The moment Ben realizes how much of an icon and ambassador he is for these fair isles. Brilliant to see a tour of our own country in your unique style. Now to work your way back from Scotland down the east of the country down to Kent?
How about a follow up from Kent to Hampshire then straight up to Aberdeen throught the middle of the country and back down in zig-zag fashion. That would be so good.
Many thanks to the two Benjamins for this classic tour of the UK. It brings back fond memories of the time when I lived in the country as a German expat. I live in England and I've spent half my life in England. I have no problem with that. That little clip in Merthyr and that guy is what I love about Wales even more than its stunning landscape. The people of Wales are amongst the most friendly people in the world and by far in the British Isles. The Valleys have seen hard times but a bloke like Bald could walk into a cruddy local pub and be treated like family.
It's a shame so much was crammed into one episode, it seemed so rushed. I've just spent 2 months travelling around Scotland in the motorhome and only really saw the main bits of the north coast route. You could have made a whole series travelling our native lands. Enjoyed it immensely, please make more :)
@@HaiLsKuNkY Yes I have. I've lived and travelled around lots of the UK. Clearly you don't get out too much. I've also lived and worked in three other European countries. If I can make an analogy, the UK is like a less than impressive model village in comparison with Europe.
This was rather like teleporting across the country, wasn't it! ;p~ You did well spending a couple of months on the (revised) NC500, kudos -- the original missed out even more and even then there are all the islands (about 12,000 miles of coastline for Scotland alone) and plenty to see "off route". Too many people just want a whistle-stop tour of the "highlights" which leaves most of the country with near-zero tourists; as for here in the NE corner, multiple castles/ruins on the doorstep, 15 miles of sandy beach North, rugged sea cliffs & birds & Dracula's castle (not Whitby) South, extensive forests and backcountry to explore, etc. Good travelling! p.s. Timing helps; as with yourself do the West before "midge season". The East is fine during that. ; )

4:45 wooo SCOUSER REPRESENT. i'd love to see a video of bald just going to liverpool and vibing with our peeps for a bit
A 50 minutes video of Bald and Bankrupt feels like a gift, and i haven't even seen it yet. Thanks for the videos man, they are amazing👍
I’m Welsh and live in North Wales, I honestly think you need to come here Ben if you truly want to see a beautiful part of our country. Don’t visit Wales your friend said 🙄 as soon as you’ve been to North Wales it’s almost guaranteed you’d come back. And if you need any Welsh lessons Ben, hit me up 😉😂
God help our reputation if he visits Rhyl.
@@AnthonyJerome Rhyl, Prestatyn and Mold. What a triptych of misery.
No idea why he went to Merthyr. If he wanted Welsh speakers he should have gone to Carmarthenshire or North Wales.
Abersoch
The holy land of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll and on and on!
Thank you for beeing you, thank you for your videos, thank you for making me feel good when i need it the most, countless times.
It's a shame so much was crammed into one episode, it seemed so rushed. I've just spent 2 months travelling around Scotland in the motorhome and only really saw the main bits of the north coast route. If it wasn't for the weather Britain would be the perfect tourist destination, thousands of miles of coastline and thousands of years of well presented, preserved and documented history. You could have made a whole series travelling our native lands. Enjoyed it immensely, please make more :)
Not really worth the effort. Compared with travelling in Europe everything is smaller, less impressive and, well, dull.
@@PurityVendetta what a bleak outlook to traveling you have
@@PurityVendetta no, have you ever been to places like the Isle of Skye? Britain h
Is amazing just as Europe is amazing
@@HaiLsKuNkY Yes I have. I've lived and travelled around lots of the UK. Clearly you don't get out too much. I've also lived and worked in three other European countries. All were fundamentally more geographically and architecturally interesting than the cold, rainy and small UK. If I can make an analogy, the UK is like a less than impressive model village in comparison with Europe.
This was rather like teleporting across the country, wasn't it! ;p~
You did well spending a couple of months on the (revised) NC500, kudos -- the original missed out even more and even then there are all the islands (about 12,000 miles of coastline for Scotland alone) and plenty to see "off route".
The East is fine during that. ; )
Amazing video , one of your best 👏🏻 buckfast at the end 😂😂 would love to see you do more of the uk 🇬🇧 stay safe mate ❤️💙
Another classic Bald video. Love the scenes of the ocean and seaside towns. Its amazing to think that some 13,000 years ago, Britain was connected to mainland Europe.
they had an old school brexit
Doggerland and the east fens were all swampland which were drained for agriculture. I really wish we still had all the wetlands.
"It's an absolute shithole" - pretty much any local anywhere in the UK 🤣
Really enjoyed this one! I'm from America but have always had a great love for the UK and will visit one day.
@MrsT thanks so much!
