My head on my weed eater has been acting up. It will not spin, then I can start it again later and it will spin/cut for a while then stop. Today I was weed eating for about 7 hours and it made a strange noise then quit won't work/spin at all. Can I just order the head or do you think it's something else? I've had it for four years.
The head on mine spins while it's running but not a controlled spin. It's like something busted and just slowly spins. Do you think I could just replace the head like you did and that would work? Thanks for the video
I put a newer head on and I didn’t put the metal plate on and I can’t get it off. It just sounds like it’s running normal but the wires don’t spin just sounds like it’s working and this is my works weedwacker. Shoulda just waited for my boss tmrw lol. What do I do.

I'd try greasing the bearing at the end and a new head

How do you remove the face? Do you align both sides and press on both sides?
Yes, that is correct, push on the tabs
May have to use a flathead,screw driver to pop tab, pull it up, pop other side.. It comes,off.. Pretty strong to depress by finger

They do snap in but everything is worn, super glue really helps to keep them there
