Platinum is where it's at, it took me 4 days to get to 69% to 70% but on my first platinum shift today all offers except 1 were 2x $ per mile or more so I was accepting just about every order and got up to 75% in one shift. So far Platinum is awesome!

@YourDriverMike ya I was super worried after it finally got to 70% bc I just got a catering bag too but it seems easier to keep it up than I thought bc u are getting much better offers so not having to decline as much. But man I have had to fight their support and they are so rude and make no sense. They said my acceptance rate wasn't going up bc of many unassigned orders when the only unassigned orders in last 100 were just a few and bc store was closed or wait was super long and every time DD said it wouldn't affect my rate. It also never says in email and app that an unassigned an order will affect acceptance rate but apparently it does.

This video right here convinces me even more that I have (and always have) made the right choice in not playing Door Dash's schemes and games. I usually am in the teens for AR (currently 14%) and I take the orders I want. My first order today was shopping: 15 easy-to-find items, a drive of about 2 miles from the store, $26.50. I ended my 1 1/2 hour lunch shift (active time, a little more for the other, which I never even consider) with a total of $51.00, 4 deliveries. On Tuesday, I got a $44 pizza delivery, driving less than 1 mile. These are just examples of great orders + the good, decent orders I usually am offered. I only do around 15 -20 hours a week, which supplements my other income (social security) nicely. Not every day is stellar, but I earned over $1900 in March with a total of 72 hours. Platinum level - pfffttt! - who needs it?

I couldnt agree more, the most I ever made on DD was with an AR of 38%. I think overall they brought in hundreds of new dashers as its only a matter of time before they learn the algorithm as we all once did. Just imagine the bank the corporation is making off of them earn by time kids and those chasing incentive's or a tier program!!! Cha Ching into the stock market!!! I think its a strategic move by there logistics teams to make a way for everyone to take crap! But most dashers I meet locally are earn by time and will drive around for 16 dollars an hour!! I dont see crap orders coming to an end due to these tactics! Sounds like you are doing well in a good market that doesnt have enough dumb drivers to starve you out! My AR has dropped to 7%, if it wasnt for other apps I would have went back to a w2 months ago!!!! And to use DD just for an hour a night vs 12hrs a day!

I agree though it's bogus they count 2 against you if you decline, also taking a $1.00 away for doing stacked...we are doing what we are suppose to on top of getting the customers their orders quicker, and door dash penalizes us for providing great customer service for their company. That irritates me Everytime I get stacked orders, and add to that 9 times out of 10, one of those orders doesn't have a tip.

Rumors have it, that DD no longer has ''real'' catering orders anymore, some beleive that they pimped out all there catering orders to deliverd or ez cater. I also heard the catering orders are still there but not labled as catering nor do they require catering bags. Now being over 5 months in and over 2,200 deliveries its been slim pickings ever since valentines day!!!! more and more apps, multi app you cannot trust an algorithm that was programmed to boost stocks!!!

I assume they got put on drivers doing high amounts of deliveries, for the past 2 or 3 weeks I havent seen much on catering on DD. Maybe its because they let in a ton of new dashers or maybe its because I been multi apping more and doing less on DD, rumor has it that the DD catering is getting pimped out to other apps like ez cater etc... Also Mike, if you are in the top tier program and can do 100-200 deliveries a month, you might want to ask DD to be invited into the LOP (large order program) because others have, it may take a week for them to decide to let you in or not..... If I decline an offer in that hour and then accept the next order and then get a stack I can decline that stacked order and not have it end my dash or pause it at all, my AR does go down normally though. If I hadn’t used my decline that hour and I’m on and order and get a stacked and decline it it still doesn’t count towards my decline per hour because I can’t then decline another offer after that. I think that means, theres to many high AR people in your turf!!!!! Do the math on how many other top tier people there are and how many restaurants and low income vs high income etc.... possibly to change zones or something. Sometimes zones are flooded with part timers during that dinner rush. If you only dash 1hr or 2hrs a night, you may be up against hundreds of other top dashers! Also, to see really good orders you need to make atleast 200 deliveries a month. I use to see catering orders daily because i made over 400 deliveries a month doing it full time, some days making 45 an hour and almost 100 an hour. There financial logistics have made changes to the software and programs!!! Now my AR is at 7%.

Acceptance rate is just a way for door dash to control you. It don’t mean much. If you have high acceptance , you’ll get frequent orders and no dead time in between drops, yeah you might get higher paying orders over others with lower rates. But when it’s busy it’s busy. But other than that I get the same high paying low mile orders as I want . Multi app is the way and stacking. Average 37$ hour on dd. And that’s only working busy hours 4am-7ish 10-1 6-10 Time is money. I’ve had my best weeks doing orders that are mostly 6-8$ for 2-5miles.

How much rather just walk in get the product or food and leave. And as far as taking your time that would not be very wise because it's timed and you don't want to be late anyways. It's better to do the deliveries with the intention of steadily moving close to the speed limits and the main reason that I like it it's because a lot of times I end up having to wait for food to be made and that's not my fault so they can't punish me if it's not my fault and trust me they're watching on your GPS to see if you're inside waiting or if you went sit out in the vehicle. GPS is extremely accurate now so if it looks like you're doing Shady stuff like sitting in your car after you pick up an order in order to burn time then yeah they're going to deactivate you.
