Currently watching this on my moms old s10e that I traded her for my newer samsung. Ive been using this for 2 years and its maybe my favorite smartphone I've ever had. Every app works well, I can play pretty heavy games without much lag or performance issue. Battery life is good, I thought the battery was poor, but turns out my charger just sucked. The camera, storage, and display are great and compare to all my friends' newer smartphones. The only downside imo is random network issues. I get less bars than my friends in more rural areas, and some apps take a while to load if I'm not connected to wifi, especially my vanced youtube. It's probably the only reason I would currently consider getting a new phone. But for now, Im very happy with this phone and will likely keep it until it literally breaks apart.

Thanks for the video. I love my S10e. Its my all time No. 1 phone in size, battery life, photo camera and usability. Recently the volume button of my S10e is broken, so I thought its time for a new phone. Tried an Iphone 16 and a Samsung S24 (EU version without Snapdragon), and was wondering why photos of these high-end devices are looking so much worst and unnatural, compared to the photos of the S10e. Seems the S10e was one of the last phones using camera components in good quality. I have now replaced the broken volume button and will keep my loved S10e, until there will be a similar phone on the market one day.
I don't find the swipe gesture as pixel much genuine. I prefer the swipe from bottom with 3 buttons hidden (with Goodlock Samsung app). So much simpler and faster.
Sad that Samsung never made another S.. e phone. I also have mine and its great. Only thing I that keeps me from using it now is the weak battery. Its especially bad on the Exynos version.
I was disappointed because it was almost as good as their flagship phones at the time. I think they never made another one because the regular S phones are now of a similar size to the E.
@@upupina90 I think that's due to battery size, you may have to lift some weights for your wrist 😂. If you remember the battery was always terrible for the 10e. But I agree the phone does feel a bit heavy in one hand.
I'm using S10e. Works with me because this phone is like a mediator between older smartphones vs current ones. It has 3.5mm earphone jack yet I can use wireless bluetooth earbuds or plug in a type-c wired earphone. As for charging, I can use cable charging or wireless charging. Magsafe charger works too! It has SD card slot whenever I need more storage space for my videos and photos. My most favourite thing about my S10e is the wireless power sharing function ‐‐ it works as a 'powerbank' to my 13 mini whenever I needed an emergency charge!
i used the s10e for a while a couple years ago and i loved that phone, however it did slow down over time which was disappointing. other than that, i think it’s a great phone as long as you don’t care about having the fastest latest tech
I've been eyeing the S23 for a while now as a replacement for my old S10e. I first bought it for a girlfriend. I compared them side by side and was amazed. Apart from longer battery life, the S23 offered me nothing more or even less (3.5mm jack, SD card). So now I don't know if the S10e is such an exceptionally good phone or the S23 is so average for its time. I don't understand videos that "praise" new phone models every year because of such small differences. Sorry Samsung, but your new phones with unreasonable price tags are out of the question for me.
I love my S10e. I've had it since it was released and it still performs flawlessly. The battery life is still very good. Unfortunately Samsung stopped updating this phone a few weeks ago. I don't care, I'm riding this vitch till the wheels fall off!! 😂
i slightly over paid for my UK spec yellow s10E 2 years ago. $400 Canadian from ebay. an upgrade from free J3 (2016). did go for the yellow one in particular and rather happy with its performance to this day. medium setting CPU and more than sufficient for use as a phone without trying to max out specs and settings. perfect size too. if you dont care about superb performance and want a good phone then S10E will do just fine for many people.the battery is good for its size. if heavy use then do expect to charge it 2-3 times a day but otherwise holds very well.
Don't change the battery yourself like I did twice with what seemed like a genuine one. Not that it's too hard but it did'nt change anything for me at all as I learned after that samsung does something specific related to some firmware calibration when they replace them. Me I still have the deterioration warning telling me to change the battery, even after a full factory reset. Make it replace by samsung imo.
Pixels no longer have free google photo storage started with the 5A, do not have Dex alternative. I recently upgraded to a S23 since price has gone down.
The s10e is a fantastic phone, I bought it on launch, it has been over 5 years, getting a new phone stills feels like a waste of money even after the battery has deteriorated so much. It was fantastic because it charged super fast while on wire, even during the third year i was still being surprised and commenting out loud at the charge rate. The pixel density is fantastic, it beats the s24 in that category, meaning it is technically sharper... except that amoled has a little bit of bleeding, and making everything tighter exacerbates this. Note: I honestly cannot see how this channel justifies putting the pixel 4 over the s10e, the lonely thing it does better are the pictures, in every other category including battery it gets shredded. The s10e is technically an older device aswell. (yes, pixel has better software support, that is irrelevant because to you it is only a number in a hidden menu).
I just got my power button replaced at the expense of losing finger print sensor... other than that it still working fine... i can now use it side by side with my s23u and tab s9fe still happy it's revived Its compact size is sure my greatest like on this phone, its still one of the flagships afterall... samsung should bring back 5.8 beasts

