I spent so much money going on cruises and Europe(went to Morocco once), never crossed my mind to go to Ghana or any other black country in Africa. I really hope I can visit Ghana before I pass away. There was no internet while I was growing up and most black people, especially in Texas, were not traveling globally, unlike now. The internet has changed everything now. We are now more aware and knowledgeable.

Folks should just be grateful for the opportunities that re presented and take advantage of same. Ghan, Benin, Salone are examples. Not e dry country has the same policy or programs, To each to their niche. The continent is not a country. The folks are.Citizens of the country..

Everyone who got citizenship applied for residency status first. You would have needed to stay in the country, renewed your visa twice then apply for the residency. That's the first step. It can't be applied for, while you're outside of the country.

They still had to go through the process of filling out the proper paperwork and all were informed they had to be in the country to even qualify for it. Everyone I know applied for their residency before they could apply. Interviews were done by the Ministry of Interior, Diaspora Affairs and Ghana Immigration. Everyone has to pass police reports with background checks.

In 2016 under former president Mahama 34 Africans from the Diaspora were granted Citizen and their African brith right back as we can see we are gone from small numbers to big numbers over the years. Well done to Nana's government for this as well as former president Manama's government long may this continued.
Great observation, Ghanaians don't sleep when it comes to prayers, Christians are on mountains, in mountains in forests praying all year round for the peace and prosperity of Ghana. Having said this, there are also a lot of fake pastors and Christians in Ghana. The peace we enjoy in Ghana is from the ALMIGHTY GOD. All thanks and praises to our God Almighty.
Ghanaians have no such interest in handling anybody, let alone Nigerians. We're a thriving democracy and laser-focuesd on moving our country forward. No time for such distractions!
