⚡New data was just released showing DoorDash is not slowing down any time soon: ruclips.net/video/4CFABv-HAqk/видео.html
If you lived in the city and worked where they have their headquarters your life would be miserable.
Hey Mike! Do you have a video on the DoorDash Beta program? And what that IS exactly? It seems impossible to find any information about it. I keep seeing it under promotions and it is asking me to join, but it'd be nice to know what it is before I do. I'd just prefer to know the Pro's/Cons of it before I do. Does it offer me other options to make money? Or is it just for me to test out basically (and possibly less money) things and glitch even MORE then it normally does LOL! Even now (on Android) I have to restart my phone at least once a day, usually twice a day just to complete the order already after a DD app glitch haha. I'd really appreciate your help on this, and Love your videos!! Thank you!!
It’s slowing down for me lol. Once they decided to give me so many crap orders forcing me below 50% acceptance for the first time ever, they no longer give me many orders. I’ve been below 50% for three days and have been averaging one order per hour. It’s almost comical the way they are now operating.
But if declining to many offers gets you below your ratings and you lose top dasher perks and can't make income. Help us out on this problem please
@@sinclairfisher9328 well, you don’t want to spend time and money doing runs that are going to lose you money. I know you’re not driving for charity. So two and three dollar trips should never be accepted. And you should really have a second income when using DoorDash as a money making tool.
Just started and the first delivery I got I accepted not looking at details. 6 dollar pay for about an 8 mile delivery that went out of my zone AND across a 2 dollar tunnel. I had to get back to my zone which meant I paid 4 dollars in tolls on a 6 dollar Order. Learned lesson real quick to decline future ones like that
@@ThatDanielTv I don't know about DoorDash since I haven't started with them yet, but Uber Eats automatically reimburses tolls. I noticed the first time that it took me on a delivery route where I saw I was entering a toll road, which I normally have disabled for personal navigation in my Google Maps, so I was suprised like oh no, it hadn't warned me about that or anything. But I noticed when going through my earnings details for every order later to fill out my data spreadsheet, it just silently and automatically added the toll fare to my pay for that order
Turn off the tolls option. When that's on, they'll send you to Europe. F..k no!!!
LuL fuckin tolls.
That happen to me🙄
You'll get there. Learn that app bro. Best advice ever. Really really take your time at first. Don't rush.
New Dasher... I Made the mistake of dashing on the same day as a large Festival event in my smaller town. The towns mainstreet was literally closed. So made it nearly impossible to drive to those restaurants, no parking anywhere and if restaurant was on on the east side of town and delivery on the west you arent going to deliver very quickly.
Be aware of events in your area and how that will effect your dashing.
I had a customer try that address change crap the other day right after I picked up the food. She doubled the miles and wanted to send me in the opposite direction. I wasn't driving 30 miles round trip for $9.75
I called support and they offered me an additional $4. I refused. I took the food hack into the merchant and took the $6.75 half pay.
Yeah $13.75 for 30 miles still doesn't make sense. Only thing would be to try to 'Dash On The Way' back into your original zone but that could be a pain
@@YourDriverMike I couldn't. My shift was going to end and I am not a top dasher. I might have been able to get an uber eats order but I didn't want to drive back in heavy traffic.
It was originally 12 miles for $9.75 which was low but it was slow that day. I only took it cause it was 4.5 miles down and 7.5 back so I left home and planned on returning home after I finished. So when she switched the delivery I had no interest in delivering it that far out of the way.
I never had this happen before. The only problem I had was this gal ordered burgers and fries. The address was in the app. Then in the notes she wrote she was at a different number but on that street. I couldn't find the number. I called her no answer. I texted her asking her to please come out and that I can't find the number/house. I waited 8 minutes. No answer. Then I called support they don't me to leave the food at safe place. Couldn't do that cuz then food would go to waste. They told me to just keep it or throw it away. I kept it and gave it to some construction guys. Hopefully they ate it. I got mad at the gal that ordered the food because she just didn't answer. It's like she just ordered the food from her phone....isn't her phone with her??? Oh well. I got full pay plus tip so was happy about that
I had a similar case but I just left the order at the listed address and got full pay. They may have given me a 1 star rating but I've only had this happen once out of roughly 1000 orders.
