Watching from S10e here. It's already more than 4 years old, but still reliable. Reception is great. The battery capacity is 89%. I like how small it is. The cameras still perform well (even better than other newly-release phones). Not a gamer. That's why the RAM of this device addresses my needs. I love S10e. I hope Samsung would again release a tiny phone like this.

I agree. Bought mine 1 year after it came out. Ebay for 50% off. Brand new, in the box. Not refurbished. Works great and the battery lasts all day for my average use!
had s23 but sold it and went back to s10e. Phone is something that will be dropped, no more stress of having to watch out not to scratch very expensive s23. The camera is not THAT much better - more AI processing at work than optics. S10e have all the same functions, is lighter and more comfortable to use
I picked up a refurbished one on eBay for cheap best phone ever honestly I wouldn't swap it for a newer one because I like the form factor and features it has such as the fingerprint scanner in the side and the expandable storage and headphone jack also it's plenty fast for me whereas a newer budget phone won't pay that fast but it depends on how new and your budget. Also I like the feel of a premium flagship phone.
Mine just broke and I was not ready to part ways, watching this video because I'm pretty sure I'm just going to get another one. Add under $150 for a refurbished one I think it would be a better move to get a very feature-rich phone that's actually nice and small, even though it's not the most current it's still better than a lot of stuff out there and runs just fine especially if you don't game
Samsung has a built-in feature that can stop charging at 80% and lessens battery degradation! I religiously keep the charge between 80% and 20% as Lithium-Ion batteries are most happy at 50%! This is extremely important for battery preservation!
I actually don't get it bro, you need to hold your phone for the whole day, when you know if you charge it to 100% you will have only 2 years healthy battery and want it to extend to 3-4 years, but you already maintain the battery like 80% unhealthy status like from day 1, what's the point then? I already changed the battery for my S10 by myself at year 4
I know! When I did a factory reset two months ago, I discovered that feature as well! Now I charge up to 85% all the time, and if or when I'm away from a plug for a while, I carry a fully charged external battery on me all the time!

You use it when you know you're going to be away from an outlet or car jack for an extended period of time...
watching on my s10e. I like how small it is since my last phone was around the same size and this is my first flagship. Wish I searched more because I'm seeing s10 for the same prices. More ram and battery would be nice since this cant handle heavy games anymore. I want to upgrade to the s21 ultra by the years end.
Honestly, the s10e is the greatest phone Samsung has put out in terms of physical features they should've never removed. The power button with the slide notifications and Samsung pay features, absolutely amazing. Keeping the headphone jack was top tier. I only bother with custom music during long drives, and switching to a phone without aux is blasphemy, especially when you can't charge and do aux.
Absolutely!!!!! Greatest phone Samsung ever made. Still have the mask and the SD card. Samsung should bring out the s10e can edition for 2025. I just this phone for my travel documentaries and the quality is BETTER than the S24, why? Because back then Samsung did not oversaturate the photos. I've owned their new ones and they just don't compute in terms in usability. The real kicker is the finger print reader. On the s10e the reader is on the side where it BELONGS! And it is super fast - much better than the S21 through S24. BY FAR!!!!! I cannot emphasize just how good this phone is. I have a spare new one for when the battery finally goes. It's that good. Samsung could do well to issue a fan edition for 2025.
I still have my S10e and it works just as well as the day I got it (albeit the battery is a bit less potent). Great phone. I will be keeping it until it dies since it still has the aux plug.
Purchased one for a family member months ago, cause they wanted a smaller phone on a budget, did loads of research & this was the only phone that really fit the bill. Long story short, it arrived, I set it up for them, & fell in love with it myself, so I got one for myself a few weeks back, & even at 5 years old its still so fast & functional 👌👌
Watched on my over 5 year old 256gb S10e with it's 8gb of ram and 512gb micro SD card, Qualcomm snapdragon 855! This is so perfect for me! All the phones on rhe market and this one stands in a class all by it's self! Bravo to Samsung!

