They decided to release patch notes 1 day early - season 13 actually begins TOMORROW (Tues October 15 at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 6pm UTC). But here I summarized all the important notes for you
i love it when blizzard made ramattra say "SUFFER, AS I HAVE" indicating that i will indeed suffer as he has considering one of my favorite tanks just got gutted.
Ramattra's WHOLE power dynamic is around his nemesis form. Taking a significant part of it away (piercing barriers) takes out a huge part of what made the character special in the first place.
Bro idk why y all crying but this thing is so busted.162.5 damage per pummel is insane, you 4 shot a winston bubble. Considering the heroes who have barriers, I think this is def a buff
@@loleoita2819I’m excited to try busting sigma shields and Winston bubbles but punching on rein while he cowers behind a shield was one of the best parts of playing ramm. Now you gotta waste 10 punches just to break Reinhardt shield
How do you think Sombra mains feel. Like, how the fuck are we actually supposed to play her now. Who gives a fuck if taking damage doesn't break stealth if it only lasts 5 seconds any way. God. What the fuck are these changes.
@@revan3270 It's lazy, they could've at least made it look natural. It just looks out of place. It should be inside the room and make those doors at the top the elevator.
The ram punch change feels like it was a solution to an issue that didn’t exist. I’ve never seen anyone get that upset at his punches, you just had to not rely on the barrier in close range fights, but it was still really good at blocking his staff. It also just doesn’t make sense because melee attacks are supposed to go through barriers, and it’s also a part of his identity, this whole “I prefer tactical precision” aspect of his character. We can’t make it a standard that the frustrations of people who don’t know how the game works should be able to have this much influence over the balancing of the game.
Thinking in cold the Ram change will only very noticeable against Rein, a hero whis is in a very bad state and who was hard countered by Ram. I mean, Sym and Maugas shield are ultis and very situational (beig this an indirect buff to sym, another heroe on a bad state), Brig shield will be destroyed on 2 punches, Winston shield will be destroyed very quick and ram still has a very good hability against him, and Sigma yea, maybe Ram now can be worse against him, but a good sigma uses the shield not obly to protect the team, but also to block heals and block sniper angles, so, it's not always on frontline.
@@yomismo2689Rein isn’t even bad rn, mauga is able to be beaten if you have a good Ana. And orisa has such long cds you can play rein into her without being guaranteed a loss. Ram was his only real counter this season. Nerfing him was not needed, and they took away one of the only things he was known for as well.
There was no greater joy than diving and punching a LifeWeaver through his petal platform, or pressuring a Rein who overextended and is relying on his shield, or slamming supports who are being body/shield blocked by their tanks. But now that whole aspect of his character is just gone.
@@unknownscientist1530 Legit his whole gimmick was his piercing of shields, does blizzard add cool balanced stuff to just remove it. What the hell is the point of a shield hero buster who’s melee if they cant pressure tanks with shields. He’s a hero whose melee form could damage through shields. Which is fair. Why would they change him?
i feel like his punches were too strong through shields but without hes too weak, so surely a damage reduction would have been better (through shields). However now he'll be better at killing squishies so more ignore other tank playstyle or at least ignoring rein sig
Hack - bad Pummel - bad Suzu - still good, but making it bad Everything about Symm that was unique - bad, gone The community won't be happy until every game is Soldier, Soldier (but diff color scheme), Reinhardt (with a small shield, and an assault rifle), Ana (but assault rifle instead of bolt action, and her healing in an AoE), and Lucio maybe, but no healing aura.
@@MasterMemo Bro, they destroyed Sombra. I just picked her up to play this season cause she was so fun. Not looking forward to the next season at all now.
