I have loved Sara since the minute I heard her. She is my favorite artist of my generation. Just now I decided to search for covers she’s done because the ones I’ve heard are always perfect. And this…wow. I cannot with her. She will be a legend.
This is pretty much perfect. Best cover of this I've found so far on RUclips. All these people saying you didn't hit the high note must not have listened to the whole thing. You hit it twice and it was just perfect how you waited until near the end to hit it.
She did it on the 3rd chorus. She built it up; 1st chorus she went low, 2nd was like right in the middle, and then she went there. I thought it was awesome.
What an incredible cover! She totally owned it - sounds utterly amazing. I know I've said this time and time again, but Sara's voice is just amazing. One of the few who doesn't need to use Auto Tune and sounds even better when live.

If I didn't know the lyrics, I wouldn't know it was the same song, and sorry guys, that's what makes a cover awesome. It isn't singing it just like the first artist who did it. It's making it new, and fresh and awesome. And she totally did that.

Plus, I also only recently learned the proper lyrics for "Take my Breath Away." Apparently, the line is ..."through the hourglass I saw you...." As a kid, I loudly sang along, but that line was "Julio Iglesias saw you...." Who knew?!?!
LOL... the first time I ever sang Karaoke, I attempted Elton John's "Crocodile Rock" because I thought I knew the lyrics... I was only off by about 98%... I was reading the lyrics as they were displayed... and just kept thinking... that's what they are? I felt like a total idiot. I'd been singing along with that song for decades, but apparently had NO CLUE what the actual words were.
Damn. She's so good. I love her version and vision of this song. Not to mention that she has such a beautiful voice. I've heard many other versions and she's by far the best. I still love the original though.