@@DjPyro2010 I think that's what I'd do. The "contract" order was to deliver to the address she put with the order. That's where I'll deliver it!!!
Sure, you can decline orders, but DD punishes you be lowering your percentage for receiving higher paying orders.
Dashing in Georgia. Most orders a $1 a mile. anything less than a dollar automatic decline or ignore. I’ll try declining to accept better orders and see what happens with my acceptance rate. Low acceptance rate equals less “Dash now” ability. When my acceptance rate is high, I can go do “dash now” at my leisure. Otherwise I see “schedule” on the screen more. This is GA and not a large city so different ball game here.
Mikey your content has increased my earnings by over 10%. Thank you. A quick note on "higher paying orders" Ive received several of these delivery offers that have been $5 and less! So I finally called support and asked the definition and surprisingly there isn't one. I think it's no more than marketing.
This is gold! Door Dash is continually bringing in loads of new Dashers that are unaware or taking orders kind of blindly. The veteran dashers know which one’s to take or Decline- like any order paying less that $2 per mile. I hope the newest dashers are subscribing to this channel and learning early
But I feel like doing 1 or 2 low orders is good sometimes because the more you decline the less orders doorsash will give you
Like today I wait almost 1 hour without no orders in a busy zone and my ratings are high so tbh idk how all this dashers said they make $150-$200 a day 😅
@@elmerpleitez3445 yeah, I will just multi app instead of taking low paying orders. If I’m not making good money, it’s not worth my time and mileage. Gas is crazy expensive right now especially in Washington. Paid 4.60 per gallon today.
The high pay order program is insane in my area, made $28 an hour today. Every offer I took was a high pay order. Only declined 2.
I rarely decline but on a $4.50 order to go 11 miles I had to put a stop to that. I’ve only got 10 dashes so far but I thought peak pay short trips would be best. Turns out those in my area are all apartments that are really hard to navigate. For 5.5 hours I made $65.50. But most of this is my nerves, trying to make orders perfect and just driving waaaay too far for $6.50. I think a shorter trip from Asian sushi or ramen restaurants pay out the best. And those people tip good!
Word of advice: Dont stress about declining. Acceptance rate really doesn't mean anything. Trust me. They just use it to trick people into taking bad orders. Also, set a minimum pay for what you'll accept. For example, I don't take anything lower than $9 or $10. Also, aim for at LEAST $1 per mile for the order, preferably $2 or more per mile. So a $10 order to go 5 miles is perfect. I get a lot of those. Also try to do it during the lunch/dinner rush and near sit-down restaurants. Fast food places tend to have lower paying orders because people aren't going to tip much for small orders like just a burger and fries from McDonald's lol. Best of luck!
@@Roy_Jenkins_then you won’t qualify for DDs high order program
@@Roy_Jenkins_ I used to think that the acceptance rate "doesn't mean nothing" but that really isn't true. While you can't be deactivated for a low acceptance rate, it does mean something. If you run a business with multiple drivers, wouldn't you give better orders to the drivers who help you by accepting more of your orders and giving the rest to whoever is available in the area? The other proof is that if you meet a certain criterion, Doordash will send you a one-time offer to "reset your acceptance rate". It does mean something.
@@aftaahlifeacceptance rate isn’t in the requirements for the large order program.
I’ve gotten several routed deliveries and they are great. I had an pickup at pet smart with 6 deliveries. Got paid $60 and took me only an hour to do. They are the best types of delivery’s in my opinion.
I had the address change on me I was pissssed! I left it at original address and act like I didn't see it 😁
@yourdrivermike1 no prob how do I get in touch
I got my first routed delivery last night. 8 stops and 19 pizzas from pizza hut. Paid $32 and in total it was 15 miles. I wouldn't mind doing routed again if it wasn't so many orders. Lucky pizzahut gave me a couple more pizza bags to complete the order, they were stunned on how many i was picking up xD
For #2.. I take the food to the GPS spot.. after that.. it's on the customer
Exactly. Im not going anywhere the GPS doesn't show.