@@MomsterGirl They forgot that the other flankers have 2 movement skills and hit like a truck up close plus more hp. Now we have a glass cannon without the cannon that has to hit with a dot and get all shots in and hope to live until translocator comes off cooldown. Pathetic blizzard.
i mean i hate ram, but i hate him because of how much armor he has and how stupidly broken his block is, the fact it makes pulsebomb do like 70 damage to him is absurd, not to mention just trying to shoot his block, your whole team takes like 10 seconds to kill even that especially when hes getting healed... punching through shield was a unique counterplay option to shield tanks so im not sure why that was what got changed instead
@@staarfall5317 for real, they just made her entire kit useless, she is now just a throwpick. And that rammatra change is also stupid. Pure brainrot over blizzard
"We are buffing Hanzo because we had buffed Hanzo". I fully understand the reasoning, and I think it's a good change, but I had to laugh at what the developer comments were basically saying.
I think they should’ve left it alone. Ram doesn’t do that much damage per punch anyway and it was a unique property of his to be able to attack through shields
Like it's the whole point to choose Mauga. It added a unique utility meant to counter barriers only to become a mediocre shield breaker. I feel of Ram existed in OW1 and Sym still had her original alt fire, double barrier wouldn't have ruined tye meta
2.5x damage isn’t enough to make up for the loss, 162 damage per pummel means nearly an entire nemesis form required to deplete a rein barrier that fully recharged by the time the next nemesis form starts… very smart devs right here. Meanwhile previously rein had to lower barrier and fight back before
I main Ram, people need to use his Mage form more effectively to get proper value against shields after the change. His pebbles do a lot of damage if you hit them, use the shield to close distance and switch to nemesis for to either block/retreat or push in for a play. If teams think they can still stack against a Ram then a good Ram will know how to punish.
@@s2omist236 I also main Ram on Tank, and this is ALMOST right. People don't use Omnic effectively for sure, but if it's now optimal to use Omnic to shred barriers before being able to use Nemesis, what is the point of Nemesis doing more damage to barriers in the first place? It's such a massive nerf.
@@nebulous9280 The way I would try to use it is by making the shield go down to 25 Percent with pebbles. Then switch forms if they don’t retreat to destroy the rest of the shield, giving me the option to run over the tank. This only pertains to shield tanks, they have to be careful with their position because Ram will be able to destroy shields faster. Once a shield is down, the whole team needs to retreat along with the tab, Rams explosiveness can hopefully catch teams off guard. Idk gotta play test and see
That Ramattra change is doodoo ass. Solution to a problem that never existed. His ability to put that pressure on you, even through shields was what made him viable and this is coming from a Reinhardt main.
It makes me sad if no one picks ram now and they go onto Orisa or something. Fighting Rams is my second favourite pastime as a Rein main, you respect his punch and back off when needed, it was like a good dance.
@@xanderthedragon6481 Honestly, it'll be less fun.. I loved going against Ramattra. Hopefully they'll get enough shit like they did with the Mercy change they wanted to do a few season back to revert it. Hell, this kind of change should've happened when he was new. He's been out almost two years. It is part of his identity. It's really complete silliness on the devs end.
litteraly. I cant believe they're even attempting to make it sound like a positive in the dev note, youcan now do, what so many other dps are better at. fun
One thing I don’t see mentioned elsewhere is now when a Ram pummels a rein shield for the whole nemesis form - they’re no longer gaining any ult charge from damage that whole time
@@Void-Knullthis isn't the type of game that should have a one shot from any range it's not cod that's why characters have damage fall off or projectile drop off
The devs balance philosophy is get hammered and throw darts in the relative direction of a board and guess which hero or mechanic was gonna be hit. Then get it wrong and mess up the thing they changed
is that not how it should be? yeah if the good reinhardt is better than the average ramattra, the rein should win. people complain about counter swapping then also complain when there's attempts to fix it.
