Love the video❤️ I just started my print-on-demand journey and found Crafted Threads. They have a ton of designs and it saved me so much time. They have something in every niche. And lifetime updates too!!
I respect you for Ryan for using the conservative figure of $100 / month. As you know many of the etsy RUclips "gurus" would be claiming that you can earn many 1000s of dollars per month [NET or GROSS?] which might be possible for a tiny percentage of sellers after a long term dedication but not for most average sellers just starting out. You, unlike most of the "gurus" are being honest and realistic.
Ryan, you mentioned the possibility of doing a video about hats. I think many of us (especially people like me who don't wear or know much about hats) would benefit from that.

Printful print provider wants a max pixel dimension size of 7500 x 10, 000 to cover all it's poster sizes. That size image with "optimize quality" will not download from Kittl as JPG. Looks like you downloaded as PNG? Will PNG download work from Kittl with 7500 x 10,000 pixel dimensions or do we have to do PDF download from Kittl?--and if so will PDF work for Printful + Etsy? I can't find any etsy youtube tutorials addressing this crucial issue with creating POD posters for Printful + Etsy. THANK YOU Ryan.

Do the mockups include the frame? When I went on Printful I didn't see the ability to add a frame to posters. Like your video.

Really good tutorial but I went onto kittl to try it out in the free account and the image of tower bridge was awful on ai in the free version. So you think the upgraded version would make the difference ?
When you save AI poster designs, which format is better? SVG or PNG or PDF? I did a picture and ordered a sample that was 300 dpi png and you could see all the pixels in a large print.

Hello Ryan, love your videos and just subscribed to your channel. I opened an Etsy account a month ago and they immediately after opening the account suspended it permanently. I appealed it and they reinstated my account saying they made a mistake. I spent some time learning more about Etsy and its policies, so I would comply and right after posting my t-shirt mockup they suspended it again and have not given me any reason or replied to my emails. I'm so frustratred with the way they work that I don't want to deal witht them anymore. I love your poster idea, and would like to pursue that. Can I sell posters anywhere else or another marketplace with good profit besides Etsy? Another question, I have an account with Printify. Can I use Printify instead of Printiful for my poster mockups? Now, that I just found you and subscribed to your channel, I'm going to spend some time checking them out. Thanks again!

Ryan if you have 9 x16 what do you have to do to make bigger pictures that will not come out blurry or grainy? Or am I thinking to much in photography? I get mixed up with the numbers 3000 x 3000 (number stuff)

I'm not for doing this commercially with ANY easily identifiable place because AI WILL get some part wrong.
As beautiful as they are the final result is not a true representation of the place. In more generic use, sure, any scene that can't be identified by landmarks is fine.
Make an image for a place you've been to and you'll see that AI won't get it right. Heck the person has to choose from 4 images so it's already obvious that it's not a true representation.
I've been curious on how AI will be used to profit from it, and you are doing exactly what I've wanted to do, but just don't have the funds:'(
I would buy custom or multi-colored borders for the posters, then get some type of flexible see through plastic/plexiglass or even real glass (for more expensive ones) then box'em up neat with a poster Styrofoam protecter that keeps the poster kind of floating but still protected.

You could definitely do that. Just upload your design and put it in instead of the AI design. I think there will always be a market for original designs.

For a lot of us, yep (I can diversify, but others can't, and won't). Or decimate the artists' market, making it very hard to be sustainable.

You could visit one of the sites that offers POD blankets, look to see what the size requirements are for a blanket design, and then make your design that size.
