Everything about this, the sirens, the lights, very nearly the paint (very much so for Kirkwood) just feels right. I grew up hearing those sirens, seeing blue and red lights, and watching white and red (and sometimes florescent yellow) engines fly by. Of course that was in the Midwest, where they still do it. Nice to see they aren't the only ones.
Q Sirens on Abulances go way back to the 1940s the Q on them today are about 15% THE EQ2B about 30% City of Chicago FD as it on all of it fire fleet and ambulances of the EQ2B and as well as FDNY Fire trucks and Whelen Sirens take about 2/3 of the majority of the sirens what coming around are the Eagle Siren like in Wasukesha, WI , Burbank, Cal, and also in New Orelans EMS WHICH they have the Whelen 295 and Excutor Sirens which i love and also the Carson Sirens and Fazer Sirens as well
@@firemedic916 I know that giving a Example They Have a Whelen Excutor my Buddy Used it for the Louisville EMS. For me Personally I hate the EQ2B Most Arby's EMS USES Whelen, Carson and Phaser or where I Live here in Minneapolis they Have Whelen 295 for Hennepin County EMS/ HCMC WHICH I GOT to Ride in
@Derrick Pittsburgh Steelers Higgins, I loved what you mentioned, and those are all correct!l I hear everything the lovely Q sirens, which I love screaming Q way more then EQ. I know most of the sirens: Wail, yelp, phaser. My favorites are the dual sirens. The FVFPD stations(Florissant Valley Fire Protection District). They use the Screaming Q and mostly the dual sirens!! They love all the horn rigs. They make the loudest responses.
Same complex as the St. Louis City Fire Academy. Police academy right across the street and City Hall catty-corner. Engine House 2, originally home to the 14 and 24's circa 1929.
You should come to university city and record our fire department responding, we have a very active fire department...speaking of University City we are getting a new sutphen pumper that should be in service soon
Wasn't expecting Kirkwood, Clayton, St.Charles, and even Valley Park but I cant complain.
Yeah I stayed right across the street from st Charles station 1. It was sweet

Never seen a real Q siren on an ambulance before that’s a first!

There rare but there out there
@@Steelers2841 FDNY EMS and NOEMS do not use the EQ2B. FDNY EMS use the PS400, and NOEMS uses a Whelen electronic siren with a mechanical setting.

The fire house at St Louis station 2 is really a work of art.
Great compilation of rigs👍
I love the spartan’s siren that’s why my local department has
SPARTANN'S has eq2b Pierce's for MFD(Minneapolis ) has the Whelen as the main Siren then EQ2B as the back up for Intersections
Did I see a Central County at the beginning
Great video!

Q sirens on ambulances? I like it! I like St. Charles’ paint scheme.
Kirkwood had the Q
On the Ambulance. Like the Q Better than the EQ2B
@@Steelers2841 I think I do too. Back before Littleton and South Metro merged, Littleton Medic 16 had the EQ2B siren.
I live there I love them
Interesting pump configurations on the St. Louis engine companies.
Yeah I love in st.Louis and I never understood it
A great video
