I don’t think I’ve seen another mtg content creator like Seth. I’ve been watching the channel almost 10 years now and he’s never missed a podcast, weekly against the odds and writes articles for the site! And he’s always having a blast while playing. Thank you Seth for the great content
Thanks :)
Seeing Seth leave feels even weirder than tomer leaving. He will definitely be missed next season, hopefully Phil durdles even harder to compensate!
"I drew you a carrrrd"
"That was questionable from the beginning"
Between that moment and the attempted deal with Seth, Phil was making plays! Great episode
Seth is one of my favorite online people. He's just so positive and dedicated to his work. I hope he enjoys his commanderclash break!
Tomer comes back and gets Richard fired from his own company, and now he's setting up to fire Seth!?! How could he do that to his "friend"!??!
Have a nice season off, Seth, and looking forward to next season!!
Phil's Siege Rhino deck actually having Siege Rhino in it has to be the biggest surprise in the game!
Place your bets on how many turns MTGO will last before being crushed by the unbearable weight of four Seths worth of triggered abilities
Mine's 12.
Panharmonicon vs. The Indomitable Human Spirit
at least 3
Phil had me dying @1:15:45
Tomer: I drew you a card!
Phil: oh yeah, that was questionable from the beginning.
Tomer- "And I drew you a card!"
Phil: "Yeah that was questionable from the beginning"
Absolutely savage my dude, you brutalized him. Beautiful work
With Seth week you have two options, Panharmoniweek or MonoRed prison week and i don't think we will ever see the whole crew playing the second option ever xD
I’m here for that option though
But if everyone is red prison, no one is red prison :)
This may be the best game of the season. I think each of you were winning at different points! Lots of back and forth. And Phil was playing so tight with that Mana Drain tutor + poker face. 😂
The fact that Crim called it though was equally as impressive.
I've gotten got by situations like this before. Isn't it always correct to tap artifact mana before land mana for this exact reason?
I love watching phil finally counter crim's big 7 drop
Seeing Phill playing Rhinos in the title card got me so hyped. Very excited to see whose triggers crash MTGO.
Very excited for Seth Week but seeing the title immediately made me so sad to know he's taking the season off :(
Aww I knew eventually Seth would rotate out. Favorite Magic content creator, always brings great energy and great shirts. This season’ll be weird, but I’m excited to see who the guest is (hoping it’s Justin Parnell).
Enjoy your vacation Seth!
second the Justin Parnell!
We’re going to miss you Seth! Also really fun to watch Phil get his counter game on in this one
Now I'm just thinking about what Phil Week will look like once that rolls around. Gonna be fun to see everyone playing over the top GUx value machines.
Omnath Vs Omnath Vs Omnath Vs Omnath
@@JaxonUm They technically already did that
Simic value week.
I love Seth's deckbuilding. He always makes an interesting deck to fit the themes and some of the synergies he puts together are really cool, especially the jankier weeks. Will miss him pining for value but will also look forward to his return.
Can’t wait for next season to see the new commander clash member, Richard’s baby!
Phil: *searches up a counter*
Crim: "Are YOU approaching me?!"
This was one of, if not the single most suspenseful episodes, I can remember!
Everyone was close, the lead changed fluently and frequently.
Enjoyed this tremendously.
A bit sad to see seth step away for a season, but this was one hell of a last hooray.
Within a second of reading the title, I went from excited for a episode full of Panharmonicons, to sad realizing we would need to miss Seth for a season.
Nice episode! This was a great one to watch.
Guesses on how many games we’ll go next season before Seth is back as a guest/fill-in?
My guess is 4
Panharmommycon comes out in just a few weeks. I'd be more disappointed if he wasn't back for that one 😅
I will be so happy to watch commander clash but be so mad missing Seth. A myth, an icon, not a believer in casting his commander. You’ll be missed but can’t wait for the next season. I can’t say enough how appreciative I am of the constant content everyone and y’all have one of the best group chemistries in the magic community! Thanks for keeping us entertained day in and day out, love the goldfish crew!
crim with the absolute soul read on that mana drain tutor
I'm so sad to see Seth go but will be absolutely thrilled if Richard makes a comeback. Either way I'm sure next season will be a blast as usual
The way they’ve been talking about it, it’s gonna be someone new to the roster.
