    I built one of these based on your design...used what wood I had so my frame is a little different...For my metal ramp on the end of PVC pipe I used one of those metal pieces you use to hang a garden hose on...works good...thanks for your ideas

    Do you have approximate measurements. Like length of the pipe, if angles play a big part... I mean obviously I'll mess around with it as I'm building it but... If I can be a little lazy and get those tips that were already figured out... Might as well!!!

    How did the rotisserie upgrade work?

      Worked well, took a couple versions of the wheel to get the timing right.

    how did you make the tee ?

    • @larrydallmann6527
      @larrydallmann6527  3 года назад +1

      That tee was is pipe inside a pipe threaded to an pipe flange base bolted to an old lamp weight. The friction (white) between the inner pipe and outer pipe is a table leg rubber stop to adjust the height. The tee top is a rubber replacement top from Amazon. I have upgraded the base to a 3” concrete slab made the dimensions of a home plate. It is now quite heavy but no need for me to use it.

    what did you use for that end piece to flip the ball up

    • @larrydallmann6527

      I used a thin strip of metal and two part epoxy to a 3-ring binder divider

      What do you mean with the ramp thing? How’d you make it with those materials??

      @@kaylabennett4913 The black ramp that that "pops" the ball up in the air into the strike zone to be hit. I used a 1/2 inch wide strip of 1/8 inch thick metal I had laying around. I shaped it with a hammer and block of wood and then glued a 3 ring binder divider trimmed with a scissors to the approx. length. then I used vice grips to hold it to the shape of the metal when I applied two part epoxy to attach it to the metal. The remaining 2-3 inches was then screwed to a 2x4 block under the bottom of the green pipe. When dry and full attached I needed to make slight bends to the ramp to get consistent ball flips into the strike zone. I hope this helps.
