Ten yrs ago ,the young fella i was buying my medication from ,played me newboys the ArcticMonkeys- i leant him my old George Best cassette saying "these were original " -he wouldn't give it back ! Love from the new forest
Hey Mat Durrance knows his onions :). I love the rawness that has come out of these bike shop gigs. Pepe Le Moko nicely involved. Going into Heather - always been a wonderful song - one of the best.
Here David Gedge has mellowed his rendition of his great lyrics, but the environment has a lot to do with it. I saw them twice in October 2012 in France, at evening gigs, sure, small venues, but the energy was still there. And Pepe,,,Pepe,... my GF wanted to take up bass after seeing her.
The last Cinerama gig in Edinburgh was pure Shit and I told him so at the cd stall. Thank fck he took my advice and reformed the Weddos. He hasn't looked back and the latest album was great.....Hope I helped a bit there.. and Shug Clarke you gave it too him as well...Give My Love To Kevin
personally i think to critisize any performance given is simply shocking..so what you paid your shite money to watch n listen..not insult the artists..maybe one was ill that day and went the extra mile to try satisfy loving fans and ,dare i say a few assholes like mr scott bawsack kellock and shug the mug clarke....shame on youz
Haha yeah he fucks up and he know's it. Passes it over though like he don't care and it's a valid reaction. He has all those new songs to sing! It's a go-damn heathen thing to do, though!!!
Yes,discovred them via good old late dj john peel radio one back in da roaring 80's. Still kickin it !

Saw them in Cambridge. My daughter's first 'proper' gig at about 13. She loved it and insisted on moshing and despite my concerns she held her own.
Just see them in Hong Kong. Been a fan since 86. So so good! What an amazing live sound, what energy. I hope they return soon.
The drummer is always smiling : )
Wouldn't you?
they still got it :) they are amazing
Pepe Le Moko is a totally classy musician. Love her
Reminded me why I loved George Best so much!! Like the Girl too.. Finished it off with my favourite song aswell, Brilliant!!!
Oh, it's so good! As Scotsguy said, fantastic quality! Thank you!! ^^

Reminds me of college parties '87

Saw them in paris rory gallagher gig in 93? twenty in the crowd he signed me a flyer great gig
Rory Gallagher and the Weddoes in one gig? Wow, only in my dreams.. Rory is a hero of mine, David is too..
Was that crowd dug up from somewhere??? Jokers...loved the weddoes
Stuart seaton what the Fuck you on about?? Clean? It's as raw as live music can be
+JUDASLAF ...cleaner than Mellow Johnny's palmares....
not the same quality but PPutt2006 has a corduroy video from sxsw with some good energy of old
Is that a picture of Lance Armstrong in the background ?????
I recognise Dave, who are those other guys?
I would have paid a lot to be there..lucky SOBs
Fuckin bike shop. I saw you at LSU. Three times.
A daytime gig in a bike shop in front of 30 people is not going to have the "energy of old". What it does have is Pepe Le Moko :)
Can’t believe he forgot his own lyrics to ‘My Favourite Dress’!😅
Haha yeah he fucks up and he know's it. Passes it over though like he don't care and it's a valid reaction. He has all those new songs to sing! It's a go-damn heathen thing to do, though!!!
At 10:50mins he tells a whopping great lie!!!
Mike Ambigious AND I think playing in a Bike Shop is punching above their weight hehehe!
Idiot!
Know Gedge's name; never heard of you though, pal...
oh god...its Lance Armstrongs shop
mellow johnny = maillot jaune = yellow jersey
Gedge plus skint yank mates. Fair enough. Gotta make a living.
this is hot better than the jam in the van bullshit
Never seen so many people complain on a RUclips video than both of the KEXP The Wedding Presents Live videos. lol
It's kinda cute though.. especially when the drummer realises....
Love this band, but the mix was way off for whatever reason
Sound's a bit too clean, needs beefed up a bit. Too clinical.
Was für ein Publikum...trauriger Verein..