Yep
I don’t do any incentives. Peak pay just intends to get you out there, it doesn’t mean you’re going to make more per hour. They are hoping with more Dashers on the road, more will accept no tip orders.
I did a "routed order" and it was an unfortunate experience. It was a $30 order for the Hunger Task Force. Thirty drop-offs to shut-ins in a bad part of town. Two hours of work. $3.00 per drop off. It was unfortunate because I went in not knowing what I was getting into. If I had known, it was a charity customer I would have prepared better. But I did it and completed the order.
I have 89% acceptance rate and still get bad offers like I got offer yesterday for
17 miles for $ 4.25 how could ANYONE make money with that offer . And how could doordash even send an offer that ridiculous .
I had the address changed customer last week after almost a year dashing. Called support to cancel it and got myself a free delicious meal 😋.
I started DoorDash a few weeks ago and I’ve become so frustrated. I really only get $25 for 3 hours because I obviously got to put gas in. My effort of accepting all orders and navigating apartments/gated communities has really made me mad for so little pay. I’m about to binge your videos to make this job worth it lol
Learning the apartments and roads is just part of starting any driving job. Not a reason to stop, just learn the areas. That will always take time. Cabins and rental areas will have maps if you go to the office.
@@rosemadder55475547 Agreed. There is a learning curve to any job you do. I started in the middle of July and am giving myself 3 months minimum. On my first day, I worked in a torrential downpour and got my first 1-star rating. No pizza bags, just me running into apartment buildings with customers' food. The bags got a little wet and I got some 1-stars from that. I learned I needed a pizza bag. I learned that Doordash will provide you with one for free with their "New Dasher" program after you meet certain criteria. Videos like this are extremely helpful. And I've worked up to a 4.76 customer rating in that month and a half. Just got to give it time.
Are you still doing it. Are you getting any better
Are you still doing it. Are you getting any better
Freaking same!
I started recently and so far it has been fun, a lot of mcdonalds deliveries within a few miles for 6-12 bucks each. I like being able to choose my hours and the areas I like and earlier tonight went out and delivered and then went home for a quick break and then went back out because it was busy and it is very easy to do and it is way better than my last job in retail making 11 bucks an hour and having to run a busy store. Also having a hybrid car really helps keep the cost of gas down. Never had someone try to do an address change yet, they have all been leave at the door ring the bell and leave. I also setup my backseat with some sturdy bins and things so when I get another order with four large shakes with openings in the top I don't have to worry about them tipping over at every turn. Have fun out there!
Hi Mike, I recently did a Routed delivery. I was paid $23.00 to deliver NINE turkeys to NINE different customers. The deliveries were all in close proximity of each other. Most of the customers were elderly people getting ready for Thanksgiving.🙂
Food pantries use doordash to deliver which is fine if they compensate appropriately because there won’t be a tip. They are usually multiple boxes or bags per person and they always send out in batches. I understand it’s charity but I don’t deliver for free. I just turn it off in the nights a local church does theirs. They want me to take three deliveries of nine boxes for 6.50.
@@SupersquishyawesomenessIt sounds like these charities expect you to do all the free work. I guarantee you that most people at these charities are getting paid.
I've had that address change happen twice. I called support on both and they cancelled and paid me. And I got free food!
Man, Thank you so much.. Ive been going HAM on your vid's..I felt comfortable going into day 1 ( 4 days ago) and ive been crushing it since..! Much love from New Castle PA (north of you).. Thank you.
They changed it on me before. Added 6 miles. I brought the order back to the store and unassigned it. Lolol
When they have peak pay you get pinged with garbage orders
Base pay should be 5.00 minimum
Drivers stop taking anything below 5.00
Thank you for this!
Regarding cancelations, use them for when doordash has an error. As in your accept a fair pay order but the pickup time is off. I had a dash to my zone to a mcdonalds but the pickup time was only 2 minutes from now but the restaurant was 10 min away. Definitely a doordash error. It did not make sense. Best to bail and not get a contract violation.
