@@factsare3852 Thank you - I just haven't been through the process yet. It will be simple because my dad is Ghanaian. It will also allow my children to get citizenship.

I'm Liberian and I have to admit that Ghana did a lot for us. Especially during the 14-year civil war in Liberia. They hosted us and they are still doing that till this day.
I remember vividly as a child in my grandad house we had a liberian lady who had fled the war and found refuge in my grandads home my aunty had given her some of her clothes to wear. there are companions ready to crush one another but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother proverbs 18:24

George Simpi well done for Assuring random people’s citizenship on social media...That’s exactly how the CIA overthrew Nkrumah. Nothing personal against the guy but come on bro!
ZeusRanger75 Destiny of all black is tied to Africa bro! Africa for Africans! Given your bro assurance of being welcome home has nothing to do with compromising ourselves. If African leaders were to listen to Kwame Nkrumah in 1963 at Adisababa, we would have been more United as Africans than now. One LOVE
George Simpi as much as we’d like for what you said to be true the Histories of Congo, Apartheid SA, Ghana and lots more African countries has proved there are black ‘traitors’ who given the chance will sabotage all Black progress!
Congratulation to those people back to their mother land, is very joyful to see people love their own country and the president of Ghana is a wonderful man, Long live to Ghana and Africa. Hope all the people in the world live peacefully together. Love from China.

Leigh Goodwin, MBA, for us it’s too much to simply enter a stupid store to be watched from entrance to exit, all disguised as “customer service” in most cases. I’m sure no black Americans are leaving the U.S. for this reason but I’m certain, given the all too frequent experience, they definitely think about it. When I travel outside the United States I definitely feel and witness the difference. That’s a fact!
Kwame Nkrumah lit the torch of unity, love and brotherhood among Africans and no one can dim no matter how long it tarries. Let the song "blewu" by Angelique kidjo be played across the globe to facilitate the exodus! Blewu literally meaning slowly we shall all get home. Destiny of all black is tied to Africa
Really these people are of high loyalty, after 400 hundreds years and so, they have come back home, really a good phenomenon, and they told, they don't want to stay at the beach, they want help to develop their home Ghana, may good bless all of you.
Puzzles are getting filled and things can no more fall apart...thank you Ghana, and thank you mother Africa for wholeheartedly accept your children back. I will be also home soon, please reserve my space😅🔥👍🏾
Africa is the ancestral home of Blacks living in the Diaspora, and it should be incumbent upon all member states of the African Union to welcome our fellow African Brothers and Sisters in the Diaspora back to Africa..... their promised land.

The main goal of every person of African descent should be to visit an African country. Until you know what it feels like to be in the majority where you are just an individual and not an adjective, you will never realize your full potential. May the Creator bless our great motherland and each other.

I am so happy to see something like this. After reading quite extensively about our shared history, I feel something deep inside of me about the historical significance of this event for the African people. I love my country Ghana 🇬🇭
This looks like a dream, although it's true i have allways thought about Americans moving to the continent wherever they choose to live and be welcome that's freedom bless you all
Yes, Ghana is too small a country to absolve all AA and the Diasporas. Nigeria, Namibia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Cameron, Togo, Benin etc not in particular order are all calling.
This is good. But is Nigeria doing this? Is Cameroon doing this? Is Senegal doing this? Is Congo doing this? How about Togo, Angola, and Mali? More of us African Americans were stolen from those places than Ghana.
Sis in Transition why don't you call up the embassies of Cameroon, Senegal, Congo, Angola, and Mali and ask them why arent they doing this? Because thats *none* of our concern. If they don't want to give out free citizenship well then that's their problem
I am so surprised you will have the thought of naming countries that didn't exist 400 years ago when the first slave was taken across the Atlantic, even if only one family was taken from Ghana we are welcoming that family back
Israel was founded in 1948, after several thousand years and several hundred civilizations that hated them - they rebuilt and are a power on this Earth. It first started as a trickle and now they guarantee the lives of all Jewish people on Earth through commerce, trade, science and even nuclear power. All done in 70 years. Not every person in the diaspora need come back home to Africa. In fact having vibrant and wealthy outposts all around the world is a great benefit to Africa. “Aliyah” - the right to return if you are of Jewish decent is a spiritual, political and economic strategy for Israel. What can Africa be in 70 years if all her children no matter where they are from - Columbia to Haiti to Detroit - can break bread and break ground? Imagine that and lets make it real.
