I would say that Resident Evil Remake did the greatest improvement to the series. It showed how creepy it could be.

If you never played Code Veronica on Dreamcast, you truly missed out. The memory card on the controller had a screen that showed you health heartbeat. it was the best

Most of these were second hand used games, you can see RE4 with a platinum disc, and most ps2 ones were the cover is really used, and Zero didn't even had manual.

Канал же с асмр направленностью.
RE 4 (2005) really changed the playstyle of the angle to fps, and still remain one of the best classics ever.
They should have showed the GameCube RE4, because that was the original RE4.
Resident Evil 4 is not an FPS, Resident Evil 7 and 8 are though

Re 4 is awful. Ruined the series by Turing the series from survival horror to an arcade game. Re 4 was House of the dead 2.0.

There's something quite magical about older games and their detailed manuals. It gives off this feeling of meaningfulness, almost as if you were buying an artwork that should be comprehended in its enterity. I don't know if that makes sense, but games nowadays seem... very disposable.

Man I was so depressed a kid thinking RE was a franchise lost. I grew up on RE 3 and loved the franchise so much. 2018 (ps4 origins luanch which he missed) was such a good year.

Re 4 was dogshit. Turned the series into an action shooter with zombies a La house of the dead. Like 5 and 6. At least 7 was somewhat scary.

The old games were really well done, the amount of attention to detail. You could check anything in a room and you would get a description on what it is you examining. The new games such as RE 2 and 3 remake follow the story but leave out sooo much detail and had the resources to add more
The Resident Evil Revelations for 3DS came out 2012, it was for 3DS In the start then it came out afterwards for other systems :D
It also had a typo on the spine, I believe, on the US version.

Das dachte ich auch zumindest , bis ich die Verpackung von Dead Aim gesehen hab die war an der Oberkante bisschen mitgenommen. Und richtig sonnenklar wurde es bei RE:Zero , weil da die Anleitung fehlt.

Like Resident Evil Survivor 2, I've seen some copies of the game in blue cases and some in black cases and i didn't really know for sure witch one is real, but in this video it's black so I'm assuming black is the real one, if I'm wrong any help would be greatly appreciated
@@erikcenters9142All PAL PS2 games that came out until early 2002 were in black cases. Black Cases can also be seen in some later launch copies like Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and God Of War II. As a collector myself I spent a lot of time observing these little details. Another fact is that early PS2 cases (until 2003) came with a different sticker that had the "P" logo in the hologram. Newer versions include a "PS2" logo. Finally the games shown in the video are not factory sealed since the stripes are not present on the shrink-wrapp.

Did you not notice the lack of the official Nintendo seal of the wrapping? My unopened copy has it and I wonder why this copy doesn't, my guy feeling is this and all the other games have been re-wrapped AFTER being opened the first time. There are a lot of signs that point to this whole video and channel is faking it

I remember having a copy of RE2 when I was 9 years old. Good times. My case looked a bit different and the 2nd disc didn't come wrapped in plastic.

11:02 Resident Evil: Revelations was first released on Nintendo 3DS in (2012) and then released on PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox360 in (2013) as a Remastered
Also, RE4 was originally released on the GameCube, then released on the PS2 at a later date with the addition of Seperate Ways.

I don't think they are original... sealed game can be really expensive. They probably are some kind of replica you can buy on Etsy
Some of them are missing the playstation logo and nintendo logo on seal, which sadly indicate an amateur seal.

I'd say FORTUNATELY because (as a collector) opening a game that has remained in its plastic for almost 30 years, that can now be perfectly emulated on phones and small cheap handhelds, just for some "asmr" would kind of hurt my brain. Despite not being a sealed collector happier to see resealed games opened tbh.

However, there is a detail regarding Resident Evil Revelations since it was originally released for 3ds in 2012 and then released for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U in 2013

Yeah that REmake cover art is really something😂
The PAL RE2 had brilliant box art and CDs (NTSC-U games did get done dirty, US Suikoden 1 art for instance looks bad) but then on the Sega Mega drive, Japan for the best art and the West got some whacky art. (I'm looking at you Strider)

As a game collector I can immediately tell that the majority of games in this video are not brand new or factory sealed at all. In fact you can clearly notice dust, smudges and even scratches and dirt on the disc, manuals or cases after the have been "unboxed" so these are just used games that have been re sealed by some cheap machine and not original factory sealed games heck most of them would have special logo seals for the games but like none of these had those. EDIT and a lot of these games have special inserts, registration cards, promo cards included with the manuals but this video is missing all that.

When I was playing re2 remake i was so scared all the time, feeling got trapped in a place and no where to escape, but still hoping to find someone alive. Re4 remake is another great game I will be playing for a long time, but it just lacks that nostalgic thriller feeling. To me the re2 city horror theme is the best.

The outbreak games were the most ahead of their time things ever
excellent compilation, except for two games that I feel should have been placed differently, Resident evil 4 started on GameCube should have been the example, and the original Resident evil revelations is the one for 3DS, later it was adapted to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 (2012 3ds - 2013 Windows, PS3,Xbox 360) you put it upside down