@@Crunchatize_Me_Senpai Yeah, and with the baby I think it will be a while before we see Richard as a regular again.
I think Tomer said it is someone old school from past. Also Richard said on the main channel that he doesn't really enjoy commander
@frost Thatll be interesting. I started watching after this channel was made so I haven't heard any of the older cast before besides whoever was on episode 1 because I watched that lol
@@Crunchatize_Me_Senpai That'll be fun. It'll be neat to see some new play styles
1:15:46 The Oscar goes to Phil for the straight face XD
No seth, this isnt commander edition of 100 rhinos. It actually runs Siege Rhino
Phil rocking the good old Titus Wear! Do a Kickflip?!
Damn Tomer was salty this episode! A great episode though - 100 siege rhinos in commander is epic
I don't blame him. Seth was in a commanding position and he was sitting at 6 life, but one single board wipe putting Sun Titan back on the field and now the entire table is pushing the narrative that Tomer is OBVIOUSLY going to win if they don't all focus him down at once. And then he can't do anything and gets killed a turn later.
This is a theme I look forward to even though I’m gonna miss Seth!
Seth: I got to "Clash on" on my last episode. -> Crim: I´m gonna be in the next 10 seasons.
The title of this episode is such gas
HOLY!!! THAT RHINO DECK, I HAVE TO MAKE IT!!!
Awesome content, cheers from Brazil
Needed Vince here to play Blood Moon & Land Destruction - the dark half of the Seth
Bye Seth! Hope to see you at least three or four times in the upcoming season!
I’m gonna miss Seth, always brought a good attitude and fun decks. Thanks for the good times!
Seth will be missed next season but hopefully he enjoys the much deserved season long break.
Seth is the gamer I aspire to be publicly, but secretly I want to be Crim 🤣 The whole cast makes Goldfish the most special and entertaining channel. The only channel I have loved from my start and still watch :)
Crim's read on the the dig up tutor and mana drain was unreal the asian avenger is too in synch with the counter magic, could smell that spell in Phil's hand
It's at least nice knowing that when one of the commander clash members takes a season off, another great member comes back on.
Seth is a treasure. He makes the best content and is definitely the RUclipsr I'd most like to have a beer with.
Awesome episode today!
Out of context:
Seth: I do want to see the thing
Phil: I'm pretty sure you are going to like it
crim sniffing out the mana drain is actually top tier.
wow ive been gone for awhile (no one had a face cam) but glad to see seth with panharmonicon lolol
Reading the automatically created subtitles does add a lot of spice, when the AI is trying to figure out card names... or Tomer's name.
Tons of good moments, but I loved Seth's pun at @1:40:07
These player weeks have fascinating metagames, what with all the player-specific tech and counterplays. Super enjoyable game!
Just got here. Please tell me someone slammed a blood moon!
Just started watching this, 20min in and it just so happens my 4 copies of panharmonicon came in the mail today as I'm watching lol
Absolutely AMAZING episode guys!
surprised this game isnt 14 hours long if its Seth week ;)
It’s gonna be hard to watch commander clash without Seth lol it’s been a long time. Gonna be interesting I’m curious to see who the new person will end up being.
I am part of the 3% for fable of the mirror breaker. I play it in my Obeka deck as a back up to my zelous or combat celebrant combo. Its also just a good value play for the mana value if you even just copy shadowmage infiltrator, consecrated sphynx or anything else like that.
Noooo not Seth!
i wanna see crim play tivit so badly , bet hed have alot of fun
We need to bring this intro back
On this week of "Punt or Bluff?" All Will Be Seth. Will Crim be the first compleated Panharmonicon or will Phil find a way to stave off the dulcet tunes of that organ and escape unscathed? Tune-in to find out!
Don't forget dihada when talking about the greatest planeswalker commanders. If you build your deck right, you can have flying indestructible blockers with lifelink every turn. Or just play legendaries with death touch?
I'm always falbbergasted at how little they value life totals, especially Seth. I understand that its a ressource, it's also how you actually win the game.
How can we miss you if you won't go away?