@@sneakysong precisely. I was surprised to see how many people in the comments thought the Ram nerf was super bad considering how little it really effects. I mean seriously, how many tank matchups are actually going to be affected by this change? The only shield tanks are Rein, Sigma, and Ram himself (and kind of winston, but no skilled dive winston player should be 1v1ing a Ram). Ram was always an easy counterpick to Rein, in fact, I'm pretty sure nearly every game I've played in where someone counterswapped Rein as Ram, the Rein lost badly, no matter how good they were. It was one of the dumbest counterpicks, considering Rein isn't even a good tank in general. Sigma is always pretty decent, and this won't really change the matchup much. Sigma relies a lot on his shield, I'm not convinced that having his shield burned is a better alternative to having a few squishies be punched through his shield. I think Ram vs Sig will stay pretty much the same. And that's literally it. This doesn't effect anything else. Ram will play the exact same against every other hero. Ram against Ram will work slightly differently but it won't matter because they're the same hero. All this change does it make Ram less of an easy lame counterpick against Rein, a hero who's already terrible.
I hate to tell you, but Reinhardt has always countered Ramattra. It's just the average rein hasn't figured out to just swing at him instead of shielding and retreating
@@camerongrondzki2716 Crazy take. Kind of hard to just swing at him when putting down shield basically is a one-route passage to death for Rein. Ram has tools upon tools to survive brawl encounters. A good Ram can easily block every Rein swing while sliding punches in between.
i hate the ramatra change, the only hero with a good response to barriers is nerfed for no reason, the could made that his punch just lose some damage when going through a barrier but now ramatra is gonna be counter shared by all other tanks
My parents promised me this gift for my birthday a few years ago but I haven't gotten it yet... It's ok, they said if I pitched in a few bucks for version 2 it would be included in the brand new present (same toy though) as last year! At least I get the same present every day for ten years! It makes the present even more special when it's there all month and during certain throwback events. Truly makes my birthday and the present they teased so special 🥰
I have played Sig into Ram hundreds of times and not once have I ever complained about being punched through my shield. There is this thing called positioning and strategy that does wonders, clearly the devs don't know about it.
I think they do know that but the problem is they don’t care about the competitive side they only care about the casual players which are the majority of overwatch players and the only people that would complain about rams piercing, making it a “good” change financially for them bc it would up the amount of causal players :/ it’s sad to see bc i love playing ram but I can’t play him anymore without someone always going rein
@@glpinho yk at this point im not even sure if its still being worked on, like 2-3 seasons ago they said like it'll come out soon and then haven't mentioned it since
@@warden6290 Her dmg/heal falloff will hit maximum at 35 meters, while in her current state it actually starts at 30. Now in order to heal effectively she'll have to basically play like Moira XD
@@wojciechszatko 1)I don't know what the point of your comment is if I already watched the video and know about the changes 2)You are drastically exaggerating with her playing like Moira as she still will be operating at a safe distance from a fight they just made that she can't be half a KOTH map away from the enemy which combined with her mobility made her pretty much untouchable if you didn't Frontline with her. Plus Sombra got killed this patch so their is no one to contest her in the backline anymore.
They are doing everything in their power to not make Sombra’s invisibility a gauge/resource. Just make Stealth a manual activation again but has a resource. This will stop Sombra from hiding indefinitely, but still giving better agency over when it’s used.
I left the game cuz the sombra is now unplayable, only because of her agility and ultimate cost. 12% Is crazy! And also the stealth being at translocator feels weird. I wish they will change it
thank god she got removed tho, literally the definition of anti-fun. but they should have done something to bring widow down now that her main counter is gone. maps like circuit and havana are just gonna be a widow 1v1 regardless of the 8 other players in the game
no they didn't. She's basically late OW1 doom. She can do 366 damage burst not including headshots upon coming out of stealth, she can have a stealth uptime where she's only not stealthed for 2 seconds at a time, and she can jump in, STAY STEALTHED WHILE FIGHTING and just glow purple, and then get a kill with her 366 damage burst in 2 seconds, and then jump back out. This is exactly what doom did back in OW1, at high levels (I played in masters) you jumped in, killed a support or two, died, then used your high mobility to get back in time for the fight, since you can get there 20-30 seconds quicker than their support you killed.
A change for Dorado that a lot of people miss is the for the attackers spawn, the healing area for spawn is now the entire building including the upstairs windows, when before it was just the courtyard area.
