I've never heard of them before, but now have a good idea of what we will need so she can make something nice to place down for her Mam. Your loved one appreciates all the thought& effort. I use floral wire as I can easily move a piece into a place a hole may appear. I make 1 for my dad every year. My mom just passed 11/22/21 so this year will be so emotional, but I just want will push on just like she did for 96 years. 🙏🌹
I watched, and decided to drag a large old fake tree out of a pile and repurpose it. I snipped off the lights and detached some pretty fluffy branches. I am amazed that they look so good. I have not wired them together yet. It may be a round mound like a bush, or gathered like a fan. I did get a lot of ideas from you and I appreciate your video. This is for my dear son and it will be our second Christmas missing him. ♥️♥️

I have made memorial canvases with my Cricut and Dollar Tree canvases for my mom, aunt, my sister in law, and me with cardinals on them. My sister in law will get hers for Christmas. I am also making a hummingbird ornament with vinyl for my tree this year. She loved birds and her favorite was the hummingbird. Prayers for you and your family during this holiday season. Even though this is the second Christmas without her, I have had some emotional moments watching movies and hearing carols that remind me of her.

I am definitely sure that your grandfather will be just as happy with what his granddaughter created just for him. Of course it's going to be a very emotional gift you have made especially for him shows him just how much you love him as well as miss him. Beautiful! I have heard of grave blankets but had never seen one. I don't know if they are used here in Southern California...our cemeteries mow and remove anything on the grave. The older ones may be different with actual headstones instead of plaques. When we buried by dad they gave a map of the area and with mowing dates, with suggestions as to adding decorations after mowing to keep them there longer. In the midwest and east it may be different. That is so beautiful I never thought of making a grave blanket. When my brother was murdered we would put a real like three foot Christmas tree on it every year and the only thing was we had to make sure nothing on there was shiny because the animals would going eat on them if they thought it was food but it's beautiful that is gorgeous I would never have thought of that.
