The graphics, atmosphere and setting of NFS 2015 are the closest you can get to being an illegal street racer, this style fits perfectly with the franchise, I don't know why they took it away
Personally I think the physics were totally crap the story line as well. Honestly I didn't get any real vibes from previous nfs games. Compared to rocksatrs MCLA, I'd say nfs 2015 doesn't stand a chance.

What I try to do in the new ones but with very few slow cars it's hard. My favorite is in heat where I did the hatchback version of a wrx with the forged 4 cylinder engine. Called it green monster and painted it green. It was a monster
Need for Speed (2015), Need for Speed: Payback (2017) and Need for Speed: Unbound (2022) is my favourite. I love the story of them. Especially the 2015 version, it use actual clips to tell the story. It makes playing the game like watching a movie.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 was the best-looking game by far for a long time and to this day is still one of my personal favorites. The 10 lap macaron f1 Lm race... awesome game. I still play it to this day when I want some quick fun
Need for speed on the 3D0 was amazing - it might look dated now but at the time it was jaw dropping. Me and my brother spent hours time trialling, trying to knock fractions off our times. Loved it.
Need for speed hot pursuit is when I got hooked. Then underground and underground 2 were insanely awesome ! Beat the first one in two days. Never left my console but to sleep a bit then back to it. Brings back Soo many great memories ☺️
Nothing could even could come close to the popularity that MFS had in the year 2004 and 2005 UNDERGROUND 2 and MOST WANTED literally ruled the gaming space the world over.

For all the Underground and Most Wanted fans, I recommend Heat and Unbound. They both do something unique while maintaining the essence of those older games.

Heat and Unbound aren't that bad. I prefer the older ones but the new Need for Speed games are still pretty good in their own way. The new music definitely fucking sucks though
Need for Speed Road and Track SE, Need for Speed II and Most Wanted (the old school most wanted, not the rebooted crap one) were my ABSOLUTE favourites but if I had to pick one it would be the old school Most Wanted. Miss that game so much and wish they would remaster it on next-gen.

Need for speed heat was one of the most funniest games I’ve ever played on PlayStation four because every single car in the game you can engine swap with different engines to make it go faster and it changes the sound of the car too which is makes them more realistic, which is insanebut now I moved on to need for speed unbound and I like it better than heat. It’s got the same features as heat but better and it added more cars.
Missing the NFS Porsche Unleashed on PC (the PS1 version is much worse 😢) The PC version is basically NFS answer to Gran Turismo, it’s really awesome! (Totally not biased for being my first game XD)
@@f11bot I've played both and my money is on the ps1 version. Pc version has a terrible career mode, and races are very boring when cops aren't involved because of the flat driving model. Pc does have better cops tho.

Ps1 high stakes including a career mode and less arcady physics for me was nfs's answer to gran turismo
