I’m not sure about other countries or where you are from, but if you’re from the US and you know it already, drivers on the road (especially in towns or the city) are supposed to pull over to the right to let a paramedic, a police cruiser, or a fire truck through as it is the law especially if someone gets into a car accident, or has a heart attack, or if there’s a fire, or a robbery of a corporate business. So these emergency services have to haul ass down the road to get to that person or persons in need as a response to the call of the emergency number; otherwise these people are in trouble or worse. Drivers need to show consideration for the emergency vehicles by letting them through in order to do their jobs while they risk their lives to respond to those calls.

@@MsDoItAll82 It’s short for whatever the unit is referred to in Spanish. For example the engines are labeled ‘M’ for machina. I am not sure what AR stands for, but the Ford was a kind of rapid intervention/ light rescue vehicle, and possibly for off-road terrain.

I believe you’re talking about the Abbotsford Police Charger. They were there because it was a procession for a police officer who was killed in the line of duty. VPD, RCMP, APD, New Westminster PD, Transit Police and other agencies were all present.
I don’t exactly what it was. All police units seemed to converge on a gas station near Burrard and Davie. My guess would be that an officer requested immediate assistance, or a weapons call.
