No, I think the humor should be left where it is, the trilogy is a gem that doesn't need to be continued. They'll just recycle the ideas and jokes! Unless they really craft the script to cater to the modern audience they better get a damn good screenwriter!

He had a few quirks and some people felt he was difficult to work with. The studio and he made peace with it though when they begin production with cat in the hat. But that really ruined his reputation and that is why he’s called a dick. I can see how it would put a lot of people off and how Innoway I guess it was inconsiderate of himI guess it depends on how you look at it in one sense it could be viewed as selfish because the studio last money and the people that were working at the studio last money due to Mike Myers personal preference with the script.
