    I think it's good it's a little wild, in a baseball game, the pitcher won't pitch at the exact same place, they might even peg you.

    Awesome!! Hey I was thinking you should use those adjustable sliding poles on each side the ones that have the button you push in to raise up or down. That would definitely help with accuracy and things. Cheers

    The only problem with the machine is the feeder. Everything else is awesome. But that feeder is snagging the ball. That's why it's not accurate. Just move the feeder so the ball hits the top of the wheel.
    If you are looking at the wheel like a clock, the ball is hitting around 10. You want it to hit near 12 or just a little bit before. Plus the ball doesn't need that much metal to travel along. It only needs about 1/3 of that. But otherwise, this is a nice machine. I'm guessing it's top speed is around 70 or 80. If you said in the video, I missed it. But you could make and sell it. Regular machines are in the thousands now.

    Hey there, You know I was quite surprised myself on how accurate it shot ball's too
    My first attempt when I was compressing the ball's through the shot I was measuring 60 -63 meter's so the balls were landing very close to each other.
    Cheers

    lower the tire pressure to get it to grab the ball better and then spring load the upper track to hold it better and that would do well.

      I guess you could do that if you had the money and no ambition to try and do something for yourself.. from what I am seeing, someone is trying to do something on a budget and be a little creative in the process. I support that. We need more skilled tradesmen who are willing to learn something new.

    This is true to the method of building one, however the tire wheel is a flaw you need a concave. Perhaps a rim.

    • @nicholastrigilio2306

      Dan Ryan You do realize a real pitcher isn’t perfectly accurate either. I’m sure they can tweak it a bit and get it to where it needs to be. If you are afraid of that quit baseball because unless you’re 10 all pitchers exceed 40mph and honestly how bad do you think that would hurt?

    Needs a square surface tire rather than a rounded one. Would pitch more consistent with a flat tread tire.... Scary as hell though lol

  • @AFTepes
    @AFTepes 11 лет назад

    the tire must be without shapes in oder to get more control of the pitch.. and actually there are special machine baseballs cuz the normal baseball's threads can make the machine throw without control... so in short: a very old tire without shapes and special baseball (without shapes) for machine use

    OMG, Dude, I'm dying laughing here, I swear the Three Stooges could have used that prop, three balls hit the ground, one sailed over the fence, one hit the top of the fence, and the other would have sprayed a hitter. I can see a Little League'r parents suing the coach for using that. With that said, I think you're a heck of great guy for trying. Someone to create such a thing has got to be a heck of a guy. I'm telling you, I enjoyed the video and I'm saving this for sports my staff tomorrow.