Wow they gutted Sombra. Def needed the rework but that invis time is short especially when you can only trigger it with your only escape ability that also alerts the enemy you're around.
I was thinking the same. Like def agree she needed some roping in, not denying that. But this already sounds clunky as hell especially if they didn’t change her sound alerts of the Translocator. Like comparing her to other mobile heroes doesn’t exactly work in that situation cause Genji and tracer have abilities to then defend if they’re seen, whereas sombras whole thing is LEAVING if she gets seen.
I hope people stay off her permanently now. She's unfun to play against for obvious reasons but also to play with as she often just stayed stealthed too long doing nothing
imma be fr, I feel bad as a flex player. Sombra's whole concept is lowk gone w this change. I get that some is anoying to against because they target certain players who are "weaker". They should've atleast make the timer line up w translocator if they'll just gut her out like that.
Feel bad for her and you. Now she can hack you and do more damage to you for 8 seconds, the duration of hack. She was already easy enough to force out. But now, since she probably won't reliably be able to get into position, good chance she'll be with a Tracer or something.
@@aguy216 I mean, maybe she will be, since Translocator can go vertical. But if she's so dog 95% of the time, it doesn't make sense to swap just to stop Widow.
@@ReadilyAvailibleChomper suit yourself if you're resented over her being annoying, which was basically the whole point of her gameplay. this season's reworks were pathetic af overall ngl
@@eriecv Tbh the rest sucked. I don’t play tank, but i feel so bad that they nerfed ram and rein, but buffed mauga. They were a bit harsh on juno and brig imo, although maybe that’s just my bias as a support player.
They haven't really figured out what playstyle they want for her. I haven't really played much recently either, but I played doom heavily in OW1 and was in high masters, and this new playstyle reminds me exactly of what I loved about doom. Jump in from a high height, kill one support, kill another support, and then dive away. With these new changes, she can TP above you, kill you, and then start fighting your other support before she even hits the ground. It'll be insane to see how people play her
@@residentevilnerd Mercy had its up and down but she was somewhat viable in every patch, Sombra was either too strong or whatever and now they just killed her.
@@residentevilnerd mercy had a team undo button. Sombra does not have that much power in comparison. So it’s not really the same. Sombra doesn’t turn another char into a 1 shot monster or contribute to an immortal tank. So due to how much influence Mercy has on 11 other players, it makes more sense. Sombra is obnoxious sure but the amount of influence is an order of magnitude or two lower than Mercy’s
Wow they destroyed Sombra. Not having invis unlimited is fine but it should be its own button. She might as well not have invis since most of the time. You're using TP to disengage. What's the rotation now? Tp in you've got 5 seconds to get something done and then sit there as the entire entire enemy team destroys you because your TP is still on cooldown.
@@WizardOfPimpnog To make her invis basically useless. The rotation now is: use translocator to turn invis, run somewhere random and hide IF you can get there until it's back up, then run to a hero, hack from a random spot, then start blasting. You either have a defensive tool to get in OR get out. Not like Tracer who has useful blinks and recall, Genji who has deflect and mobility to mitigate dmg and swift step to dash out. This would be like if doomfist leap auto initiated powerblock.
This sombra might actually be better than previous sombra. I have almost 2000 hours and I’m honestly interested to see how she performs because now she can do even more damage and reliably get out since the invis does not get canceled
@@HEIOBRINEyeah 7 second tp is crazy long and what’s the point of her being shot out of invis and go back invis if invis only lasts 5 seconds? It sounds really clunky
They dumbed her down TOO much. But to compensate they added back her old passive, Opportunists. As much as I hate that they're changing her, at least they added back something that I loved about old Sombra. As any other Sombra main including myself, we always adapt to these changes!