I would absolutely recommend this phone, only thing you'd want to keep in mind is battery life. It may need to be recharged somewhat frequently, so you'd probably want to make sure to keep a charger in your car and at your desk like I did. Other than that, this phone is awesome
I'm still rockin' a S10+...however, I find the camera quality not being as good as it could be. Other then that, the S10 series (e, +, 5g) are pretty amazing considering their age. ✌️
@@MrWeezeloner it is pretty easy, just heat the back up with a hairdryer, remove the back, remove some screws and the wireless charging field. Then heat up the battery glue by using the hairdryer from the display side. Remove the lid to the battery and replace the battery with new one, then do all in reverse. Note that your phone is not that water resistant anymore then, if that is a problem for you. There are some youtube guides online that help you through as well. Anyway i have a ok battery now, I still think about getting the next s25, because it will get 7 or 8 years of support. Using my old s10e then for other tasks
This was never a budget phone as stated.. this was a flagship phone. It seems like most of the issues are because you don't like Samsung and other problems like old battery and bad wifi connectivity. Also the pictures are great, sure you have other algorithm used on newer phones to get a different looks.. but you could also take raw images to do color adjustments on your own. If you ate not used to 120hz screens you won't notice any lags while swiping. Also the phone reduces in processing speed when the battery goes low, which seems to be like in your case when it 50% in an hour the battery is very very bad.
had this phone since release but its just gettin really slow and the battery is just too small for me, really wish there is a phone in the future with this exact design but better hardware. more suprised how there isnt one.. or maybe i havent looked enough

Bought this phone brand new on release day in 2019, and it's still holding up, but offcourse it's starting to show it's age, shame Samsung forces people to there A-series if you wan't an SD card slot. The battery life is dramatic these days, i get arround 3 hours on screen time, even less with heavy RUclips use. I'm currently looking at Nothing Phone 2a, A55 Galaxy and Pixel7a, nothing Phone and Pixel don't have SD slots and the A55 and 2a are monstrosities of a phone... So i'm not keen on "upgrading" Anyways , i came from Iphone 5S/6/6S+/X to the Galaxy S10E and it has been the best phone i ever had, gonna miss the regular size of this phone, it's brilliant for one hand use and it fits my pockets easily.

Watching this video on my S10e. I can feel it judging this video harshly lol. But, the battery and camera gripes are pretty fair and accurate. 4 years later since i got it though, its held up pretty well. I say this as i have an A55 on its way to replace it lol
At this point in life I'm more willing to buy four or five s10e phone's versus paying up for the less with these current phones. If I break one just pop my SIM into the next one and keep it moving.
theres a utuber had a video of s6 line still running 98% of majority of apps. like maps gmail youtube and etc. that alone is a proof that s10 and note 10 line could easily work up until year 2030. granted you change battery with new one every 4 to 5yrs.
Definitely the Pixel 5. The S10e is still a really good phone, but I've had so much personal success with Pixels, I'd have to recommend going with one of those. I just haven't spent enough time with any Samsung phone to recommend them. That may change soon though
Back when the s10e was new the battery was plenty for me. As they’ve aged it won’t be as good now. I unfortunately couldn’t use one even if I wanted to today because mint mobile doesn’t support e sim and I don’t wanna wait for them to mail me a physical sim and pay for a sim.
I am using S9plus. The only reason I want to upgrade to S10e is because S9 plus has 64GB. Do you think it makes sense to switch? I love the design and compactness of the S10e.
In 2024, I don’t think it makes any sense to go any further back than the s21 series. Because you still get some support without breaking the bank. The s10e particularly was notorious for horrible battery life even new so I wouldn’t even consider it. You’re much better off getting a base model s21 that’s going for around $200 with better battery and overall better specs. Also, I wouldn’t recommend any Pixel phone used or new. Had a 5a recently brick up after a Google Play update. So then you’ve basically bought an overpriced paper weight.
s21 is on exyshit (888 is also exyshit in disguise), terrible thermal and battery management. I'd pick up s20fe, it's better choice even on android 13, especially when newer versions doesn't bring that much what I'd consider useful, some minor rearrangements. And u can install custom os on it so there's no need to whine about lack of updates. That's what producers do to forsake you to buy newer (more expensive) phone and you don't get much out of it.
Im using s10e for almost 2 yrs and the battery life is decent, if only for day to day normal tasks such as call, media consumption, as daily driver phone it is excellent. Only weakness is when playing games which drains the battery faster and overheats, but I have a different phone for gaming so its all good.
I'm still using mine in 2024. The battery life is garbage and the phone mic stopped working, but I've yet to find something I'd rather upgrade to. It's the perfect size, has a headphone jack and expandable storage. I'm honestly debating just buying another to replace the one I'm using...
I'm using one too. Few weeks back, it stopped getting service. I couldn't make calls. Just last week, the network was restored without fixing it. I love this phone. I'm planning moving on to iPhone 13 mini because I don't like the size of most phones out there. 6'1 and above.