The other night night a certain zone was $4 peak pay but the hourly pay was +$8 per hour. I did the hourly and spent 45 minutes sitting in a White Castle drive thru line. Every minute I was so.glad I took.the hourly rate.
Another good video. Thanks.
Thank you!
I just started and I have definitely learned some valuable lessons! On two different occasions I waited around 5 min for their order to be done. I made sure to keep the food warm and got it there asap! I drove over 15-20 miles and both customers didn’t tip me. All of that driving for 8 dollars and some!!! Lesson learned!
Here in Pittsburgh/monroeville and got a Petsmart order for three different orders all at once and had two hours to deliver. For $39 dollars. It was our first week dashing I declined. I had me going to Greensburg and Irwin and I forget the other stop. I didn’t think it was worth it. But I might have been wrong.
I just eat their food and cancel their order cuz they don’t ever wanna call door dash. To change their address
Dang, if I only accepted 1.75 a mile in my area I would have a 0% AR. I'm lucky to drive a PHEV that pulls about 80mpg or more regularly. I have no idea how anyone out here with a V6 or SUV make any money at all here.
I suppose I just recently hit a new order type. A 5 stop delivery for a Floral company total miles 19, for 18.50 LuL. Not sure 50 bucks would even look enticing.
It blows my mind that there is a range. With all of the garbage-pay orders going 15-20 miles that have been offered to me, it must be pretty damn big.
For REALZ !!!!!
I also unassign on a stacked order sometimes. Sometimes it's just not worth my time to deliver one of the orders.
I have a regular nine-to-five that pays pretty good but I wanted some extra money, so I started doordashing about 2 weeks ago. First week they roped me in with pretty reasonable deliveries, to the point where I mostly accepted them all. Fast forward to about a week and a half later and I'm getting vs deliveries that are like $3.50. Yesterday they sent me to two restaurants both of which had closed 40 minutes prior to me arriving and getting the notification to pick up the order. You'd think they do a better job making sure the restaurants were open so people aren't wasting gas
The app sucks. It should be offering to the closest people that are dashing for them and then giving them orders to and from that order and then to and from the first order that gets accepted instead of this one at a time bullshit unless you get offered another order at the same restaurant that you're going to. They clearly don't know what they're doing and or have never delivered anything before. There definitely should be some kind of strategy on their part but from out perspective it doesn't seem that way.
Today was my first day and that's what they did to me. Decent orders at first and then it was nothing but $3 trips to drive 8 miles. My acceptance went down real quick once I started declining all of them.
The other day I was out late and $6 peak pay showed up. Had no idea it would get that high in my area.
Had the address change happen yesterday. A customer called me after I picked up a double order which I was going to deliver the opposite order first which headed south (and their original address was south too) then called and said they are actually located DOWNTOWN, but since it was a solid 21 dollar order alone (despite the 14 mile drive) I just told the guy to not do that in the future in a respectful manner
I had a customer ordered food with their home address and changed address to a high school further away.
@@SimplySammy923what did you do
Yesterday was my third day in Milwaukee burbs. Still figuring things out, but my densely populated restaurant area is on the edge of the zone I live in. DD has been sending me on deliveries just outside my zone and then I have to drive back onto my zone to receive more orders. Wasted time and miles.
I figured out that about 1.5 miles from where I currently live, is another hot zone that consistently offers peak pay. Traffic is a bit worse, but going to try it.
34 deliveries in 3 lunch shifts driving 7 hours. $430. Not bad. Having fun! $200 of that was a bonus though
I notice that between what DD pays and the tips,we make more on the tip side.
I've heard of the running multiple apps is frowned upon, I guess now? I have been doing Door dash for 3 weeks now and decided to put in my 2 weeks at my job to do full time DD, so videos like this a bunch, Thanks! now just need to get a book etc to track miles etc and learn the better practices. some days are better than others while i can make 200 in a day, the next day will be 50.00 lol that's Illinois for you I guess.