@@MatheusSantos-jw8ht Yeah and that sucked, rarely anybody played sombra back then and the biggest strategy in 2016 with sombra was using the health packs she hacked to give her ult charge for emp, she was essentially just a support hero, and now she doesn’t even have that. Besides that she can’t even be a dive hero since even if you get a kill in the 5 second window you have to wait an additional 2 seconds to be able to teleport again and there is now way a competent team wouldn’t hear a sombra attacking in their back line
@@FNRR_Juno same damage as ashe with no falloff but has the mobility of a mercy ult on a 5 sec cooldown, and has a hitbox smaller than kiri and tracer combined, while dominating the top 500 leaderboards, she was an issue thats why she’s getting nerfed, y’all support mains be delusional
As I rein main the ram change is wild. I love how silly it is, it felt fun to fight ram because whenever he pulled out nemesis mode I’d just start hitting him with hammer
@@Captain_Kebaphis strength recently had nothing to do with him though, it was just the characters around him, he’s functionally unchanged for multiple patch notes. Firstly, the Dva meta really helped him since he had a decent matchup against her. Secondly, the dominance of Juno and brig enabling the brawl comp was really putting him over the edge, taking brig and Juno down a notch was all they needed to do.
undo the ramatra thing. my favorite thing was piercing barriers and punching squishies while punching the tank. removing barrier pierce is... like taking away widow 2.5x headshot and making it 2.0x, but increasing the max damage and charge time. it just makes it more scuffed
I haven't played Overwatch 2 practically since release, so my opinion may not be all that valuable. But I see where they're going with the Rammatra changes. The problem is that it strips from the character's identity, and causes them to be more flat-line/less interesting. If you want Rammatra to be the Anti-Barrier Hero, you need to make that feel fun and different. Being able to pierce through Shields outright was the only thing that really made him standout when you compared him to Bastion. Now, Rammatra's just a lesser form of Bastion that needs to be closer and has way less DPS for the amount of risk that they need to be going for. If they really want to stick with this direction of Rammatra, I'd definitely implore them to maybe look at adding a Chargeable Heavy Attack whilst in Nemesis Form (just add a new layer to the character to make them more engaging). Either make this Heavy Attack the thing that can pierce through Shields, or make it to where the Heavy Attack just does significantly higher damage to Shields. In my opinion, that'd definitely make the character more interesting.
That’s like the main reason I feel like a lot of people play him; idk just a weird choice, was anyone complaining abt his damage? I thought it was his survivability
I can see it going either way. What people arent considering is with that extra shield pressure, focus fire will drop a barrier much faster, so the whole team can damage the enemy, not just the ram punches through it. Im willing to try it out at least
It’s gonna be terrible. The whole team can just stand behind the rein and shred ram, because they won’t be worried about being hit. The whole gimmick of ram was he hits through shields. It’s prevents a loser from hiding behind a shield the entire time
Lord that ram change mightve killed him. And we are doing micro buffs against.... Edit: Just wanna say, I don't care for buffs/nerfs since I'm playing less and less. However, most heroes become crazy because of the "small" buffs the receive. DVA is probably the most recent one that was getting small buffs here and there....then she tipped over.
@@Jacknorrington sombra is pretty useless as soon as she gets targeted, which will happen much more if she tries to stay in the backline away from some vertical cover. she is only even useful this patch way with the hack virus combo since burst damage will be required unless shes just farming ult from a soldier spot.
@@Jacknorrington explain to me her new rotation. she has 5 seconds to get to their backline, attempt to do something, and either gets noticed by the entire team or gets rolled because of her 7 second translocater.
@@staarfall5317 I was an old doom player in OW1, I had about 1000 hours on him and was around 3850 SR. When we played doom in OW1, you dove in, killed both supports, and then died. Then, since you were quicker, you ran back, set up again, and did it again every death. You also never used CDs to enter a fight, you used them to escape the fight. Dooms would also stall ontop of buildings or high places and start the fights from the sky. Keeping all that in mind, I'm imagining that I can stall up on eichenwalde in the same spots I did as doom, I can drop down and start fighting. With the new buffs to opportunist, you can hack, virus, and shoot and do 800 damage within 3 seconds from the time you started hacking (if you hit all heads and 100% accuracy). If you didn't hit heads, it'll go down to 640, and if you only had 50% accuracy it'd go down to about 440 damage, but I play up in GM and masters 1 and people usually have 70-80 so thats how i'm calculating them. You fall off your stall spot, you can kill a support before you even touch the ground, can TP away, or even fight another support and try to kill him (hack will be on CD as well as virus, so no more quick kill potentials) but you can just try to win the 1v1 or you can use your TP to disengage. Basically, I'm used to playing dive characters where you dive away after getting kills, not diving in to enter. If you ever dive into the team to fight, you're not fighting to survive, you're trying to trade positively. Dont dive in with your translocator if you're expecting to not die after getting 1-2 kills.
