It's fascinating how some places have the attitude of "two spinning beacons is good enough" and other places have the attitude of "but what _is_ the limit to the number of lights you can affix to an apparatus?"
Well said! There’s a surprising amount of ‘cultural differences’ when it comes to lights and sirens around the world! 😄 On the other hand there are also places where they simply have to use what’s available to them, and cannot afford to add a ton of brand new LEDs. Not to say that they cannot still be effective in their own way. I find all this very interesting to see and document.

I find it weird that the Fire Trucks & Ambulances in China don't have the same color lights.
Thanks! Hmm yea, they generally tend to use blue lights for ambulances in China and all red, or red and blue for fire and police. It’s also similar in other parts of the world though, for instance in Turkey.

I don’t, but it may be a product from Finland.
I know an example of it is a. Hi lo siren ,but I don't know the exact model (if you like sirens try downloading some fire truck apps ,etc on your phone if you have one or maybe other ones)

We got Italy, France, Sweden, Malta, Germany; Hong Kong and Singapore twice; USA three times; Canada divided into FIVE SEGMENTS (not complaining, pretty nice tho)... Where Poland??? I'll be waiting this year!
Sorry, but I think you did not read the message in the introduction of the video, nor the description. These videos are all filmed by me, one person. I’d love to get videos from every single country in the world, but it takes some time, money and effort. I have not been to Poland yet, but I’m hoping to add it to my collection soon!

Yes, but it’s not a hybrid. The diesel motor is just a backup generator that recharges the battery.
So here’s a funny thing, at my department, we actually just got Burnaby’s old ladder 3 rig. It’s on in metric so it a bit of a learning curve but thought after seeing this, thought it would be interesting

I suggest some from Chile - they have firetrucks from all over the world, all with different colors/colours and lights and sirens. Also the police there is Green, and their lights are red and green.

As it says in the video introduction and description, all videos are recorded by me.
The only exception in this case are the clips from Malta, which were filmed by my family members.

29:41 I NEVER KNEW VANCOUVER PD HAD A NYPD SIREN
Many of their cars now use this siren (unfortunately because I prefer the old siren). It’s not just an “NYPD siren” though, that siren is used by many agencies around North America.

What the heck where was the chief going in the l 4 engine 54 clip that he went the opposite direction of the engine and ladder crew
Apparently they have pre-planned fire attack strategies in place for certain buildings, as different trucks need to set up in different locations and can choose to approach from several roads. The chief was pretty much taking a shortcut to do an initial assessment and set up command.
The other benefit of taking different routes in New York City can be that there will be less likelihood of all the units getting stuck in traffic (it’s really jammed all the time…).

Can’t do much driving when there’s traffic blocking everything and nobody tries to give way. They could be more aggressive in their siren use though.
A lot of the international emergency don’t really have light visitliblity on the sides and don’t really have wig rigs on the headlights or taillights

I believe it is made by Federal Signal, but I don’t know the exact model. The siren was on the ‘Powercall’ tone.
