I hope she gets sending for the hilarity
@@Direwolf181 If Laudna gets Sending, I hope it has the same flavour as her Message spell because that shit is hilarious.
@@Abyrae apparently sorcerers don't get sending which is a waste
@@Direwolf181 Oh right, but I thought warlocks did. But then I doublechecked and its WIZARDS that can get it.
Creepy Laudna Sendings would have been hilarious. T_T
@@Abyrae Imogen can get it because of her subclass
"its me jester hey i don't know if you're alone if you're not and you're following us then clear your throat if you're not following us"
New spell idea: "sending of the jester" send a message 25 words in length also deals 1d8 psychic damage
To whom?
But it only works if you use ALL the available words
The donut sending is peak Jester, and by far my favorite because it shows Laura coming out of her Jester-trance in time to hear the end of it and laugh hard about it.
i have the sneaking suspicion that the Traveler has made the 25 word thing mandatory for Jester for optimum confusion.
The psychic damage i have inflicted by knocking on my sisters door and asking what she’s doing and not hearing an answer and asking in the sweetest gentlest Romanian accent “Are you pooping?”
13:25 - She looks like a 13 yo version of herself showing her grades to her proud parents
That is way too accurate
Jester: Was that more than 25 words?
Matt Mercer, watching from on high: You’re good.
Giving Laura access to Sending is the best gift Critical Role ever gave the world.
my favorite thing is the moments when laura seems surprised by the words coming out of her own mouth, like jester has just fully possessed her and she has no control
I fully believe that Jester is just Laura's stream of consciousness turned into a character. Specifically the part that laughs at every unintentional innuendo. XD
Matt going "I love this spell so much" while crying from laughter.
I love that it took Matt until after like 10 attempts to tell her that she didn't have to use all of the words hahahah
“I PAID for 25 words, I’m USING 25 words!” -jester probably
8:25 I love how exasperated Sam gets because he seems like the group’s troll but he’s probably the player most immersed into the game
Nott was meant to be a bit of an antithesis to Scanlan, so it makes a strange sort of sense
Laura Bailey, the gift that keeps giving. She's so damn funny. Love her!!
I want to see what sort of chaos would ensue if jester, fearne, laudna, chetney, and scanlon where in the same room together.
How terrifying is it that Scanlan of all people would probably be the voice of reason. That's...that's quite the bar.
That's a one shot waiting to happen, OMG. And you could manage it with only one player substitution too.
Proposed group name, Scanlan's cult of cube shitters, or Scanlan's COCS.
I love that Liam hasn’t played a character chaotic enough to be mentioned- but Vax comes pretty close
@@tahreylate reply, but who's the character substitution? All of these characters are played by different cast members.
I really hope legend of vox Machina becomes a massive success so we can get the mighty nein animated and get peoples reactions to jesters messages
I want a mighty nein show incredibly bad.
@@asheslunchbox1947 It always came over to me as something akin to the first readthru of a really amazing animation script even from early on
this aged very nicely
This aged excellent
Your wishes have been granted
my favourite thing is travis’ brief moments where his brain reboots to make sure he’s counting words and not syllables
Jester learning how to properly use sending was the best character arc in the whole campaign.
I am no longer going to be sending hate mail to the BBEG with my sendings it will now be “doo do do donuts”
If you can't dazzle them with your daring, baffle them with your bullshit
🎵This is the song that never ends...🎶 Directly into the brain.
@@Reepicheep-1 That's some psychological warfare right there.
Imagine if you're some Lord of Evil or smth just scheming in your castle late at night, and suddenly you hear in your head "You just lost the game" 😂
Jester turned message into a weapon
I picture her sending message to random people she's meet once heck even people she saw one time.
"HEEEEEY HAT MAN......I really LIKE your hat do do do do...."
Like a year after she saw him
“IIIIIIIIMMMMMM THEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAT MAAAAAAAANNNNN…. BEEEEEEEE BAAAAAA BAAAAAAAA BAAAAAADAAAAAAA BOOOOOO”
Basically what she did to the plank king
@@nightstar6179 exactly but i reakon every nigjt before bed she messages multiple people
At the start of the campaign I mentioned that I defenitely needed to see a "Jester message supercut" and I would like to thank you for this gift of pure delight.
Matt: "You don't HAVE to use all the words"
Laura: "YES I DO"
That Astrid Sending in ep131 might be the single biggest crackup of the table in CR history. And deservedly
Rivaled only by Sam's character intro to the party in c3
"that was 22 words"
"Wow. I'll give it some flair"
"We been doing things, creepy shit"
That's flair, alright.
I need to see Jester and Laudna sending messages to each other.
Honestly though, both of them would love it.
That would be perfect.
Laura voicing Jester who is impersonating Nott who is actually Veth who is voiced by Sam is some VA/DnD inception gold!
It’s right up there with Liam voicing Caleb who imitates Travis playing Fjord who is imitating Vandren. ruclips.net/video/k6xqKG2M3GM/видео.htmlsi=XvrIcW5Box8_UUz2
Its crazy to think of all the stuff the Mighty Nein did, while having Jester be the main voice of their group
Literally cried throughout this whole video. My gut hurts from laughing so hard. I love Laura so much
Imogen using Sending the first time and saying something concise was the biggest shock after years of Jester lol
"...hey daaaaad"
I love how Jester consciously learns to limit her words over the series
"How's the circle of thumbs up?" just completely broke me...
I want to make a Circle of Thumbs Up Druid.
If Bells Hells ever meets the Mighty Nein, it has to start with Matt doing one of Jester's weird sendings.
EDIT: I mean, I was kinda right...
He got his revenge
"Do do do hmm hmm....donuts!" gets me every time 🤣
I think what we've learned is that Travis has a loose grasp of how many words most words are
When they created the Sending spell and put it into D&D, they could not have comprehended the chaos they had set into motion.
