Well Fjorester was always going to happen. I mean it's makes sense that a wife wants to romance her husband's character and Travis' comments on Talks Machina about his feelings about ships in D&D made that stronger.
jester lived a pretty isolated life her exposer to interaction between the sexes is what she seen of her mother acting with her clients and the smut books she has read. best sum up in a later episode "that not at all how love is described in the books we read...well are they porn thou or are they just the way relationships are for real thou. and out of character "Jester learned about love from porno, no."
Laura really caught fire in a bottle with Jester. I mean, Vex is also a great character, but Jester is something else. EDIT: The correct saying is lighting in a bottle, isn't it? haha
Well at that point Caleb really didn't trust anyone but Nott still and Nott had just been ganged up on and forcibly charmed by Molly and Fjord so she kind of had a reason to question them. Didn't last long though.

I love the way they improv jester annoying her big sister right on the spot. Like there was no planning, Laura just waited for Sam and Liam's scene to end and went right into it, and Marisha just rolled with it like a champ. One of my favorite CR moments of all time.

I do wonder how Jester would have reacted if Caleb had played along, and how far it would have went. Jester seems like the kind of person who is always the one pushing, but never the one pushed back. Makes me wonder how far she would have gone, if at all.
I am convinced that she really wanted to "lay on her moves" on Caleb, as it were, with hardly any idea of what that would actually entail if any of them had worked. It's part of why I'm sure many find her such an interesting character. She's dirty and very "scandalous" in a lot of her language and humor, but she's also completely clueless. It's endearing and very fun to watch, to say the least.

It is truly incredible how much you are putting into each frame, how great each of your styles look, and that you effortlessly use them to help accentuate the story itself.
this was the cutest lil animation. every character, from Caleb's little crab walk, to Beau's awkwardness, and ofc Jestor's anime eyes and heart tail. Also every character looked so handsome. V enjoyable
Jester is a character that really sells the show and makes me want to watch it, but I'm honestly more curious about Nott and Caleb, they remind me of some of my favorite characters and friendship dynamics
The best part of critical role (and tabletop games in general) is trying to picture what they characters do when you are role playing, and you nailed this little interaction. Especially how jester poke her head out the door when caleb leaves. The only thing different from how i picture it, is the end. And mostly i just picture her jumping up and down on the bed as retells tusk love to beau.
This is absolutely fantastic! I just recently started watching C2, and I just finished episode 11. The amount of joy I felt when I realized the animation I had been seeing in my recommended forever was from an episode I've actually seen was immeasurable.
What make this funnier for me is with the way this is drawn it looks like jester had on one of those slightly translucent night gowns where if it has back lighting you can see the persons figure. Her saying all this while dress in that is a riot.
This is so cute and wonderful! Their expressions! It's amazing how clear the emotion is from the simplified eyes in the "can we go to sleep now" scene! Also, the way you draw them is absolutely adorable!

I watched this to get interested in critical role and I am so glad I did cuz it has opened a whole can of joy into my life but I thought nott was supposed to be an old man originally
It got mentioned one time (Hot tub episode) then was basically never addressed again! I was so looking forward to the shift in fan art, but it never really happened! The running joke that Fjord was kitten-weak never affected _his_ artistic portrayals as being cut from marble. It's my biggest complaint from this season, that those two characters were drawn "wrong" right from the original art.
I haven’t watched a single episode of critical role but I hope to god the rest of the Vox Machina story gets animated and then a show is made for Mighty Nein, this group is so good

I think the transparency was just bits of the sketch that were shown. It's done with same pen as the face positioning whatever they're called lines.
