will check your other videos hopefully it can help my daily routine exercises.
I just recently started ballet as an adult beginner..and i feel so embarrassed in class since im very inflexible, hope these stretches will help with my flexibility 😅
From some of the comments some people are definitely saying they help keep up the work I’m not in a class Im doing at home stuff before I go to a real class 🥰 also an adult beginner
So many Hatha Yoga Asana, poses that is. Of great to see Yoga being validated as the ideal way to keep the body supple, and so important to be the safe and effective method for this demanding art form of ballet
I haven’t done ballet since I was a kid I’m 18 now and fell back in love with it so I’m starting with stretches before I join up because I lost most of it. I know I will die in class if I don’t get it back lol
Hey! I’m so happy your getting back into ballet! I’m a little biased but I love it haha I really hope your progression goes well and if you want to have a video call some time to go over the steps to get back to dance please let me know ☺️ (this is not a sales pitch just want to help anyone get back into dance however I can) have a great day! hii i would love to talk about getting into dance since i live in an area where i cannot find any studio neither a teacher so what should i do about it i really love ballet but i am lost
@@ragnarkistenyes of course, any piece such as swan lake also has many male roles, so it is just fine for males to practice as well. everyone can do ballet!
I am not kidding, its been 3 DAYS! Ive seen results with these! I was able to stretch more and go lower down! Thank you for this!

@@DreyNova I’m 13 and I joined ballet and it was so hard for me so I quit and I’m thinking of joining again
You can never be to old.
I went to ballat once and there were like ten grown ups there.
i’ve been a ballerina most of my life and ever since this video came out i’ve been using it as my go to stretch routine. I love it so much!!

the best yet!! thx miss yelena!!
Aww thank you so much ❤️🌷
I can't even do that first stretch! 😬😭
you don’t have to go all the way down yk.. just go as far down as you can and that is comfortable for you :)
Like the comment below, you just find your own level of stretch and follow along from there. Each movement can be modified 🌸
A couple of sips of wine will help, getting buzzed will loosen you up.
That’s what I thought too but it gets better with practice! Her videos are great
@julesriviello5286 aww that’s amazing to see. Thanks 😎❤️
YAS QUEEN!! That felt great!!
awesome!!!
Thanx! I love a good stretch!
Thanks so much, I’ve been trying to be more flexible!
This was great! Thanks!
Aww thanks. 😊
Mind sharing where you bought your ballet barre? It’s beautiful and looks well made. Thanks!
Aww thank you ❤️. It is actually costume made, my husband designed it for me. I have few for sell but only in Melbourne, Australia.

La rutina es bonita y está bien. Agradecería subtítulos en la parte superior para mejor visión de los ejercicios
Muchas gracias ❤️. Los subtítulos son automáticos yo no los puedo editar 🥺
i use this to kick higher
I just realised how hard my stretching routine is
it does not need to be hard, just enough for you to feel the work!!! keep the hard work.

谢谢你😊
I wish I could put on leotard and tights and follow along, but unfortunately I am a male!😞
@@ragnarkisten males also do ballet, why not follow along? 😆

Aaaaaaa my legss
In french
je suis trop raide pour commencer les étirements par un penché en avant les jambes tendues 😂
then take your time, stretch too your own level, keep bend knees, and stop where you feel the stretch, hold for no longer than 30 seconds at a time.