I’m in Illinois and thinking about starting as well, what area is best for you ? If you don’t mind me asking
In New Jersey in my area one dash zone encompasses Camden and Medford so I always gotta make sure I’m not getting an order to Camden on a Saturday night… I have accidentally done a few and it’s pretty sketchy
dude i was dropping a car off in Camden years ago with a tow truck. i thought a bomb had gone off or something, place was so rough it made the slums in Manila look nice.
I have got the cash on delivery, and had to carry change for a large bill, then no tip. I personally won’t do them.
The Las Vegas strip is always peak pay, but definitely not worth it. Even if there wasn't constant construction and side streets weren't down to one lane, you have to go through paid parking garages to pick up food and the go through the pain of finding the right place for dashers at the hotel and then pray the customer is down in time. Once we had an order where the guests hadn't even checked in yet and the front desk wanted to refuse the order because it contained perishables. A nightmare.
I used to let the counter run down when DD still did 3 step declines. Now that they've updated it finally, I always manually decline.
I dash on the side but I got one these routed deliveries that came in the other day it’s was $98 for 10 deliveries for Petco. It was gonna be a one stop to pick up all the items and then 80mile drive between all the 10stops I had to go into my actual job and didn’t have the time to take it so I refused it but I have seen one of those come in before.
Lately uber eats has been a better overall option here in San Diego, but on any given day you just never know.
Had a 5 star rating and always get priority orders. Had one person give me a thumbs down for delivery instructions. I follow them to a tee and ofcourse takes pics that are required. . 5 star rating went to a 4.7 and I am not happy. Can't figure out what it was. Grr
you can not make everyone happy
I have done it before for pharmacy pick ups. I had 4 in one order. The locations were close, so it wasn't bad.
Seems pretty straightforward!
There's a market in ny large orders running from Macy's $60 to $80 per order but it's 10 drops like you're delivering packages
I live in a small town and it’s always busy and I always multi app meaning I have to deliver a UE while I have to pick up a DoorDash order. I hope I don’t get in trouble but I always deliver them in time.
I got a $6.00 peak pay in Pittsburgh just last Saturday.
My order was corrected from doctor office because he was at home on Saturday.
How much further was it?
I've had the issue in Calgary, Alberta that Doordash claims every change of address is outside the restaurants delivery zone. The last time, the new address was within walking distance of the restaurant while the original address was 6 miles away. I was getting the impression that Doordash lies about address change eligibility so that they don't have to pay the drivers extra so I find it interesting that address changes are still happening in other markets.
That's odd especially as the one delivery was in the immediate zone. Make sure to let DD know that could just be a programming thing that needs fixed (radiuses)
@@YourDriverMike It's been a fight with "premium" Dasher support every time. There seems to be no interest in investigating a technical issue if there is one. The only time in the last 6 months that I got them to approve a change of address was when I had 2 orders for the same customer, from the same restaurant, going to 2 different addresses. Very hard to argue outside the zone when I'm already delivering to that address. I appreciate your reply though, it's good to know this isn't a common doordash practice even if that information doesn't get me anywhere.
Im brand new to DD. 2 days in. Almost every offer i get is between $4-$7. Anything higher is usually double the miles compared to the dollars earned. Im not driving 16 miles to earn $10. I have a 53% acceptance rate because the offers are so low
The orders I accept also include bathroom breaks!
If it’s closer to the restaurant I’m cool with a different address but if it’s farther, they have to wait for me to get ahold of support or they have to cxl and reorder. That simple
With changed addresses, I had only 1 and it was 3 minutes away so I just delivered it.
In DFW area I ve seen up to 5$ peak pay
But anything up to 3+ peak pay I don’t receive a lot of orders peak pay slows down business in my area and of course my AR is lower then 10% most of the time
1. Peak pay is not worth it DD lowers base pay and late night are long drive-thru and small orders
2. Do not accept Petco they pay $3 regardless of miles or heavy pet food and never tip. I once delivered to Beverly hills in front of Rolls Royce for $3 no f'ing tip!!!
