Привет, русскоязычный брат) Рад быть одним из тех, кто так же, как и ты, понимает, кем был Джерри Голдсмит и очень любит его музыку. Светлая память Великому Композитору и Человеку :)
makes me sad seeing this, but makes me happy when i think of all the amazing work he did, he said he considered total recall to be one of his best scores and i agree, just listen to the soundtrack its amazing and he was an amazing man and in my opinion the best at what he did, better than all the others john williams etc etc jerry was the best
I shot the video years ago and put together the tribute. The music is from William Ross' score to THE GAME OF THEIR LIVES and I believe is the "Train Station Goodbyes" or "The Story of the HIll" cue. Interestingly Goldsmith was to have scored THE GAME OF THEIR LIVES which was produced by the same team he worked with on RUDY and HOOSIERS. He sadly passed away before he was able to do the scoring chores. Ross did do a fine and beautiful score and I believe it Honors Maestro Goldsmith here.
@@Zooba57 thank you for the reply. I wasn't sure you were going to answer. I'm glad you did. I am looking up the score for the game of their lives by William Ross right now. It's a very beautiful tribute video. I live right by his final resting place within walking distance. My favorite composer of all time. I love Chinatown! ruclips.net/video/xgdC-FNgBoA/видео.html This is not an easy soundtrack to track down. I could only find a cd-r soundtrack available through discogs. Amazon is currently unavailable. Intrada doesn't carry it. How did you ever find it on CD? You are so lucky.
@@sunsetboulevardthemusicali8315 A friend had the CD-R in L.A. but I've lost track of him. Here are a few cues with that great theme: ruclips.net/video/EwTKi2gDdI4/видео.html
@@Zooba57 Thank you so much. I never expected that! And I really looked hard on RUclips for any videos of just the music with no real luck, some piano renditions and a few compilation videos. This is perfect. BTW, I really loved my dog skip. Beautiful music, too. I cry every time I see old skip just before he passes away.
RIP my fellow musician....will always love your work.
Goldsmith composed amazing music for The Swarm(1978), Inchon(1982) and Supergirl(1984).
Oh my...simply beautiful.
Thank you SO much for posting this video, beautiful! Jerry was a brilliant composer and his better we will not know!
What a special video. What a great gift. Thank you, thank you for posting this.
I was here a year after he passed... Thank You for doing this video.
Удивительное видео! Жаль, что пока немногие из русскоязычных по-настоящему понимают, кто такой Джерри Голдсмит! Это был великий композитор!
