Lobsters and crabs used to be given to prisoners. They weren’t very desirable. Until everyone caught on to how yummy those guys are

It’s my favorite that brad doesn’t talk to the audience he just talks to Vinny, Vinnerino, Vincenzo.
I love the humor in 'It's Alive' so much, but real talk, I LOVE that Brad stresses so much on responsibly sourcing your ingredients and food in general. It doesn't come up enough in most cooking shows and more people really need to see and hear how much their choices matter as far as the future of our planet and the quality of our food. Thanks, Brad.

brad has such a good message of "buy smart, eat smart" "don't hunt for sport" "respect the animal". buying locally/beekeeping/growing your own produce/killing the animal yourself through hunting/fishing/etc is one of the best things you can do, both for the environment and for your community