It still works great! The only problem is the battery but tbh it wasn't even good when it was first released. It is a compact phone after all. But the way it functions like regular S10, it's pretty impressive. They even kept 4k 60fps video. Other brands would drop that function on their lite or budget version of their flagship. The phone is pretty light but the build quality is definitely flagship. It doesn't feel too cheap unlike Chinese phone counterparts. Idk about today but back in 2019 lite versions of Chinese flagships feel cheap

The battery life is really good. I just replaced my battery with new one. And it can last 2 days of usage.
@@Rainhands22 yeah similar size but more heavy, my wrist hurts when i use a phone that weights 170g or more :(
@@upupina90 I think that's due to battery size, you may have to lift some weights for your wrist 😂.
Great video as always bro 🎉
3:10 That's a feature :)) You should be able to just drag it back to the main shutter button and it'll disappear.
I LOVED my S 10E
i slightly over paid for my UK spec yellow s10E 2 years ago.
I have the Samsung s10e.
You won't be sorry to own one.
Only problem is getting a battery.
If someone gets a awesome battery for it.
Please drop link
I just ship mine from China.
I bought this phone twice, ilove it and I really enjoyed it
Pixels no longer have free google photo storage started with the 5A, do not have Dex alternative.
I just got my power button replaced at the expense of losing finger print sensor... other than that it still working fine... i can now use it side by side with my s23u and tab s9fe still happy it's revived
Its compact size is sure my greatest like on this phone, its still one of the flagships afterall... samsung should bring back 5.8 beasts
goated phone, signal issues is probably because of the area because i never had any issues with it, also please cut your nails
looking for a new daily driver for my mother, and i think this would be the perfect fit, since if she would need help with the device, i can help very easily since ive used samsungs all my life (current daily driver is an S21). she is also upgrading from a crappy umidigi (chinese amazon company) phone that got water damaged.
thoughts? all she would use it for is online banking, calling, texting, and web browsing.
I really think of replacing my old battery again, this phone is actually still very perfect for most of the tasks you do
How do you replace the battery?
@@MrWeezeloner it is pretty easy, just heat the back up with a hairdryer, remove the back, remove some screws and the wireless charging field. Then heat up the battery glue by using the hairdryer from the display side. Remove the lid to the battery and replace the battery with new one, then do all in reverse. Note that your phone is not that water resistant anymore then, if that is a problem for you. There are some youtube guides online that help you through as well.
Anyway i have a ok battery now, I still think about getting the next s25, because it will get 7 or 8 years of support. Using my old s10e then for other tasks
@@klicka1 Bro, nothing about that sounds easy!! Hahaha...Thanks for the information though. I appreciate it.
@@MrWeezeloner hehe well you could give it into repair at least here in germany that is 80 Euro including battery
Yup. The battery needs to be replaced. If he doesn't want it, I'll give him $20 cash money for it.
@@MrSloika I told you there is no original and I already bought a different type for about 20 Euro for that reason
had this phone since release but its just gettin really slow and the battery is just too small for me, really wish there is a phone in the future with this exact design but better hardware. more suprised how there isnt one.. or maybe i havent looked enough
I bought this phone today its coming in a week, soooo excited
1:50 - "Too high"?? HOW IS THAT TOO HIGH?! 🤦🏾♂ For the common user here like myself, it's really not that hard to reach the bloody thing, be it with your thumb or your index finger! That is such an utterly dumb nitpick there that I'm surprised no one called you out on the BS already!
So i'm not keen on "upgrading"
Anyways , i came from Iphone 5S/6/6S+/X to the Galaxy S10E and it has been the best phone i ever had, gonna miss the regular size of this phone, it's brilliant for one hand use and it fits my pockets easily.
