I played Resident Evil 2 (the original), for the very first time, in 2021. Emulated on Dolphin using HD textures, so it was like the most prestine PS1 game ever made, lol. Had a great time surprisingly.
Enjoyed the video, very informative! As a kid I definitely missed out on Resident Evil, so this is a nice video to go to when I do decide to get into the series. Also, looking forward to that let's play :)

This video was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. I’ve been a fan of the series since the PS2 days, and I thought I knew of every noteworthy way of playing the classics, but I never knew about Rebirth. I can’t wait to replay one of the best games in the franchise! I feel like I say this every week now, but it bears repeating: I love that you get more confident and loose with every new upload! Keeping up with your videos and your growth as a youtuber is just a damn fun ride!
I’m really excited to get through some of these (except the 7 and 8 because of the first person, think that might be a bit to full on for me still lol) Thanks so much mate, really went out on a limb with this one and know it’s not the sort of thing for my audience, so it’s honestly a weight off hearing you’re still enjoying it mate. My wife would tell you, every week I post a video and think it could have been better, then like clockwork I’ll be like ‘oh LeifUnni commented and said they liked it so it’s all good’ so very appreciated!
@@HowGoodGames That’s awesome to hear! I really do recommend playing 7 and 8 when you get to them. They’re great games, and Village is definitely one id the least scary games in the series. Either way I’m looking forward to seeing your take on a Let’s Play!
An awesome and long game series that I haven’t played much of. Honestly would love something like this for the dragon ball Budokai Tenkaichi series, though the first game is a lot more difficult to get ahold of. My ps2 copy barely works unless I skip the intro advertisement that’s on every ps2 game
That’s a good shout, dragon ball z Budokai 3 (from before the tenkaichi series) is one of my favourite games of all time still, but there are some other really interesting games like the goku games on gbc or gba or whichever it was. Great shout, could make for a really interesting video at some point!

I don't know about the Switch, I have RE0 and 1 on the Switch and the load times are quite bad. For the most part, one can play most of the RE Games on the PS3 including the OG versions. I have a PS5, and can play all of the RE games on that system but unfortunately can't play the OG versions on it (only the Remake versions in which RE3R wasn't great).

I’ve not heard of dolphin, only familiar with PCSX2 but that sounds dope. Was it your first for the series or had you already played other Resi’s?
