  • I bought the world's cheapest real ball pitching machine! For just $160, can this machine live it up to its advertising? This review of the pitching machine will cover set up, portability, velocity, auto feeder and battery pack.

Been wanting to finally get a pitching machine. Honestly mostly for my own personal fun etc..I'm 44, so don't play on a team etc..But still love the game and, at least playing for fun. My son kind of likes it too. But definitely not as much as me, haha..Had seen this on amazon..added to a list. And figured I'd check a review or two on here. Really like your video on it! I have a few Bluetti solar batteries/generators that are 2000WH. So they'd for sure run this for a while for my son and I. The other feeder you put up a pic of. That will work and feed fine on this machine? Thanks again for doing the vid on this!

I wonder if like he said being plugged into a regular outlet would allow the motor a better power supply to spin faster because I haven’t tried mine yet, but it just showed up today and it sounds like it’s spinning way more aggressively but then again it could just be lost in the video

The one I have wouldn’t throw accurate at all, like 2 out of 10 were good. The speed of the machine would get faster without touching the setting. I actually lost it on it one day because I was tired of setting it up to have it not work right. I ended up throwing it and smashing it with a bat and it wouldn’t break and it upset me more, so threw it in the woods and it went down a little cliff with rocks. I ended up retrieving it, because that would be a waste of money and I could donate it to a local baseball team.
The poles were all bent, but the plastic housing didn’t have anything wrong with it, it’s very durable. I fixed the poles and put it back together. After the beating it took, it now throws 9 out of 10 good pitches, the speed doesn’t fluctuate, and works better than ever.
I don’t condone this violence for anyone.

Thank you. Hoping to find something under $300 for my 9 year old son to get him ready for travel. We need to upgrade from the Skilz soft toss launcher.

How long were you able to run the machine with the 300w battery?

We just bought the spinball wizard 2 wheel.. it works good when all goes smoothly but the ball gets caught in the shoot because it isn’t at the right angle. Maybe we should of started with this machine 😞 haha

Not sure what state you live in but if you ever are in Arizona, I have a pitching machine and can throw live AB’s if you’re interested. Great content

now that it has been a year. How has it held up using real baseballs? Heater sports sells balls specifically for this machine, and even says not to use real balls as it will damage the machine. But I just want to know if it has held up?

I bought one last season. Mine was very in accurate when throwing real leather baseballs. Also the instructions say to use real leather balls if you use baseballs but thry warn you not to use them because there is higher risk of injury. This machine destroys the leather on the baseballs, too. Stick to the hitting machine dimpled balls.

You could probably get about an hour and a half of running this off the 200WH one. About 2 and a half hours with the 300WH. Hope that helps? If you plan to use this for a bit longer. I very HIGHLY recommend buy like a 500WH or 600WH Bluetti. They are super good quality solar generators/batteries. They have a lot longer lifecycle/charges for the battery inside. On average, Bluetti's lifecycle is like 3X's as much as Ecoflow or Jackery. I have several Bluetti one's. 2 big one's and one 500WH which is the AC50S model. That one is pretty cheap, has a lot of power for it's size. Will last years for charging.

Just found two in a dumpster. If it has the bicycle looking wheel inside it will lob them about 5 feet. If it has the pitching machine style wheel nothing at all.
