Persephone Pants is my go-to pattern. I’ve probably made at least ten pairs in every conceivable fabric; denim, twill, upholstery, even heavy flannel (dressy pajama mashup!) ❤ I love your channel. Your excitement and playfulness while sewing and creating is very inspiring. Thank you! 🎉

Even though you aren't the happiest with the fit, I still think that what you have made is amazing!!! And such a reason to make practice versions of clothing. Your use of patchwork inspired me to make some puffy sleeves with leftover bunting that I couldn't give my sister, and smaller offcuts are making a hat decoration to match - you've been lovely to watch this week

I am going to hopefully finish your milkmaid dress today from a $10 bedding set from the thrift store! Do you use a zipper foot? I have yet to figure out the right one for my machine and buy it.

@@sashharae oooh I hope it goes well! Good luck! There’s no zipper in the milkmaid so I just use a regular foot. 💖

omg! loveeeee the patch pockets in fun shapes!! I totally feel you on being frustrated by the wedgie but they are still amazing!
I'm currently working on a draft of the Gracie Steel darling dress before making the final for a friend's wedding! my first time doing a legit invisible zip and it was *so stressful* but she is, in fact, invisible :')
P.S. does everyone in Oz say "love heart"? it is literally the cutest word, and ever since I heard my partner's mother say it (whose mother was an Aussie) I'm obsessed with it hahaha

Wow!! I’m so impressed with these shorts! 🤩 And with your persistence to keep trying for the right fit! Pants and shorts especially with a zipper always intimidate me 😅 but I’m so grateful for the tips you shared! I’d love to give this pattern a try! 🩳
Also I LOVE that starfish pocket! 🌟 Making shapes into pockets is one of my favorite things. So cute 💖
I’m working on altering a dress for a neighbor - then hoping to start on a patchwork twirly dress! 👗

Thank you Ellen! Hopefully I get them right next time. You can totally do it - zippers are so within reach!
Also thank you so much. I think shaped pockets will need to happen again!!

These are so cool! I love the patches/ pockets. Shame about the inseam wedgie situation. I don't sew, but I find your videos so interesting and educational. The fabric choice was amazing; corduroy fabric is so comfy. I have some blue corduroy dungarees and I love them.

Thank you for making content and sharing it with us. Definitely, it's so soft and comfortable. My mum got married in a purple corduroy jumpsuit in the 80s!

The visual of how to do the fly facing is so helpful! Working on a similar pair and was struggling, but this makes sense! Also your wrist pin cushion made me think of fairy bread! ❤️😊

Great shorts! Maybe they will stretch a bit when wearing? 😉 I am making a checkered blouse, trying to pattern match and be zero waste. I love your vibe!
Question what thickness of interfacing do you use?
    Groetjes from The Netherlands

Oh that’s a great point. Ohhhhh good luck with the pattern matching - such a rewarding endeavour! I have no idea what the thickness was for this one… maybe like a medium weight!

i think you can fix the crotch by adding a gusset! should be easy to add if you have fabric scraps, but it might need to be hand sewn in
theyre also used to fix armholes that are too small
