Blue Iguana breakfast burrito for the win!
I really missed out, you’re the third person to mention this!! Ugh 😩 lol BUT we are going on the Jubilee next winter so I’ll be sure to have some then 😎🍻☀️
The best breakfast on a port day is in the main dining room. Not many people participate, so service is really quick. Some interesting offerings, cooked to order and quick. Sea day brunch in the same place is generally pretty good, but busy and slow. You can also call for room service in the morning and get continental breakfast. I am STILL salty they took away the door hangers for breakfast room service. You used to be able to just check what you wanted on those and hang them outside your cabin before you went to bed. Great job on the big jump! When I went through Navy bootcamp, we had to do a tall jump into the pool. I was scared, so was everyone, but something I've taken through my life (and I'm old now)...sometimes you just gotta plug your nose and jump ;)
I agree MDR breakfast is usually a great option!!
I am also salty about the door hangers for room service lol, I always loved ordering fresh coffee and tea to the room (back when it was included)
Honestly re watching this video brings back the feeling of dread and fear! But yes much like you I just had to plug my nose and jump!!
I think the fact that I was holding the go pro made things worse haha. I was nervous to lose it!

We only sail Carnival, as Gold card after being on 9 cruises. We love the private ports Carnival has, Amber Cove, Roatan, Grand Turk.
Carnival really is the Fun Ship.

@@ryanandkala my first cruise is in July on horizon going to Aruba, Bonaire, La Romana and Amber cove. I watch sooo many videos lol I can’t do this excursion due to my bad knees so I’ll be kicking it by the pool :) but if you ever go to Bonaire.. you gotta rent the golf carts from what I hear it’s amazing and you pull right up to the beach and snorkel $100 all day! Look up Bonaire cruisers :)

That cruise port is awesome. You made a good choice re: drinks....we got off ship and walked to the pink street and umbrella streets, took a few pics, tried some good food, but spent most of our time in the hammocks and lazy river (which were free). However, you're right, the drinks there are CRAZY expensive. Only had one there while we enjoyed the port area. They really did a great job with that spot tho.

Was patiently waiting to see this video!! Y’all did great! We did this excursion last cruise and yes the jump was scary as hell but I did it too!! Ooh was also letting y’all know one of the best places to eat for breakfast or lunch is the blue iguana burrito bar. Definitely the best!

It was quite the experience! The port looked like an amazing place to hang out, they had lots of chairs and a nice swim up bar. We just had the drink package so we figured we’d save a free bucks and just relax on the ship! Thanks for watching!! 😎🍻☀️

What was the total cost from the entire cruise for the drinks after the drink package? Considering purchasing the package just wanna know if it's worth it for me or no.
Our drink package plus gratuities was $554.50 USD each then because of some ports such as Miami and San Juan we had to pay tax on every drink until we left port so maybe another $10 for those days. With 3 ports in 7 days we figured it would be worth it for us but it depends on how much you’re going to to drink! Thanks for watching 🍻☀️😎

Yes exactly! Carnival doesn’t allow you to jump so you have to book privately if that’s something you want to do. Yeah I would have been really disappointed, it was a lot of fun jumping off lol. ❤️🇨🇦😎🍻☀️

That waterfall excursion looked awesome. It seems like Ryan wore regular street sneakers? So, I can just wear regular tennis shoes/sneakers, and I don't have to worry about "water-shoes"? And, there was some sort of lockers to rent at the staging area to put your backpack in? And, you mentioned in another comment that you booked it thru Shore Excursioner.... do you know if I can just print out my booking confirmation to show them my ticket/receipt.... so I don't have to worry about having my phone with me? Just a quick question the pool in the back where it seems you two like hang out is it always that quiet? Seems so chill with some of the best views on the ship. Thank you!! It was always quiet at the patio pools, it can get busy and you may not get a chair but in terms of the noise it’s usually nice and peaceful. Seems like a way different vibe than the lido deck which I loved that there were different areas. We really did have the best time, so much that we booked the Jubilee and Firenze next year 🤣 Thanks for watching!!

Our rooms are booked on the Lido deck 4 rooms in on the right hand side. We can’t wait. We did get the drink package! 🍻🍹🥂🍷. The fruits and avocados at that market looked sooo good. Would they let you bring them back on the boat if you bought them??
Thank you so much!! Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think you can bring any fruits or vegetables on/off the ship, depending on which country your visiting but I think a general rule for the Caribbean is no. The bananas were very good, soo fresh 😋🍌
just a FYI if you have CHEERS drink package on Carnival you cannot get the buckets of beer, it's not allowed

Question - How/when do you make reservations to Chibang/Cucina Del Capitano on the Carnival Celebration?
Yay!! Welcome to the channel 😊 we’re glad you’re enjoying the videos so far. So for the reservations we just showed up on the day of at 5:30pm when they opened and requested a time or a table and that worked every time. There seemed to be a way when you’re connected to the ship’s Wifi you can “Check-in” for your selected restaurant then it gives you a notification when your table is ready. Thanks for watching!! 😎🍻☀️
Wow, I have never thought the breakfast buffet was gross. Especially surprising on the Flag Ship. I mean it's usually the typical "buffet quality" but i have usually enjoyed the Market Place. But food/service can be different day to day / cruise to cruise / ship to ship. To answer the question, I always enjoy the sea day brunch in the MDR. Obviously that does not help on port days. I think even on port days you can catch served to order breakfast in the MDR. But its not fast. Breakfast at the Blue Iguana is always tasty and usually fast. GREAT VIDEOS!!! Thanks for sharing.
We actually warmed up to the Lido marketplace as the cruise went on, I made a really good breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately we never tried the blue Iguana for breakfast but we will definitely do it in February on the Jubilee. I think that day the eggs were just extra runny and didn't look appealing. Overall I think Carnival kills it on food, we had such a great time. Thanks for sharing and for watching 😎🍻☀️

What month did you two go? In February we’re going. I read reviews of water really cold so I was gonna maybe bring a wet suit or wetsuit shorts. Awesome to know about the gluten free. I’ve been curious of my options on carnival celebration.
We went in February! I think for myself I didn't think it was cold but Kala's lips were blue if I'm remembering correctly! Kala felt really good about all the options, Cucina del Capitano was great, they had gluten free pizza at Miami slice and gluten free bread at the deli as well. Tons of options!
we just did the exact same excursion in February thru carnival and they would not allow anyone from carnival to jump off the platforms. Had to use the rock slides instead. Was really bummed

We did the Sea day brunch on our most recent video with the last 2 sea days!! We both enjoyed it and will definitely go back, I feel like I didn't make the right choices necessarily but Kala really enjoyed her brunch. ☀️🍻😎

Did you guys find it hard to find seats for the shows? How early do people start getting seats? Doesn't seem like there was alot of sitting available.
We did find It hard for the shows in the Central area, we felt like people were there as early as 1 hour before the show started. Get there early if getting a good seat is important to you! 😎☀️🍻