If I were you i'd Buy a S21 They Are At A Really Good Price on eBay Refurbished
@vitormfsantos
Yeah gave them a quik look but the price and bad update policy is holding me back, otherwise great small powerhouse of a phone.
@@JoshAltosino S21 is what... 3 years old? That means i'm looking for a new phone in 2 years again so that's not realy an option.
I agree, I still wait to upgrade for an S series with SD card but not sure they will add it anyday, 128/256gb would feel like a downgrade from S10e...
@@BornIntoThis20 nah brother they won't, they generate to much money from people who are buying cloudspace. Monthly income is what they are aiming for unfortunately.
Battery drops 50% every hour ? What ? Mine drops 9% over night (8 hours) with power saving mode turned on. Drops around 23 % after 30 minute zoom call. The battery in your phone must be shot.
Iam still using mine had battery drain issue from last 15 days just ordered new one lets see how long it can go
My s10e does not work anymore. 😅 How are you all still using this phone for anything other than tablet like use.
Between pixel 5 or this, what would you choose for 2024 and beyond?
Still rolling 🕶️
I bought Asus zenfone 9 with 450$. Thats so great, camera is very good, fast reaction, good looking. Its the same size with S10e. Thanks to Asus.
I have an s21ultra, my phone has been stock on android 12 since 2022 I haven't gotten an update uphill today 😢
imma be sad when i switch to a better phone cuz this ones cool
Then just keep it as the backup
Is there a secure folder on the s10e?
Watching on my S10e
I'm still using mine in 2024. The battery life is garbage and the phone mic stopped working, but I've yet to find something I'd rather upgrade to. It's the perfect size, has a headphone jack and expandable storage. I'm honestly debating just buying another to replace the one I'm using...
how much screen on time u get i considering buying new one only battery ,, / or is it worth it to buy another phone
I'm using one too. Few weeks back, it stopped getting service. I couldn't make calls. Just last week, the network was restored without fixing it. I love this phone. I'm planning moving on to iPhone 13 mini because I don't like the size of most phones out there. 6'1 and above.
I’m getting the galaxy s10e very soon. And I’m very excited
get a new one if possible becoz battery would very weak in used phone , i always want buy s10e only one issue is the battery life that all

s10e has snapdragon 855
Great phone but won’t get a great battery timing out of it instead for £50 - £80 you can get a much better and faster Galaxy S20
Didn't try Samsung Dex or Samsung pay which works everywhere
I used this as 2nd phone for working. Small and compact❤❤
The Pixel 4a isn't even flagship??
Bro can we update that phone snapdragon to 13 that' phones is still a powerful phone on 2024
Please can u make a video on lg v50
I would love to do a video on the v50! I'll definitely try to work it in to my busy schedule
Hmm yeah yeah taking my notes (Im using an s10e that is falling apart and dont have money for a new one)
What is the apple equivalent ?

i have one since 2018, my main and only phone, everything is awsome, even the cameras are very good, you just didn't know to configure the settings right, this monster have 4K 60fps
10e or a14 which one is better
A14 has a better battery and not much else
The service thing has got to be your phone because the s10e I have works great always has
Bro can you please give a reply about battery performance
Battery life isn't great, but It worked fine in my testing. I use my phone pretty lightly most days, so I could get through a full day with this phone
just bought one today for 40 eur (it has a broken back, but still a good deal)
Bro do u still need the phone
I really need a phone
50 percent everyhour ?
The battery in his phone is bad.
A actually still use it and waiting for Samsung to make a same sized replacement
Best phone not me still hangng on it 2024 ❤
thanks brother
we want a s10e successor!!!!! samsung !!!!! pleaseeeeee
Headphone jacks are history. Expandable storage is history. Small size is history. You'll never see another phone like this.
Nice review but why so long nails?
My samsung s 10 e heat too much
It could run one UI 5