3. Don't be afraid to call support to cancel if emergency like accident road closure tree down etc. U will get 1/2 pay and free food
4. Cup caddy and headband flashlight are must also battery bank and waterproof phone case
5. Unassign Indian Chinese and Armenian they NEVER tip
1 isn’t true sometimes. For example if you’re scheduled and it starts raining out of nowhere peak pay may come on and I made a lot like that.
I did a Petco order last week. 5 stops, 12 miles for $39.00. 2 were non tippers but still got the $3.00 base fee. The other three tipped. Was okay with that.
@@jerrycole7039 that's not bad. One above was 18 miles 7 drops $31. Only 2/5 tipped Rolls Royce was farthest and $3 no tip
I agree that is horrible. I have also fallen for the "order may be higher " notes on some offers. Never is it higher.
pro tip Buy a extra charger or battery pack I can't tell you how many times people have an issue with an order and then can't fix it holding up everyone else. separate your orders as well
Better yet, keep your phone plugged in while driving. I’ve got a 20W USB-C PD charger in my car’s cigarette-lighter jack with a USB-C-to-Lightning cable permanently plugged into it and I always use this combination on delivery runs, with good reason.
I have a magnetic charger combo so my phone is always charging!
Yes i have seen it in mine
😊Is there a way to keep your phone cooled down when doing deliveries? I keep it on holder that is connected to the air vent clipped on so sometimes in sun but when it gets hot I have to put on cold ac, is there another way to keep it cooled???
Yep 👍
Ill never deliver hyvee grocery. Especially, flowers. People NEVER tip on flower orders. Ive been gyped into three.
In Canada we have a real problem getting tote bags and pizza bags. Orders not sent out.
What about when you do a shop and delivery and they add items to the order after you get to the store
I did this the other day in hopes of an additional tip! It was 5 minutes away. Of course they didn't tip.
It happened again. I called doordash and the order was canceled. I got free dinner. :)
Let doordash decide what to do about a wrong location. If they ask you if you want to go to the new location make sure your compensated.
@@laurietucker1070 Thanks, I got a double order yesterday and the customer called me to say that their address was actually downtown while I was in the very southern tip of my City going south where I was delivering the other order. I just did the order since the customer tipped 21$
Wow I wish uber eats had that restaurant radius that would eliminate a lot of these issues
Wait wut? Delivery range? That's a joke, right? They continuously send me offers for 10+ miles (usually for pay equal to half the distance :/). This is Houston, it can take 30 minutes sometimes to just go 10 miles. I had one on Super Bowl Sunday for 16 miles for $3.81. Every restaurant I've ever ordered from (I've been around a minute, so this is pre-app delivery era) rarely goes over 6-7 miles, if that. I don't believe them when they say they have a "delivery range". At least as far as this market is concerned.
Now, I have had one order change the address, but it was the same complex, just a different unit. They had gone down to their friend's place, so it was no problem.
I had a couple people try and change the address left it right at the first address was told to deliver and the address they were try to change it to was another 30 minutes away, then another lady got me called her once I got to the address that was told to drop off called her asking is this a restaurant she said actually that's not the address explain I not taking to her new address she beg and said I have small babies and it's raining I took it and she didn't even tip not no more doing favor will leave it for now
10 miles? Holy hell I try not to drive more than 5 miles cuz it will take me too far away from the zone.
How do I find out where to sign up for routed deliveries
So what should you do when you have the said orders with the wrong address? I mean you have the food already and the customer is contacting you for the switch location. Also, how do you get in touch with support??!
How do I know what area a zones pick up are is
Had that happen to me several times
The Doordash peak pay rates are usually in the middle of the night. It diesnt mean that the zone will be busy at that time with orders. But the higher the peak pay in a zone, that is wherr all of the drivers will flock to, making that area not busy, or not enough orders to having too many drivers. So you have to go eherr the demand is. In Pinellas County, Florida, there is way to many gig drivers and it is very competitive and if you are not a top dasher, you will only be receiving the low ball requests without tips.
This area does not offer per hourly rates yet, so you really have to be at the best place at the right time, and time is money.
