- Welcome to Cappadocia, where throngs of tourists come from all over the world to take selfies with hot air baboons. On the channel, we do things a little differently though. With thousands of cave homes in the region, I went on a quest to find the greatest campsite of them all. My own personal mansion. Let's go solo camping 🐉

You have got to watch some of these youtube researchers that are explaining what you have been really hiking, camping and climbing around and on. There are different aspects like much more advanced civilizations, fake history, hidden artifacts, melted buildings, mud flood, petrified wood, machines and giant humans and creatures. What we can see with our own eyes is what is sticking out of the top. When your eyes become more open by searching through these channels your exploration will become even more spectacular. You are one of the few bloggers I love watching. Your blogging is worth watching for because of its substance and quality - educational. Finn is focus on ocean unique occupants "ocean animals and critters" as well as land mammals that are starting to disappear on the face of the earth. You on the other hand is more on history of peculiar stories: abandoned buildings, castles and old machineries and now Cappadocia - a place where people used to call home - thank you Mike for this adventure - you made me feel like I am with you on this trip - as usual. 10 years ago, I went on a 10 day tour of Krasnodar in Russia (near Black Sea) and then onto Turkey. Istanbul > Cappadocia > Mersin > Sianlurfa. Great trip. We paid to spend 2 days in a cheaper converted cave house. Lovely. It even had a little fireplace. Goreme was the name of the town. I found Turkey was like 2 different countries in 1. The further East you go, the more Islamic and old-fashioned. We also have had some exploring go South but those were always the BEST trips. 😆 We had to stay overnight with a Turkish family near Gaziantep. Rumkale was the area, and there were a ton of old forts and cave homes on the river Euphrates. Just incredible. They treated us like royalty and would accept no money. Amazing people! They kept a cow in their garden. I'd live like that if I could, I feel trapped in the UK, I can't get out!

Of course they are from Gaziantep haha, people here are one of a kind. By some weird coincidence, my grandfather was born in a village of Rumkale. In fact, you must have seen it. It's the famous one with a half-sunk minaret of a mosque, now completely under water.

@@pepepepito623 Exactly...what an a-hole. The worst kind an oblivious one that thinks he is doing something good....well traveled and stupid to boot. Just think if 10k subscribers showed up to that spot and did what he just did...would the place even exist anymore...it's criminal in my mind stupid or not. I watched this guy pick up an obsidian blade in a cave in Belize made by Mayans...who knows what happened to that...then he picked up over 1 thousand year old bones of sacrifices! I couldn't believe and I still don't that I've seen such idiocy in 1 day.
Travel is the best cure for anything. It makes you feel TRULY alive :) Keep exploring, keep creating, stay curious !

Went to Turkey sever months ago. Just a fabulous place. Friendly people, great food, loads of history, and a great experience. Unfortunately, didn’t make it to capadocia. Will have to make another trip! Great video!

Awe I saw this and had to watch it. Great to see you Mike! I just love Cappadocia. We only spent a couple of days there and now I really need to go back. Although I will admit, I loved my luxury cave hotel the camping looks great! Fun to be away from it all and to be off the grid for a night.
