Badlands in my opinion are still one of the grestest rock bands of the last 40 years. Saw them 3 times and they absolutely tore the roof off every time. Jakes hands down my biggest influence as a player and Ive had the chance to hang with him a handful of times, just a humble down to earth no BS guy and Greg and I have become buddies on FB...he's also just a genuinely great no BS guy and a monster bassist. As much as I love Ultimate Sin...can you imagine how much better that record would be with Gregs heavy ass bottom end on that record?! Would have made a great album even better. Great show gents. Always good to see and head Greg talk shop. Keep up the good work. Cheers 🤘🏻
I've watched a lot of interviews with Greg and the guys in Atomic Kings (so I've heard some of these stories), but this may have been the best. Heard some things I hadn't heard before and am stoked that Gregg may be recording new songs in the future with Atomic Kings! As a bass player, I love his playing and have got most of the various albums he's played on - Atomic Kings is, in my opinion, his best work since Badlands.
I’m so happy that you really like this interview. In my podcast, Is It Wrong, I do just that, talk about things others asking. Thats what I do. Please watch others as well and if you like them. Please hit the like button and share with your friends. I recently did a podcast with Todd La Torre and that was different than all other Podcast. He has done as well. Check it out brother thanks again.
Great interview with incredible stories. Best news was hearing that Atomic Kings is back on track with Greg as an essential member. Love it🤘and look forward to hearing the new material.
Great interview! I have all the Die Happy albums and the Red Sea one. I'd like to get the Badlands albums but they are expensive. I didn't know he was on a Darrell Mansfield album. I have Darrell's first few albums and I don't have the one he played on. I would of liked to hear about his faith or what the believes in but maybe it wasn't the right time.
@@soldier7778 Yeah he said afterwards that he is a man of faith but really didn’t get into it So glad you liked this podcast. Please like and share if you would like to Thank you so much.

That Red Sea album is in my top 10. Alot of albums you don't notice the bass but that bass is awsome in that album.
Jeremy. That’s cool brother. Great album. I am good friends with Guitarist Chris Sorense too