Ordered one on eBay to replace a Moto G Stylus 5G with a broken on/off button and I'm so excited! In every way other than the battery life and the stylus, the Samsung is as good or better, plus it's Samsung's last flagship to have a headphone jack. I can't wait!
Beautiful design, perfect size, great display, lightweight. I love it. I bought mine in 2021, brand new. It's the exynos version (snapdragon is better), but still a great phone. Cons: proximity sensor, Bixby button, small battery, temperature management (Exynos).
Just got mine for free, had a customer come in for an upgrade and they let me have it. The only thing wrong with it is the battery as it’s bloating but it’s an easy fix and aside from that, it’s in perfect condition. Gonna trade that sucker in for a Galaxy Flip5

i had to recently replace my battery. I also put on a new screen protector. Sadly I do have some screen burn in, but I see no need to replace it. It's a great phone.
I like my s10e although it needs a battery replacement but also has burn in so i would need to replace screen too or suck it up. At that point i feel like i should just get a new one
The problem is that you can't buy it new anymore. I haven't found a single shop that sells new ones. This means you are potentially dealing with scammers trying to sell a phone with some defect, or a battery with depleted resource, or your phone will die in half a year because it was already used for 3 years before you got it

It's still too big, but it's the best reasonably sized phone available for the past 5 years. I still daily my s10e for the past 4 years, battery doesn't quite last when I'm away from my desk too long. I wish Samsung would offer a small form factor near-flagship device in 2024, the S24 is not much bigger but then the S10e was not much bigger than the S7 I had before it which was not much bigger than the S5 but that was bigger than the orignal SGS (Can we please get close to that size again just will less bezel?)

If you buy Exynos version, you can get essentially Android 14 on it via Project Elixir. If you have Snapdragon version, you're boned and can't do anything.
S10e battery is not good if you use it actually ^^ Other than that, great phone. The best I had in hands since years. Have the s23 but nothing compared to s10e ergonomy. I won't go back though.
Sad that they never made another S...e phone again. At least for me it made the right trade-offs from the regular S10. Only issue I have and always had is the battery life always was the big weakness and only has gotten worse due to wear and more demanding Software.
I hate having to play the battery game, but that's why I am here...just interested about battery life in these dinosaurs. My S10e battery is about done. It was at 15% this morning....looked on the web for about 5 minutes, and it went down to 5%. Plugged it in to my PC USB (slow and low to keep down battery heat) and it died charging. I wouldn't bother replacing it if it wasn't for the battery. All these big clown companies want to talk eco, but they don't offer a replaceable battery, so they don't want eco, just more money.
@@shnitzel14 Change is hopefully in the pipeline with the new EU law coming through mandating for replaceable batteries from 2025/6-ish I think. Will have to see whether phone companies identify loopholes to get around it though and what the US market will do.
I have an unused s10e that I was planning to start using, but the glue of the back cover is starting to come undone...can this be repaired? If so, how?
I opened the box a couple of weeks ago and when I took it out of the box yesterday, I noticed that the back cover was coming undone on one side...No excessive heat.
One thing you can try is doing some software optimizations which is getting rid of bloatware apps and tweaking some settings you can look up some videos on this.
Yep I'd buy an "e" version. However, Samsung removed headphone jack, SD card slot and discontinued the "e" series. Almost everything they did was against what I want as a customer.

It's not a "tiny" phone, its more like a NORMAL sized phone. The last "tiny" phone was the Sony XZ2 Compact; a 5.0 inch display.

I like the size, it fits in my pockets. Mine is 4 years old and still working well.
I play multiplayer minecraft on my s10e. It struggles when a creeper explodes. But it handles well under normal everyday tasks.
It's not meant for gaming I believe 💀💀
Still using it regularly alongside 14 pro. Mainly for work related stuffs (Teams, emails, calls, messenger). Still a capable phone for me

2. It runs OneUI, not TouchWiz. TouchWiz was discontinued around 6 years ago

Well everything can be fixed by custom rom, battery replacement is pretty cheap too.

Why do you think it's necessary to put music over speech, especially when imparting important information and speaking quite quickly?
crDroid 9.14 is the best ROM for this phone for now in my honest opinion. The stock one is much worse.

what touch wiz skin ? check your info. The phone came original with one ui 1. It got the updates till one ui 4. No touch wiz here.

Definitely. I've been using mine for 4 years now, runs completely fine still. No issues with any apps
It will lost support after 5 to 7 years so year you are fine even the s7 with android 8 still compatible with mostly apps

I believe this is valid, I think Samsung has recently rolled out a new security update for a few of these older devices
