Where many ballistic apps fall down is the developers don't know that many shooters who use meters for range and Mills for aiming still use imperial fps for bullet velocities . A good app should have flexibility of choice directly on each input not some overriding setting that changes things to what you don't want .
Nice video. At 2:17 I would like to add that in the options menu you can manually input the reference size (not just the units) . For instance I have set it to 2.5cm.

the impact mark is set by the calibre you choose, either the calibre is wrong or the 1inch reference is wrong

Sure does! Just treat it like any other firearm, it is only measuring the holes in the paper