If the restaurant takes longer than 12 minutes, i cancel.
can i NOT get the store shopping pickups? hate that crap...
Do you get paid enough having with having to cover gas charges too ?
I got a question. I'm fairly new at this. 2 months and a couple times I got to restaurant and it took a good 20 mins. How do I get out of that?
Does doordash ever update anything? I have been sent to the same restaurant twice that has been closed for years. Also I was sent to a subway recently and it turned out that Doordash had bad address and it led out in the middle of nowhere. I called support and asked them WTF and they connected me to the business to get directions. It was in a walmart several miles away and has been there for years. Subway said they tried to get them to update it since the beginning. I went to the address and then found out I couldn't hit arrives or picked up because it was so far away so I had to call support again so I can get delivery address. I got an order extremely late violation for that... next time I will just cancel. But WTF! Getting a violation because of them not doing their job
Same here!!! Subway where there's no subway!!
I just had my first dash today, I declined first order notice, 9 mile drive for $5, the second was a $5.25 for 1.9 miles I accepted
My market switched to ONLY tip AFTER delivery 3 months ago. The customers cant tip until after you pick up the food, and you cant see it until after you deliver the food.
The "high pay" prioritization classification I got last month was clutch. It literally only sent me $7 + base orders, which automatically kept me from getting BS fast food no tip orders.
I went from a 17% acceptance rate the month before i got "high pay" to an over 80% acceptance rate and top dasher status, all while averaging around $30 an hour.
I made the $30 per hr with the low acceptance rate, but had to schedule my dashes and all during peak times.
Now i still average $30 an hour, but its whenever i want. I plan nothing. It almost always gives me stacked orders after the time the lobby closes and you waste time in drive thru lines, so im over $15 a restaurant stop.
A good rule of thumb , a dollar a mile minimum
I have not seen any peek pay in my area in months. Not sure why they stopped doing peek pay here.
I have a question what if I made top dasher for September with 126 deliveries for August then I got platinum status and then my dash now has been taken away I had met all the requirements I know this is not the topic but they put me silver then gold when I was platinum
I use to make way more money before you had to schedule your time, all I get is someone wanting their food for free or a double order for the price of 1 which they slid that free order with another order as it becomes a double order NOT!
1:43 I had a delivery where the address was correct but the pin told me I had arrived 3 miles before the address. Any thoughts?
how far away can a house be from a restaurant? i had a 25min one today and was like damn, but it was also a food truck?? so idk
Uber Eats has been way more profitable in my area. Door dash frequently gives me low dollar deliveries
Heads up if you accept two orders it's better to deliver one at a time and watch you get more pay... I just realized this last night.
Door sending dasher 17 miles away for 7:50 that almost 1 hour driving total
Are u saying that we can do doordash and ubereats at the same time
Anyone have any problems with lateness due to poorly calculated distances. I did the whole delivery with no delays and was still "late.?
Per hour rate is $14.50+tips here in southern Utah, and doordash adds our tips to hourly to make it up to $14.50?!?! Tonight, I drove 84 miles for a 2 hour shift @ $14.50 rate as top dasher. Made 6 deliveries I made $41.99 with dash pay @ $14.00per hour! What is everyone's opinion about this? Is this accurate? I imply per hour + tips as just that the hourly rate and 100% tips?!?
Just started and I didn’t know I had to make 100 deliveries in a month to be top dasher now I can’t continue because I also work full time and schedules don’t work
New to dash . Is there a reason why McDonald's orders were made at locations that were further away when i knew there was McDonald's closer to the delivery address.
I wonder that too. I have delivered pizza or Chinese food to someone who lives literally in a fabulous restaurant hub thinking, "why did you order this completely pedestrian food from 6 miles away when you're surrounded by delicious food right next to you?".
As a new dasher I cancelled an order instead of contacting support. It was a pizza pick from Pizza Hut. When I arrived they said they had no orders for door dash. I showed them the phone with the order and they refused to make it. Had to select unable to complete the order and that affected my completion rate
On lg
