Naval Aviation line in WT are really dead rn especially for USSR.
UK got 120 Sea Harrier this patch and France still need some time to catch up until Rafale M.
Instead of 23ML, they suppose to add 23K as premium at first place and Su-33, 29K early +late at Yak-141 line in the future.
The K was a blueprint vehicle, but i can legitimately see it being added, definitely for a country with such little naval capabilities

The KfirC10 would be an awesome addition for Israel, probably being its rank 8 premium, following the style of upgrades 3rd gens (Bison, Tigershark)

@@elo4998 so, they basically took a Kfir C7 airframe, messed with the nose a little bit, and put the Elta EL/M-2032 radar in it, it has all the same loadouts as the C7, while gaining access to the Derby, Python 4 (on top of the Python 3), and later on, Python 5. It also gained HMD. These are the modes for the radar: Range While Search (RWS)
Single Target Track (STT)
Track While Scan (TWS)
Situation Awareness Mode (SAM)
Dual Target Track (DTT)
Raid Assessment (RA)
Air Combat Modes (ACM):
Vertical Scan
Slewable ACM
HUD ACM
Boresight
Adaptive Boresight
I believe it also gets an air to ground radar mode. As a premium, I think the C10 is perfect, and gaijin could add the Kfir Block 60 in the TT, which gained the Elta EL/M 2052 radar, which is AESA, and gained access to the I Derby ER

Tigershark isnt a third gen, its a full fledged 4th gen. They based it on the F-5 which was one of the best third gens pound per pound and they gave it a new fuselage with a lifting body, a new powerful engine, a powerful radar and future compability with the amraam.

Id love to see this. 3rd gen fighters with more advanced equipment. Would be a cool range of aircraft to fight one another against early 4th gen possibly. If Gaijin could decompress the BRs a bit somehow, I think I would be a cool BR of vehicles like these in their own pool with some early 4th gens. Hope to see this and many others like it to come.
Isnt there also the MiG-21 LanceR, or is it just the same as the UPG?
UPG is the same as Bison, the LanceR is an upgrade that was done to Romanian MiGs (almost certainly going to the Italian TT if added)
the UPG ( Bizon ) is better than the lancer cus IRL it carried the R77, the Lancer isnt the same as the Bison, instead of an upgrade on the Bis, the Lancer was an upgrade of the Mig 21 MF, it had a new pulse dopler radar (different from the Bizon one), new RWR, HMD, but the armment differs since the Lancer was optimized for Air to ground, thus it gets an Litening pod, on air to air it gets the R73s (on the outer pilons i believe) and for the inner pylons it can use the Python 3, or the Magic 2, the cannon is the same, but since it was an MF upgrade (it doesnt had countermeasures) two new displencers of chaff and flares was installed on the rear section of the fuselage (almost on the same place as the Lazur mig21 bis ones) would be deadly, but the Flight performance would be really worse than the Bizon, since the Mig 21 MF gets weaker engine, it would be a 11.3 aircraft for sure.

The Bison isn't actually the aircraft the Indian utilize. The MiG-21-93 Bison was a project to modernize the MiG-21 for foreign exports. The MiG-21-93 Bison was a prototype. The MiG-21UPG is the final product the Indians use and is a completely different aircraft from the Russian Bison. It has a French Avionics Suite with 2 flat panel screens, a mission computer, INS system, and TopSight HMS which strays from the Russian Shchel-3UM. It also has an Isreali countermeasure suite, RWR, and Radio/comms system. The only thing that should really be the same is their radar and weaponry. Being able to use the R-27 only on the inter pylon, and being able to utilize the R-77/R-73 interchangeably on both.
In other words what I'm saying is: War thunder has the Bison wrong in game, not only with its weaponry but it's name. It should be called the UPG, considering that's the aircraft the Indians use. NOT the Bison.

@@airlightshockZOV Three fully functional f20s were built, and were actually fitted and tested with all the weapons in game, and more than it has in-game as a matter of fact.

Its a Russian* aircraft, a lot of work went into it from the Indian side too IIRC and personally I dont mind it being in the UK tree, I just wish we got more unique Indian vehicles first or Anglo-Indian vehicles. EG the Sea Harrier FRS.51 with Derby missiles, or the EX tank, Arjun, Ajeet, Vijayanta series, Tejas..... Marut..... Yeah.
India has a ton of unique vehicles to add, its just a shame gaijin seem to be going "lazy mode" for them so far.
If they're going to add the mig-23-98, I want the Mirage F1EM VI.... Which unlike the 23-98, was an actual aircraft that saw actual service

@@elo4998 Hard to find much information, but what I know of it is that it had a completely modernized glass cockpit, new modern RWR, a RDY-3 radar developed off the Mirage-2000-5F's radar, is capable of carrying MICA missiles, and had a new compressor in the engine which increased thrust by 4%. It has an entirely new, modern HUD to compliment the modern radar set and avionics, as well as new HOTAS, and was compatible with helmet mounted sights.

Another mig23 as a premium? Would be kind of boring and also wouldn't be a good marketing move, i think they could add either a mig 25 with the internal gun, but i think it wouldn't fit the meta really well, even in an air superiority configuration, or they could ad a mig 29s or a mig29k (even tho i think the K should be under the yal 141)

We don't need mig 23-98, mig 23 mld should get r27 and r73 an go to 11.7. Soviets dont have any 11.7 and it's annoying in sim , this br is almost dead
