If you want to acquire all the vocabulary from this video I have a technique for you: 1 - Create flashcards about every word or phrase you don't know in this video 2 - Watch this video once a day and review your flashcards before watching the video 3 - After a week or two you'll be able to understand almost every word 4 - You'll be able to understand these words in other conversations and situations This simples technique worked for me with 3 different languages.
I am a polyglot and a native english and french speaker. Many mistakes in this video. But they are minor. Soixante ans (soixant ans) the e is not prononced
This is by far the best video for new learners online I have been able to find so far, I truly enjoyed learning from it and seeing the practical application of essential French words .. I think the pace is great and the sound quality fair... it is formal language rather than informal.
I agree with you....It's great and all, but I have to say this: whoevers doing the English translation is not doing a great job, I mean: the wide meaning is there, but if you wanna learn a new language the translation must be almost word by word...per example: 'mattez la pâte dans le four' is translated: 'put it in the oven'....put what in the oven'? If pâte is mass, the translation should be: put the mass in the oven...and this is done all through the video....except for that great job....
This is one of the best content for language learning I've ever stumbled upon on RUclips. I've been looking for this sort of stuff for a long time. Thank you!
Je vous très reconnaissant pour lancer cette chaîne. Ça aide beaucoup a progresser en Français. Lexique est très utile, les dialogues sont courtes donc c'est possible de les apprendre par cœur.
Tips for better use: 1. Listen entirely and try to understand the most of it. 2. Type down what you understood. Feel free to pause or rewind. 3. Listen again the whole thing while reading what you have written. Make corrections if you judge necessary. 4. Listen to second part (with subtitles) and correct what you missed. 5. Re-listen the whole thing shadowing the dialogue. This way you can train your skills on listening, writing and speaking.
Not bad at all, thanks ! Works very well for me in combination with the "50 daily life French conversations" album (available on a famous streaming platform).
Just a little concern-if I’m having a conversation with my husband or even a male friend about which color shirt I think he should wear, I would not use the “vous”, nor would I use the “nous” as the subject when talking about *us*. I would use the familiar “tu” and “on”. 🙄
Yes you can, oral production is an ability that can be developed over time, try everyday to describe something or to say something like for example “Les fleurs sont vraiment belles aujourd’hui” and day by day your French will improve. Baby steps will take you to great places 🤗
I’m not a native English speaker and my English isn’t perfect but day by day I practiced until I became fluent on my own, now I’m doing the same with French, keep going! 😄

Brilliant approach to training the ear. I taught English for 40 years and this is the kind of thing I tried to do in the classroom. Félicitations.

I learnt French French in highschool which was great but then came to Canada and Quebec French is like a whole different thing 😅
How different is Quebec French from French in France though and also just to clarify Where is Quebec? It's in Canada? Or somewhere else
@@ariella2658 As a native québécois, I'm here to answer your questions
1. Pretty different, and a lot of slangs used here.
2. Yes, it's in Canada

If you want to be polite you should use "vous", is same thing in Spanish when we say "usted".
true, but I think the dialogue creators aimed to train the learners to be familiar with the formal talk first.
I took it to be he was shopping and she was the store employee - but truthfully, it was the formality of "vous" that made me think that.
