Perfectly described! It lasts around 12 hours for me but it is something only I can smell. Exactly why I love wearing it to work or during the day. To me, it's a perfect spring and summer scent for those casual days. I will wear Delina on my wedding next month and hadn't had the thought to pair it with the lotion!
Great review! What could you layer with it to make it last longer - a musk, Fleur Narcotique, a body spray? If so, which one?
Thanks so much for the very honest and no hype review - as I own several from that house and the sister house Initio and I def don’t want to add anything to my collection that isn’t as stunning, head turning and long lasting as the others!
Same. I own several as well and the only one I kind of regret is Meliora. It’s such a pretty scent but not worth the price tag in my opinion. The longevity and projection just isn’t there. I have to over spray like crazy and I’m already halfway through the bottle 😩
this is an idea for you since youve said you love fruity florals, socmaybe you could make one about those
I got it this week and for me it reminds me of a more refined luxurious D& G light blue intense. It does not project or last long. It’s not worth the high price tag imo.. but it’s one worth having especially if you’re into fresh laundry or clean girl aesthetic perfumes…

I totally agree! I didn’t make that connection to LB intense but I totally see what you mean:) The longevity may be there but the projection is something else
i’m so glad someone else made that connection! i thought i was crazy bc they’re so similar to me but didn’t see anyone else mentioning that. it immediately took me back to being 18 when i word light blue every day lol
Finally someone agrees with me. It does smell like refined D&G Light Blue with much better performance, it lasted over 10 hours on me. The SA at Saks gave me funny looks when I said it similar to LB. Don’t take me wrong I actually love clean laundry citrusy DG LB type of scent.
I don’t even know why I’m watching this knowing that I can’t afford this😭also have u tried “A Scent” from Issey Miyake if so is it worth buying

I had no problems with longevity with this scent. I got a sample from Nordstrom and tried it out it for 2 days. Longevity on my skin was at least 8 hours. I could still smell it even after showering. I guess everyone’s skin is different.
You’re not the only one saying this- perhaps it’s me who is the problem haha idk why it lasted so long on me
Your definitely right about that, it smells really good on Clem fresh skin that’s heated with body movement. Paired with a good lotion/oil.
I’m surprised you compared it to Oriana, Oriana is my favorite! Thanks for the honest review, really surprised the projection isn’t good considering it’s Parfum de Marly

I loved this on the card, but on my skin it instantly pulled something like a bug spray scent 😢 it was a scrubber for me! Sooo sad because delina and Safanad are two of my all-time favorite fragrances.
Hahaha that’s too bad- it’s definitely not my fav PDM. Love Safanad and Delina tho!
Tested yesterday at PDM in Covent Garden in London and could smell after my bath on my skin. Put on my jacket this morning and still there from yesterday. Bought a full bottle today - so expensive! Now I'm a bit concerned after your experience on projection and longevity. Maybe it needs time to mascerate in the bottle?
I have the same impression. I bougth my valaya 2days ago and for 2days ive been using it and i couldnt smell it with me i finish almost half of the bottle already. I am very dissapointed😢
I recently bought a full bottle of this and I can barely smell it after it dries down. I don’t know if there are differences in the batches? The sample I got from the PDM website originally seemed stronger 😢
I smell definitely a cozy soft floral with Woody notes. I'm not getting much fruit maybe a tiny bit of white peach.

Hey, I have a sample of this fragrance. I bought the sample very recently. Listening to your review gives me the impression that our batches of Valaya are different! This perfume is extremely strong on my skin/clothing and one spray packs plenty of punch. I do enjoy the tart green mandarin opening. Subtle-sweet in the dry down and quite a warm fragrance to my nose. I don't detect orange blossom, though white peach is blended and present. Valaya reminds me of a fragrance I'm still trying to resolve. I agree, Valaya really doesn't resemble 724.
This fragrance really lasts well on my clothes, but my skin seems to eat it up! I’m glad it lasts on you, perhaps we do have a different batch!
Great review! If you had to choose between this one and Oriana which you would go for?
It’s hard to make a comparison because they’re so different! Valaya is fresh and Oriana is warm and sweet. They work for different occasions. I’ve had Oriana longer so maybe Oriana? But I would prefer Valaya for spring/summer :)

Hi,What do you think of the bath gel? Does it smell like Delina? Which do you prefer, the gel or the body cream?
The body cream 10000%!! the shower gel is great but a body cream will always have a longer lasting scent :-)
