    I read a lesson which says 30% of French words are English , there is a difference in accent , add to this whoever speaks English fluently can learn it faster than the other languages speakers.

      i speak portuguese and both languages has so many similar words, although what makes everything different it's the pronunciation, cuz even the meaning is the most times the same thing. In case of the english with french, i can realize that has a lot of words that is writted in the same way but means totally different in english.

      It's due to the latin words which were introduced in the English vocabulary across the centuries. But Portuguese is closer to French, and has more similarities.

    I thought french was hard but no I realise I was wrong this really helped me to learn French and it's a very easy language cuz the pronunciation of some words are similar to English

      not only some words have similar pronounciation, but some words have the exact same meaning AND pronunciation due to certain words in the English language being added under the influence of french. so LOL

    Can someone help me with the pronunciation of the ending consonant followed by the next word that begins with a vowel..? how come the 's' in 'êtes-vous' before étudiante' seems completely silent, while the 's' in 'je ne suis paS' is pronounced as 'je-ne-sui-pa-Sé-tu-dian-te' ?

    Lya what they have done to you? They turned you into a robot. Your charisma in previous videos (ex. 25 french nouns) made me looked other FrenchPod101 videos. Polishing the way you host the videos and french content would put you as platform in a different level, there's time to straighten the path.
