Option 6, be a harrier in vtol. You “notch” the missile so you should be fine especially at low altitudes.

These crying people rn have just a meta skill issue and don’t want to learn something new. Also with the smaller match size. Everybody was crying about A Furball in ARB bc of too many player. Now we can choose but 90% of crying players don’t do it on purpose bc they are mad about their big skill issue and don’t know anything about todays Air Battles.

Option 6: carry 1 9L (or any other IR missile but 9M) so you can use it as APS shell to intercept FOX-3 in a head-on xD Yes, you get less of your own Fox-3s, but you can have a chance to survive one potentially deadly surprise from up close

Right now is very good due to the decrease of players in 12.7/12.3 so you will get a lot of downtiers + the multipath makes your phoenixes very good because at 60 m the big ass explosive mass will still hit probably doing critical damage so you need to notch it or outmaneuver it leaving the players without cm or with a low energy state near teammates

“Literally 100% invulnerable if you fly below 60m” biggest lie I’ve ever heard you say Mat. I’ve died probably 30+ times since the new update when flying literally lower than 10m off the ground. Majority of the time it doesn’t work and isn’t a reliable strategy.

You should understand that multipath not only affected by how low you are but also how is the angle of radar/active missile that lock on to you. If you just fly straight below the multipath, you'd still get splashed by enemy missile due to how Look-Down Attack works. You should do a zigzag little bit so when the missile want to hit you, its radar confused because it can't predict your path properly.
You should also consider that Fox 3 missile has IOG+DL, it translate to have better target acquisition. That's why a little bit maneuver is also important while flying low.
