It took me a few tries but I figured it out eventually! super cool tool, thanks for sharing!
what ive realised in terms of moneyball in fm - and football is that it cant be incredibly accurately executed.people playing different roles, teams playing different tactics will change stats and therefore tilt some key stats
100% true mate! Someone’s pressing stats in a 5 back negative team might be awful but he’s the perfect player for your team and won’t be found with moneyball, sadly just the way it works!
Awesome video, just a tip if you press ctrl + a it will select all of the players on minute 9:45

The data can be quite inaccurate if you don’t have all the leagues loaded and playable. Great video!

8:37 should i include lower division leagues if i want to increase the number of players? Will it disrupt the "accuracy" of the data? Eg serie B 7.0 player rating is not same as la liga 7.0 player rating
You can do bud! You just have to keep exactly what you said in mind, you want the Serie B player playing EVEN better really and looking into individual stats more!

So, if i understood it right, the first requirement to get Moneyball right is to have a great scout team that will give you reports on players which will help have all the necessary data for the excel spreadsheet ?
Then when you get all that you can start chasing the bargains and the players you specifically need for your team ?
Because i've tried it but for many players (and i have a database of 70k players) i don't have all the data, so should i improve my recruitment team or change my recruitment focus ? or maybe prioritize my spreadsheet on the countries in which i have great scouting reports ?

Analysts aswell don’t forget! Your building a picture of there stats in game so there attributes you don’t really need to focus on 😀
Focus on the primary positions YOU NEED, not the best player available! Helps you build a well rounded squad!

how do i find out what a good BPD need (p.e.). Do you have a link where i can see that a Wing Back on support need xyz/90 or sth like that?
Hi mate! Really depends on what your looking for. I personally Look for good defensive actions and crossing stats on wing backs. Progressive passes and defensive actions for BPD 😬
Great vid! However when I import my filter it won’t let me pick a division because all the continents are greyed out?? What do I do??

I know this is an old vid, but does anybody have the problem when you copy paste, that excel changes the data to dates? Can't for the life of me figure it out why or how to stop the change!
Something to do with your excel settings I’d guess mate!
when copy in excel i n column av rating is always date od birth why?
You need to change that collum setting mate, top middle somewhere, needs to say number
In the excell file some parts of the percentiles tab are blacked out (shots/90 for example) does anyone know the fix?
I’ve had this a few times, seems to me that some stats don’t pull across? Make sure you have all leagues playable so it sims in detail
For anyone with this problem turns out you have to change decimal separator to . and thousands separator to ,
Or if you have it differently in FM it has to be the same in excel

Interesting video. Can I ask, how do you do the transfer (selling) part? Like when you determ a player is on it's peak or on the older side and you want to get rid of it, do you then put it on the transfer list or do you wait till a club offers a player a transfer?
Reason for asking, I have a copple of players listed for transfer, but I am not getting a single offer. Is that because I only have 4 databases loaded? I would love your take on this, thanks!
Hey! Really it’s just experience of knowing the max values of different players in diffenrt positions in different leagues!
To sell players I ask agent first, if nothing offer for transfer while transfer listing. Last up ask intermediaries over and over again 😂

Excel automatically turns the numbers into dates (Jul 20 for example). PLS HELP!! :(
Top bar in excel change the type to numbers rather than dates 😁

is there a filter you'd reccommend over average rating at the start of a new season? Need a striker but obviously the ratings are a bit skewed a game or to into a season
Errrrrr it’s very difficult once you’ve gone past the start of July to get this! I always make sure I’ve exported all positions by the start of June!
If it is start of the season
1. use minimum attribute search of your striker role Identify targets
2. see past season goals and rating
3. see personality
4. Check his other hidden attributes through scouting report.
The game tells me I cannot add the view to scouting centre panel. Why?
I’ve never had the issue mate! Check your importing the correct thing, if not Reddit is the one!

Im assuming this can only be used at the end of the season in a new save as there are no average ratings to go off at the start of a new save ?

Im 99% sure there’s no way to get it for free! You can use it on the game, just makes it more difficult to find the standout players!
Why should I use the excel and not just only the game?

@@KempiXI I’ve downloaded everything and unzipped but when I go to import in the game and open my views file, there’s nothing there. I’m assuming that’s bc I’m on mac? Unless there’s something I’m forgetting
Moneyball can't be replicated in Football Manager fully because the board will never understand what your trying to achieve and the decisions you are making
