Yes,discovred them via good old late dj john peel radio one back in da roaring 80's. Still kickin it !
Saw them in Cambridge. My daughter's first 'proper' gig at about 13. She loved it and insisted on moshing and despite my concerns she held her own.
Ten yrs ago ,the young fella i was buying my medication from ,played me newboys the ArcticMonkeys- i leant him my old George Best cassette saying "these were original " -he wouldn't give it back ! Love from the new forest

The audience were zombies or were all coming down from some sort of performance related sports supplements or something. This is one of my favourite bands and to see them in such an intimate place would have been a privilege. Love the Weddoes
+Ian Davies . Nobody has a clue who they are!! I remember their greatness back in Ireland. I live in Austin now, I have never heard them mentioned even on public radio which is usually good about lesser known British bands
Yes, the Wedding Present were always reassuringly exclusive. Following their career has always been a niche activity -even in the UK
They had like 10 number 10 songs in the early 90s every month in one year to show how small single sales were. Love the Wedges

Here David Gedge has mellowed his rendition of his great lyrics, but the environment has a lot to do with it. I saw them twice in October 2012 in France, at evening gigs, sure, small venues, but the energy was still there. And Pepe,,,Pepe,... my GF wanted to take up bass after seeing her.

The last Cinerama gig in Edinburgh was pure Shit and I told him so at the cd stall. Thank fck he took my advice and reformed the Weddos. He hasn't looked back and the latest album was great.....Hope I helped a bit there.. and Shug Clarke you gave it too him as well...Give My Love To Kevin
personally i think to critisize any performance given is simply shocking..so what you paid your shite money to watch n listen..not insult the artists..maybe one was ill that day and went the extra mile to try satisfy loving fans and ,dare i say a few assholes like mr scott bawsack kellock and shug the mug clarke....shame on youz