Gutted that Seth is leaving! Glad that Tomar and Crim isnt leaving though.
It is gonna feel emptier without Seth's shining personality. Gonna miss him, but I'm sure the games are still gonna be fun. It least we won't have Crim Seth alliance :D
I hope next season will end up the exact same way it ended up last time Seth was out of the roster - with Seth filling in for people so many times it's like he never left.
At least unlike Tomer, Seth isn't fired until next season
I literally have the deck that Seth tried to build. I wish I could have given him my list.
Esika is one of my favorite commanders I've built, I have a budget god tribal deck that uses her and a budget super friends deck that uses the prismatic bridge and I keep them in the same box. But overall I've seen a lot more people use her as just a prismatic bridge deck than esika
Clash on!
Oh no! I will miss Seth on CC! It's pretty much ubiquitous.
I guess it's time for a rewatch of the entire main channel.
Why didn't Seth put kroxa or archon of cruelty in his deck they're like the best ones with that restriction.
Archon's in there, Kroxa was probably an oversight tho
For Mirrordin!
1:12:00 all this would be solved with Bogardan Hellkite
I'm surprised none of the Eminence Commanders made the top 10 list. I think the takeaway is people overestimate commander cards more often than not. They hear about a particular nasty scenario and immediately give their stamp of "evil" on it. Brago is definitely top because even a new player accidentally breaks it (I've seen it first hand). Korvold is also a breakable commander, and the reason is because they are not "may" abilities. Commanders like Urza, built by someone trying to win, are obviously top-tier evil. But, a casual player builds their decks less than tightly synergistic, and they forget triggers.
I suppose the takeaway from my point is like the inconsistency between players concerning power level, so does the definition of casual. For me, casual encompasses precons and players who don't really know how to improve them significantly (or don't understand the suggested improvements but do them anyways).
If we're establishing a spectrum, I'd say MTGGoldfish is more like SEDH (or serious EDH). They aren't just trying to have fun (though they make fun-focused decisions for the viewers), they're actively trying to win or (come in second) by being strategic and competitive. A casual player should misplay the crap out of the decks they build.
At Seth, this is why Swiftfoot Boots > Lightning Greaves.
Lord Windgrace is by far my favorite planeswalker commander
You will be missed Seth!
saheeli the gifted was really strong
"oh, you should know.. ixalan sucks" -seth
Still sad that Tomer has given up on the MTG Sippy Cup
Somewhat surprised no one played Norin. Thats a deck that loves panharmonicon AND blood moon, although I guess it would be a little boring since it would just be very standard norin.
I somehow fear the inevitible crim week.
1:27:20 crim forgot to attack with ashen rider
I'll miss Seth next season!
Did Tomer dye his hair pink and did it fail miserably and doesn't he want to show us? It's been two weeks already with the Rot Wolf
Yeah this is what I am wondering. Recovering from plastic surgery?
Petition to save Elesh Norn for when Seth is back or plays as a guest. XD
Phil, Tomer, and of course Seth brought some really fun Seth decks. It was a shame that crim just brought basically esper control
Calling my shot - I bet it's Justin Parnell as the feature next season.
Nooo not Seth, also Seth week is going to be great
I'm so excited for a season of not hearing "I wanna see your deck do stuff but I have to kill you, I'm so sorry" from someone who bullies people from turn 3.
Seth, fired again!
As far as Commander Planeswalkers, Mardu Dihada is a boss!
I'm gonna miss Seth. Here's hoping Richard returns.
I know it is Seth week but I had to root for Phil's deck, killing someone with a Siege Rhino is a top 5 feeling in EDH.
Seth should have been allowed to proxy the new Elesh Norn this week
I have died to that bug not untapping the tokens on untap when I was counting on the mana on the next turn. So brutal because that is a really bad card if it doesn't work the way it is suppose to.
41:05 Doesn't work with Aminatou, she can only flicker stuff you own.
I'm gonna miss Seth 💔
Awesome game! What’re finale!
I think that this is an OK budget but if you increase it to like to 30 or 35 dollars you get a bit better game play with having finishers and safer access to more colors while also having that penny pincher feeling of my deck needs a lot of synergy to make up for bad cards overall
