Just cooked this today, this is a wonderful veg stew, i dont like zucchini so left that out. I didnt add any salt either, the stock was salty enough. Thankyou for sharing this video, i will definitely be making this again ❤❤
My husband HAD to have an instapot. He came home with one. Rarely comes out of the closet. Uses it only for ribs. I’m a vegetarian. I’m going to ask him to make this with HIS Instapot. Looks good.
My Mom made wonderful stew, but I'd always get the bay leaf! I take extra care to count how many I use (3) and to remove them at the end. Thanks for some new ideas - I'll add a couple more things in my next pot. Stew is a great way to use up all of the ingredients you happen to have on hand. And it's surprisingly good for breakfast! I like soup or stew for breakfast anyway - I picked that up from the Japanese tradition of having soup in the morning.
This too looks awesome! Love that it's vegan. I have an instant pot that I only use for decarbing I guess this is a good time to test it out for cooking LOL
I'm still learning, but so far I i ow that higher pressure means lower cooking time. So if you're cooking stew at high pressure, go 5 mins. If medium pressure, go 10 mins. If low pressure, go 15 mins. Again I'm no expert, but that's what I'm gonna try. Good luck!
Most of them should link to the full recipe where you might find more details. Instant Pot Official has a handy chart on their website with average cooking times for different foods like meat, poultry, different beans, veggies etc. That might be a good place to start as well.
It’s the only dish that I’ve tried with instapit that shows me “burn”. I’m not sure why, because no other recipe I make gives me this problem. Any idea?
With me, when I use Airfryer mode or saute mode for long period, my Instapot shows 'burn' message. And when I check it for any such things by flipping the sides of the food or nuggets or vegetables, I see no such signs of 'burn'. So, in my opinion, I think it is just a defect that is there in most of these. Before buying this also, I have countered similar kinds of customers' reviews. At the end of the day, it is just fine but it likes to give you a nudge every now and then ;)
Yes, you have to set it to Saute. If you go to the recipe link, you can find the full instructions with more details and all the ingredients you need. Hope that helps :)
The recipe wouldn't change. Some veggies take less time to cook than others, so you could add them to how you want them, ie firmer or less firm. Spices and stock would be the same, or omit and add to your tastes. A pressure cooker just cooks in less time that's all.

I made this last Monday and ate most of it (gorgeous) and a week later I'm still adding to it.

My dad would leave the bay leaf in, and whoever got it in their bowl he said would have good luck. It was "Yay, I got the bay leaf!" 😄
This looks very delicious

Can you please give us a list of ingredients ❤
What’s the slurry made of?
excellent
I've watched lots of instant pot videos and the timings seem so random. How do I know how long to pressure cook stuff for?

@@cookedandloved yes and I've found the instant pot app since I wrote this comment which is also helpful.

Was the insta pot on before you put the oil and vegetables in?

Can I just cook it in a regular pot? How would the recipe change? I don’t have an instant pot...

I like cooked longer for my taste. The flavor seem different.
You can definitely cook it for a bit longer, I simply find the veggies get a bit too soft for me.

Please talk and be active during the video,it makes it more fun to watch , anyway, great video
Too much artificial seasoning
You can always do the substitution and make the changes to suit you
Did you time for only 5 minutes? Thanks for not wasting our time making us watch you cutting up vegetables.
if it's British, it's 😝
British-inspired but trust me, it's super tasty!