@@psd.3144 her burst damage is now substantially higher. Mathematically she can do between 0-800 damage in 3 seconds counting the time to hack and virus. 0 is if you miss every shot and the virus, and 800 is if you hit all headshots with 100% accuracy. Most people will probably hit around 400-650 dps in 3 seconds, meaning she has insanely high burst potential and can kill any support duo before they can realistically respond. Of course you have to be smart, I"m not going to dive the support duo if theres a bap or a brig, but thats just OW101 anyways, so you still have to play smart
Ah yes, let's make a character who's entire purpose and uniqueness relies on the fact that he damages through barriers and then let's take that away making him no longer unique or that useful
Sym just sitting there waiting for meaningful changes while Sombra's receiving rework number 37. Uneven number rework so it means they need to make her unplayable and unviable again. Rework nr 38 will be fine again.
I am happy, super happy. I never needed sombra to get rid of widow, plenty of chars can deal with her: Symmetra, Ash,Ball, Winston, Ana, Briggete... just to name a few.
The Sombra reworks drive me nuts. For people who don't play the game often, this stuff is really confusing. I have a friend who still isn't used to the last rework.
As a rein main I think he's gonna be better this season for me. I struggle against ram the most and the devs have made a lot of good map changes to make rein's bad maps better for him
@@ThiaGamesBR Ram has 20 percent movement speed and can keep out of hammer swing. If I have a lucio or juno sure I can beat ram pretty easily actually, if not then not a whole lot I can do. I prefer going against Orisa tbh cause I'm skilled enough to consistently block her javelins. For me, Orisa is a skill matchup, Ram is support reliant
She was really strong but with enough experience you could outplay her frequently. This nerf is way way way too much all at once in my opinion and I say this as a ball player who goes against her in 90% of my games.
@@DUCKYREACH as a sombra main (2k+ hours) thats literally what im saying, u need skill to play her well and if u complain about her being skill less than u need to be in metal rank, like theres no way someone says sombra is easy to play higher than gold or he is just delusional, thats not making her skill requirements higher its just deleting her from the game, no ammount of skill can fix that shit
@IcyKitty153 yeah ill admit she wasn't fun to play against when your team were asleep at the wheel but she could be killed I do think perma invis needed to go but not that short I was kinda hoping for a mechanism similar to spy's watch from tf2
They removed identity of sombra, kinda sad because it happened to so many heroes already even tho i didnt play her much. Also Im curious how sombra is suppose to approach fights now? Just translocate in every time and then hope nobody shuts you down before you get cd back? Idk but imagining it just seems like worse tracer, you get in with cd but unlike tracer you dont have recall ready
this was og sombra. stealth was on a timer as was translocator. but she hits way harder now than she did in ow1. so technically they haven't really changed anything.
@@mentarium9741 Dude what? You could manually activate stealth and translocator individually and timers were much much longer, she did less dmg but hack ability lock lasted like 5 seconds so you could shutdown some heroes really hard. Og sombra and this is nothing alike
@@mentarium9741 No, it wasn't. OG Sombra placed Translocator somewhere safely, used Stealth, went in, did damage, and reset. The key here is that you used STEALTH to engage, and TRANSLOCATOR to disengage. With this rework, you are FORCED to use both Stealth AND Translocator simultaneously. Either you somehow engage with no abilities as a hero that has no extra movement abilities but still wants to be close-mid range, or you use it to engage and hope and pray that you live long enough for your next Translocator. Which just got its cooldown nerfed pretty drastically. (5-7 seconds is quite a lot in this game). If they put Stealth on an ability and made it have a limited duration, it'd be better. But there aren't enough buttons on a controller to do that for Console players. That's why Stealth was moved to be passive in the first place, so they could add Virus.
