- Legendary bassist Greg Chaisson from Badlands and Atomic Kings talks about the gear he used to record five tracks on Cross Country Driver's record the "New Truth alongside such greats as Vivian Campbell, Mike Mangini, dUg Pinnick and Rhonda Smith.
Greg and Rob have a long history together which includes Rob singing on Greg's solo record on the song "The River" (link below) and at one point being asked to join Badlands on vocals. It was a great honor for us to have Greg on this record!

Thank you so much for the kind words🤠
Greg's playing on an incredibly obscure album - Intense Live by Die Happy - pretty much changed my life or at least my view of what role bass could play in rock and acoustic songs in particular.
Twenty-five years later as I'm finally getting serious about bass (after years on guitar, banjo, etc), it occurs to me that he must have other music and stuff up on the interwebs.
P.S. But how is the Tubescreamer modified?!
It’s modded by Keeley, they had some kind of chip that tightens up the low end. Thanks for the kind words🤠