@@nebulous9280 i didn't mean literally. but the core idea of stealth on a timer is not new. and using translocator for forward positioning wasn't uncommon either for old sombra. the thing with this rework is that you aren't engaging with translocator. you're using it to set up a play that by the time you finish you should have it back to then tp back out. you have 5 seconds of stealth to use to your advantage then 2 seconds after stealth (assuming you use all 5 seconds) you can already tp again. you also can't be shot out of invis fully which helps. she isn't going to be as bad as people are making it out to be
@@mentarium9741 I see u didnt play overwatch 1 and doesnt know anything about ov being propably in metal ranks, u dont even know what she was doing back in overwatch 1, as she could enable her invisibility by clicking shift and her translocator was other ability on e not 2 in 1, also having higher timer and less cd on everything also she was made for 6v6 there and that shit isnt made for 5v5, it will not work here, she is basically delted from the game

Rams ability to pierce through shields made him so helpful to deal damage to people behind them and it was just unique, now he's just another shield breaker which is so lame
Ram was actually a good hero. Too many people hides behind reinhardt's shield which is also not easily breakable. Why would they change ramattra's ability over nerfing rein's shield is beyond me.
@@TheMeatPriest they made it slower for defenders on B and D, and offset the nerf on A and E a little with an additional attacker buff. it's overall an attacker buff
Wow.. They really dont like sombra.. Just cause people dont know how to kill her... Also wth are they thinking with ram.. His whole identity was damage through barriers...
From what I've seen so far, she isn't useless now. I've now seen a nano & emp combo where she got a 4k, the damage buff makes her a threat while not being an annoying mosquito in the backline.
@@beastcrack519 Dva hasn't been nerfed, so he will still be gatekept by her this season. The more burning is nice, but overall not near as big as people think.
My problem with Juno wasn't with her range, mediblaster healing or mobility, all of those could be handled by heroes that are commonly seen. The main issue was her torpedoes, they can simultaneously do a lot of damage and healing to an entire teamfight, while having healing over time like Regen burst, and having a much bigger AOE than Bio grenade; not addressing these was a mistake in my opinion
@@Abstractor21 If she is somewhat close to the fight they take very little time to lock on, so it's not always easy especially if the Juno is skilled at using cover
Forever plat here, I hate fighting Juno’s because no matter what they’ll use that homing torpedo offensively and I’m always the one that gets hit by it! I’ve never faced a Juno that doesn’t rush you the moment they sniff you out,
Nah her torpedos need to be quicker if anything. They take FOREVER to lock on, fire, and hit their targets. If you try to use them mid-fight to heal your team then they’re dead before the torpedos get to them to heal lol

There was no greater joy than diving and punching a LifeWeaver through his petal platform, or pressuring a Rein who overextended and is relying on his shield, or slamming supports who are being body/shield blocked by their tanks.

@@unknownscientist1530 Legit his whole gimmick was his piercing of shields, does blizzard add cool balanced stuff to just remove it. I main Ram, people need to use his Mage form more effectively to get proper value against shields after the change. @@s2omist236 I also main Ram on Tank, and this is ALMOST right. It's such a massive nerf.
@@nebulous9280 The way I would try to use it is by making the shield go down to 25 Percent with pebbles.
This is exactly what doom did back in OW1, at high levels (I played in masters) you jumped in, killed a support or two, died, then used your high mobility to get back in time for the fight, since you can get there 20-30 seconds quicker than their support you killed.

Ram’s punches going thru barriers was one of the best things about his punches imo

@@wuzziecrunch5382 this^^^^^^
I can see it going either way.

She is so easy to kill when she do that.... U are probably low rank
